Accuride recommends the following protective equipment when installing or servicing components:
• Safety glasses
• ANSI Level A5 cut resistant gloves for brake drums.
• Lighter gloves are acceptable for wheels and slack adjusters.
• Hearing protection if operating impact tools.

Half turn backed off does/will not be the same every time...DOT looks for specific actuation distance...adjust so all brakes actuate the same distance within DOT spec
