Brought a BMW and this symbol has been on it since as he said he changed brakes and it stayed on. It's been bugging me for about 2 months now, watched a few videos but couldn't find the solution so I watched your video and BOOOMMMM it's gone, cheers. Very happy BMW owner now !!!
Thank you! Finally found one with the BC controller. Had to watch a couple of times. But finally got the light to reset. Of course this is after replacing everything on the front brakes. Thanks again!👍👍
Hey, m8, mine have the same problem, front brake pads with lines, but when I reset them, it won't write the numbers, but there still appears the lines. Is it sensor problems? 🤔
It could be that it is just one of the wires. Usually the sensor is inside the brake, when it gets to the sensor it should trigger the alarm. Maybe jt could be a faulty sensor in the brake but I highly doubt it. Is it the standard brakes from BMW or is it a "aftermarket" brake?
@@megalodononwheels I solved the problem with sensor replacement. I tried to reset it, and then had problems with these -----. Replaced and it's done. BMW is very smart car, and she knows that nothing is replaced))
Pressing the button left of instrument cluster and Triangle light just blips on. The only items I get as options are Clock Set, Check Control & Oil. 2011 E90 328iX
Hi, unfortunately I haven't put a foot in a BMW since the day I recorded this video 💔 What I can reccomend is get your hands on a service/car book. Just look in there maybe there is a slightly different way it needs to be done.
Thanks man, all i can think of is that your breaks are actually finished, it has a sensor connected in the break pad so if it gets triggered it will stay on the entire time until you change it, maybe just have a look and ensure you still have some breaks left... also if you did change the breaks recently, did you plug the cables in?
I did it for front braking pad the digital number went to ----------- and now I have rear and front same issue plus red light warning of car lifting picture any help ? e90 - 2011
The lifting car means it is due for a service, it doesn't have anything to do with the Brakes... To reset it is also similar but i recommend to service it then reset it :)
Brother.. i have same issue, and its pretty much same like yours, rear pads are orange color and front are yellow with lines, i did same like you, but nothing happened, could it might be a front sensor or what ? Thanks anyway 👍
Tell me Quick... Is your brakes still fine? Usually when the brakes are done the alarm will come on... And also just maybe have a look at the wiring, maybe use a multimeter and see if there is power going through the lines

It might be a sensor... Also tell me did you look at your breaks? Are their life still good? Because if they sre finished the lights will not go off
Worked well. Thanks mate!
Glad i could help ☺️👌
So if it doesnt reset and says -800 miles why I have all new rotors miles and sensors😭
That is very weird, tell me the new brakes you installed, did they have the cable you plug in? Otherwise maybe along the way a cable is broken
doesnt work mate, changed all the sensors as well. No reset

Does not work
That means you might actually have a bad wire, connection or your brakes is done
Thanks bro that light annoying
No stress... Glad i could help 😎💪
