    I know this video is a couple of years old, but thank you for the cooking demo. Been considering grills in the $3500 - $4500 range and no joke, there are like zero user demo’s out there. Just a bunch of dudes standing over shiny grills talking features. Which is nice but also useless. The point of buying a grill is to use it. Not talk about it. Easy Start up, temperature control, flare ups and hot spots are what matter most. Good stuff, brother. Cheers!

      Glad you found it useful. This was one of a few videos that I decided to film during the COVID lockdown for my dealer network. It was fun and tasty. The Hestan is still my favorite gas grill if you can afford it.

    In a Hestan 30” size grill. Would you recommend to get both sides infrared ? Or both sides trellis ?

    Nick,
    I watched both videos: Hestan and Aspire. In your opinion, is the Hestan worth the extra $3000? I’m looking at the 36” with one sear station.
    Thanks!

      It really depends on budget, the Hestan grill is priced close to other competing luxury gas grills yet it offers incredible features that no other competitor can. If your budget allows, I recommend the Hestan. If we are purely going based on price point, you would be very satisfied with the Aspire by Hestan with high heat, a beautiful grill that’s built to last without feeling that you having to settle for something else.

    Nick I hope you can answer this question today.....I'm getting the 30inch Hestan and am being told by hestan that mixing ( one sear, one traditional) won't be that bad... because its variable..... I just feel that for the few times I would sear, the 25000 but would certainly give me enough searing power... and I wouldn't have to worry about losing grill space on the 30" or having to balance out/figure out how to get both sides to be the same temp, for non sear cooking when I want the whole grill..... I really feel its. a mistake to get an sear on a 30" please advise..... Thanks

      @justgrillin 3 роки тому

      If you referencing the main line (not the Aspire), I don't think you'll need the infrared sear burner below and would be fine with the two Trellis burners. We just did searing tests (video coming soon) comparing the infrared sear and rotisserie burner sear on a 30-inch Hestan. It's too much cooking space to give up to a sear burner that isn't used enough IMO. You should be more than happy with the results using the rotisserie burner as a broiler/sear zone on top cooking rack.

      Sorry, i did not see your comment sooner. I would recommend going with all trellis burners on a 30-inch Hestan grill, you do not want to dedicate half of your grill to a sear.

    • @delveaudio201
      @delveaudio201 3 роки тому

      @@nicksreviewsmiami thanks. They partially delivered the mixed burners, but I’m going to have them swap out the sear for a trellis. Gonna cost a few more dollars, but I didn’t want to wait 12 weeks…. Oh well. Looking forward to using it this coming weekend. The one negative is the rotisserie is too close to the back wall. Would love to be able to add the rib o later. I would love to rotisserie a few racks at a time.

    Hey Nick. Fantastic video. I'm in the middle of grill research, and came across Aspire by Hestan, and I think it might be a winner. I'm looking at the 36" model, with (1) infrared and (2) traditional burners. Is the infrared only for searing? I'm stoked for the idea of searing, but want to be able to maximize grilling surface too.

    • @nicksreviewsmiami
      @nicksreviewsmiami  3 роки тому

      Hey there, the sear Burner is a variable temperature sear so you can use it for grilling as well as searing but it will always be hotter and more intense than the traditional burners.

    Hi Nick. Thanks for the video on the Hestan Aspire. I'm trying to decide between the Hestan Aspire and the Lynx Sedona (30")? I would appreciate some informed input.

      @@ESW206hi there. I love the quality but i have had some difficulty controlling the heat and flare up from the ceramic tiles...but I think it is also a function of my ineptitude and lack of experience grilling. Plus, I like to put marinades on my meat and so that produces more flaring. The high quality grade stainless steel and made in US was what I was looking for. Hope that helps.

    What flavor are you getting from propane?

    • @nicksreviewsmiami
      @nicksreviewsmiami  3 роки тому

      I taste the food, not the propane. And on that note, I prefer to taste my food and the seasoning I decide to use, wood or charcoal adds another flavor on food so I prefer to cook without adding extra flavor.
