A Six Flags park that adopts common sense rather than pedantic rules about making you walk all the way round again?!?!?! Never before heard of such a concept. Whatever next?
I've only been to this park twice on back-to-back days (it's not exactly round the corner from Manchester, England) and my first ride was thankfully in the pitch black. I was thus far from ready as to what immediately ensues at the bottom of the first drop. Took a joyous beating.
i went to six flags for a youth trip, and this was my first time riding actual huge crazy roller coasters (i used to get sick) we were on a timed schedule and i remember riding this last with a few friends, all i remember was i blacked out. and my friends were laughing at me. 😂
Rode this earlier this morning and got beat tf up the entire thing that double up element right before the the final break run was BRUTAL!. Loved it and 10/10 would ride again
my favorite roller coaster. I am gonna be so bummed if it ever gets the rmc treatment. I love it in all its rickety, violent glory. although it was even better with the 540 degree helix at 2:20.
I used to work there, and I would drive my golf cart on those side roads and underneath The Boss. It was super cool when they’d fly by above my head haha
I was really excited to ride this one when I visited the park for the first time this weekend, but good lord is it rough. I hope they could at the very least add padding to the restraints as my legs were still sore a few days afterwards
I operated this ride and I'd always tell people at the very end... Boss is a master for bringin "Sweet Pain" for any beginner that's not used to it yet... But it was always those that are up in age that ended up hurt
@@galliumg8483 time traveler comes no where close to steel vengeance, ride to Hapiness is just way better then time traveler, maverick isn’t to bad but SteVe is the taller ride and is way better, i305 has good forces but not as much airtime as SteVe, velocicoaster has good theming but steel vengeance is way taller and way faster, iron gwazi focuses more on speed and forces still a good ride but comes very close to SteVe but steel vengeance has way more airtime
I operated this ride for the 2021 season and I actually took that idea up with the carpenters and other Mechanics but truth is tht would make the wooden structure supporting the tracks unreliable and costs plus maintenance they'd loose more money. Our park is on a very tight budget
@@deangelowarren3491 I am sorry to hear about the budget. I wish the company would put more money into this park like they do with Great America or Fiesta Texas because this place definitely has a lot of potential. Well hopefully that could change a few years down the road.
@@deangelowarren3491 Okay but what about new restraints on Ninja or Boomerang. If you can replace them with the ones on Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia then you've got a perfectly smooth ride. Have you brought that up with them?
i went on this ride last summer with a couple of my friends from church, and i remember sitting in the 3rd cart (which is one of the roughest carts to ride in on this) and feeling my seatbelt before the first drop and it was so loose! i tightened it and held onto the little bar thing the whole time after that and called my friend outside the ride afterwards and he said if i wouldn’t have messed w the seatbelt i would’ve flown off the rollercoasters. so scary but i’d totally do it again😹
I've never been able to go on an actual rollercoaster just cause I havent gotten the opportunity to go to an actual theme park. I've only ridden smaller rides at local fairs that happen during the summer. Once I get a new job (I'm 16 and my old one closed) I'm gonna pay for me and my family to go and I've decided that this will be the first rollercoaster I ever go on cause it doesnt seem as intimidating as some of the others it just kinda seems like a generic rollercoaster :)
You're entire body aches for at least an hour after this ride and it was even worse when the corkscrew was still in it (I loved that part) yet still go on it every time I go to this park....
This could be a good coaster if made smoother. I felt like I’d gone a round with Mike Tyson. Worst coaster in park Ninja isn’t far behind. A few years ago they redid the Giant in Texas taking it from bad to good. Bring on that team of engineers quickly before someone is hurt.
I rode this 10 times straight yesterday. The park didn’t have many guests and since nobody was in line to take our seats, we just stayed in the cart.
I rode it three times in different seats. The first of which was in the front seat.
Six Flags ride attendants using common sense to bypass the rules? Whatever next?
I ❤ this rude I just dont like the long walk
Love when that happens. I got to ride the wildcat in Hershey park 10 times in a row on Halloween night because it was raining and the park was empty

I get this.

I just rode it yesterday ...What a ride..Im ready to go back already..
I grew up riding this ride. I live in VA now so I don't get to very much anymore. I'm glad others enjoyed it just as much as I do every time.
Yea that double up is a vertical banger
yeah i rode it yesterday too, people said it would hurt your neck but honestly the only thing that hurt was my stomach/rib area. it hits hard im ngl
Everytime I got to Six Flags St.Louis I ride this rollercoaster probably at least 6 times.
Geez you can really take a beating can’t you
I went on this today and it’s not like it used to be, It’s a lot more rough now.
yeah i hit my head on it
Needs RMC'D!!
this is the best Fright Fest park six flags has to offer
my favorite roller coaster. I am gonna be so bummed if it ever gets the rmc treatment. I love it in all its rickety, violent glory. although it was even better with the 540 degree helix at 2:20.
This ride is no joke!! One of my favorites though.
My favorite ride in the whole park
What an underrated roller coaster

1:04 I thought that was broken track at first!
The Beast of Missouri

They’ve redone the cars and seats so it isn’t nearly as rough as it used to be. Before it was redone the restraints didn’t even touch my lap.
Jesus christ that thing throws you around like a ragdoll
I went to here on June 4th and yes it sure does that’s why it’s one of my least favorite rides.
I operated this ride and I'd always tell people at the very end... Boss is a master for bringin "Sweet Pain" for any beginner that's not used to it yet... But it was always those that are up in age that ended up hurt
Now THIS looks like a great 'Woodie'!!
Richard
This ride has so many Positive G’s, was not ready for it.😅 made me feel like I305 but wood
This ride is so rough but fun
Just did this bad boy in the dark 2 nights ago what a ride
My favorite coaster ..THE BOSS.
Nice vid 👍👍
Still my favorite roller coaster I’ve been on. Although manta ray at sea world is a close second.
Once I can travel more I’ll be able to ride more
Go to Ohio’s cedar point and you will see a coaster called steel vengeance ride it and you will have a new favorite coaster
@@Duelingdragons382iron Gwazi, time traveler, velocicoaster, maverick, and i305 better sorry not sorry

The perfect roller coaster for an RMC redo.
i love this ride as is

I disagree. I love this ride just the way it is.
Love me some Boss!
My favorite wooden roller coaster and I rode it at six flags St. Louis and I am from Illinois.
I’ve been on this ride. I passed out no kidding

SCHILKE!!! JUST SCREAMING FOR ALAN SCHILKE'S GENIUS TOUCH!!!💯
One of my other favorite Missouri coasters, besides Mamba. I wish they would rid of those Gerstlauer trains, though.

It either needs the Ghost Rider Treatment, Titack Track or RMC
One time I was on this ride and I put in the restraint and I dug it too deep in me and my stomach hurt every time I walked for hours
I went on that u couldn’t see the drops sense the trees were blocking it and I was like this looks fun *me screaming on the top of my lungs*
Is the drop 150 feet because of the double down drop?
I think it is
This is a mess. I do love the double dip down on the first drop though
It would awesome if The Boss can ever receive an RMC upgrade.
No GhostRider treatment or Gravity Group precut track would be better. Rmc sucks
You're entire body aches for at least an hour after this ride and it was even worse when the corkscrew was still in it (I loved that part) yet still go on it every time I go to this park....
Uh, there was never a corkscrew
do you mean double helix? the boss never had a corkscrew
There wasn’t a corkscrew, and it wasn’t even painful for me.
You have to ride this twice. Cause the first time is will jack up all your bones and joints. The 2nd time will set you straight.
It’s science
Couldn't have said it better.
This would make a great RMC candidate.
Nah, retrack is much more better
St. Louis Chan Brothers
Looks rough, Lets RMC it :)
I got a migraine just watching this video.
Oh man, they took the helix out :(
It's just too painful. You could feel every single bump. Felt like i fractured a rib.
fun but wish it was less bumpy
This tide looks nuts. Makes no sense its like a wooden hyper
This thing was made to be RMC'd
They need to get GCI to titan track this: GCI trains on CCI track is a very poor combination.
Gave me a headache just watching it. Great RMC candidate. Even if they just put the 208 track on it.

This coaster is so painful
And they took the helix out
Gci track it please!!
how would they do that
I rode this coaster and got stuck on it. It’s really not that bad
I didn't get stuck.
United States FIFA World Cup
It will rough you up
Those Gerstlauer trains are not it 👎
Six’s flags rlly trying to copy ghost rider at knotts
both rides were built by Custom Coasters International
It’s rough, but a good rough, but that was about 14 years ago.
