She is a natural with the camera! Where many people on UA-cam are making a self-conscious and studied presentation, she manages an engaging conversational tone as though she were chatting cheerfully and casually with a small group of listeners. To me the vocabulary seemed appropriate to an intermediate level, particularly with her relatively normal speech cadence. I would certainly look forward to seeing her again in further videos.
Poco a poco ;) Gracias otra vez. Nos vemos pronto ★
All three new teachers have been great! I don't know why people are saying this video isn't intermediate. Intermediate has a very broad spectrum everybody! Pushing yourself to really listen and understand content that is slightly more difficult is exactly what this channel is about and I think Lorena did a great job of using gesticulations, emotions and expressions to convey the context.
Pablo, add her now to your library of speakers. I had to turn her down to 75 percent speed for a few minutes, but when I went back to 100 percent speed for most of her presentation, she was great - I needed to adjust. I have not seen her in other videos, but re-contact her now. Her accent is good, and she seems a good variation to have in your collection.
This was a great video! It would be good to see more content from Lorena. Some people have said that it's advanced, but anyone with a B2 level in Spanish could definitely understand most of this.
Her speech is clear and I don't see any problem in the sound, and I like her interactive way to communicate the ideas, but I think these kinds of videos are closer to advanced than intermediate.
Bien hecho, Lorena.
The sound quality could be improved but she could still be heard clearly enough. A closer (i.e. head and shoulders) view would allow a better opportunity to watch her facial expressions and how her words are formed which might then lead to a better understanding. However, the further I got through the video, the more I understood. And, as others have pointed out, this is how the language is spoken.
I don’t get what everyone is saying. I only just moved up from beginner level videos, I have to skip some intermediate ones because they’re too hard, but this one I understood perfectly!
Hola Lorena!
And to the people complaining: This might be upper intermediate, but it's still intermediate. She spoke clearly and at a decent pace. The video might be longer than you expected, but hang in there because she repeats things nicely.

I thought that straight away, she's natural and more engaging in front of camera than many others.
Please let her make more videos. This is definitely a B1/B2 level. Thank you.

She's great! I'm sure everyone will comment on the sound, but obviously, that will change with time. She's really engaging and fun!

Is Lorena still making videos for DS on the website? I love her accent.
Wow, she is awesome.
Punto 2.00. Qué linda 😊

Me encanta! Muy muy util, gracias!
Me encantan este video
Thank you!!!!!!
I haven't heard anyone speak Castillian in 12 years. I understood most of what she was saying, despite my lifetime exposure to Tex-Mex Spanish.
11:26 - What words is she saying? Tocón and Sabón? I understand the topic but Im trying to figure out these two words specifically
Hola, Stewart. Las palabras son "tocón y sobón". Espero que te sirva para aclarar dudas :)
Hola!
Hola, David :) No, no tengo.

I know a Spanish girl who works in London and she has better time keeping than me.
Couldn't understand a word.
Try watching easier videos! We have plenty of superbeginner and beginner videos.
te casas conmigo???
Spanish language= deaf language....each word is translate by their hands
