Yeah , I pretty much rounded off the hex bolt . Thing would not hold still while I used the box end wrench 🔧. Paused operations until I can remove it. I watched one video where someone used a grinder to remove it. Either that or a shop is in my future.
I didn't use a torque wrench for any of the bolts. It isn't as critical as something like a cover with a gasket. Tight enough so you know it isn't going to come off again. Hopefully you will never have to do it again.
PB Blaster has the strongest gasoline smell, btw! EXCELLENT video! Thank you!

Sure makes me love my air tools.
Does ur boot cover still bunch up ?
Great Video! Did you notice any ride quality difference using a KYB strut?
I feel like I achieved the original ride quality which is why I chose this strut. It was more expensive, but I feel like it was worth it.
Any information on how much need to torque ?

The Allen bolt is annoying for those of us in snow country
Why did they make a freaking hex bolt inside of a crown nut for this process??? Clearly they only want Lexus Toyota mechanics to mess with this .
