Dude, keep making these kinds of videos. It's awesome seeing not only magic but the kinda of behind the scenes of the business side. Great entertainment and I literally laughed out loud when you said "Welcome to london" and pretended to run off with her purse. Priceless! Great job!
The fork thing is brilliantly insane and I love it. Speaking of things I love, this video also makes the list. Also really interesting seeing how street shows work and what your shows are like, if ever I'm in London I'll have to pop by!
Hey man, I just wanted to let you know, how, much I enjoy your videos, and that you are one of the few people, who's worth watching! Keep up the good work!😃👍
This was fantastic. Please make more of these but LONGER !!! I would watch a 30 minute video of this no matter if you just layered the video with ads!!
Great behind the scenes video of street performing. Nice to know the workings behind street performing, especially for magic, and doing street busking for magic is already not an easy thing at all. Great job
Oh also, could you do a second channel vid on your confidence with street performing? Are you scared anymore? Has your confidence grown? Have you always been confident with what you're doing? etc!!
I love the way you've done this by explaining as you go! You're very talented, I'm glad you evolve your tricks and try to perform different tricks than the common ones. Love your magic content! I'd LOVE to see you perform...unfortunately I live in Newcastle.
Leicester Square is so fab. I was there on the Monday after SitC ended, and it's just got such a great vibe to it. We just chilled for like an hour while waiting to go to the airport. Weh, you're making me miss London so much. HOW DID YOU GET THAT INSIDE OF A LEMON. WHAAAAAT. There's this band in Ireland called Keywest who are always busking around the place (they're fantastic), and I've seen the same kind of walk-off with them too. It's crazy, because if you're enjoying someone's show and they're really talented, you should give them something if you can afford to!
Keywest are great! I've shared a pitch with them a couple of times. It's interesting becasue I never realised the significance and importance of paying street performers until I got to know street performers and got into it myself. It is amazing the difference that even £1 makes. If everyone put in £1 it would make our lives a lot easier. And if people can't afford £1, a thank you is still appreciated. The pain is when people just walk off after you essentially gave them your all.
It is a great video for many reasons. It is interesting, magical, high quality and you also give informations no one else gives, like how much money you made. I am from Germany and here we have many big youtuber who have zero content in their videos. If you where German you might have a million subscribers by now - I am very sure.
Hey Steven, I really enjoyed this "day in the life" video. You do not disappoint! I appreciate all your hard work to keep us non-wizardly folk entertained! THANK YOUUUUU!
Wellll it's interesting really, if they can't do a good show than being at L square all day for the sake of getting 1 or 2 sets will be really unprofitable for them so they won't stick around. Also if they are very inexperienced performers will politely recommend they try some of the beginner spots. But honestly, most of the time the street just chews people up and spits them out. It takes quite a lot of will power to push through the beginner stage of street performing.
+StevenBridges thanks for the answer. I knew a guy who used to do a 'Silverman / statue performance in San Francisco. He had a lot of stories about the good and bad of street performing.
it may oversaturate your twitterfeed, but tweeting the times you perform may be a good thing. something like a twitter account for a location might be cool too, that way anyone coming there knows who will perform there if they want to see something like that. who gets access to that account may be a thing to worry about but oh well. maybe have some sort of bot that tweets anything you email to a specific email adress. the heading of the email could be a password that could change weekly or something like that and the body gets tweeted. then the email adress and the pw could be on that timetable and anyone who wants can send in their times.
Brilliant. Awesome. I was lucky enough to see you at Leicester Square once and I now have one of your destroyed forks on my drawer at home. Thank You for inspiring me Steven.
Man I love to watch this channel grow! Ive been subscribed for a while and now ur posting more and have more tricks and all so cool! I hope to stick with you for a long time more. :) :P
Dude, when you first told us you were street performing, I was like heh, I give him two weeks. He's too timid. BUT YOU DID IT, BOII! I've never been THIS HAPPY to be wrong and see someone succeed by adapting quickly.
Thank you very much man! The whole thing intimidated me a lot, but the thing is, I went ALL IN! If I didn't succeed at it I wouldn't have been able to pay my rent. I had no choice. So I had to figure it out. :)
Omg, I just didn't expect I looked so embarrassed at the camera, but... Thank you for that really funny moment & tricks !!! :D (And btw, the fork safely arrived in France ! ;) )
Well done - as always! What does the woman say at around 3:02? In between when she asks if she can keep it and you say that she might not be able to take it on the plane.
She was meaning to say 'The fork is coming to France'. I.e she's taking the fork to France. :) Her english was a little off there but it's a ton better than my French.
"Welcome to London!" loved it!

The fork thing is brilliantly insane and I love it. Speaking of things I love, this video also makes the list. Also really interesting seeing how street shows work and what your shows are like, if ever I'm in London I'll have to pop by!

i can feel the massive amount of work that's gone into making this video! and just the fact that you do street performance for a living is amazing
I'm glad it shows! So happy to see people are liking it!
Coronavirus probably affected this business. We need to warn time travelers to stay away from 2020.

This comment means a lot, thank you!
+StevenBridges Well, thank you!👌
Gathering the audience with forks is clever. And then to do a bend in the show is just brilliant.
Great job
Definitely more of these types of videos
Awesome :D I quite like the idea of a vloggy esque feel but with magic mixed in. :)
Definitely it's a really good idea!
Can't stop watching your videos!!
I started laughing like an idiot at ˝Welcome to London˝ :'D
;D
This was awesome, was epic to see how you structured everything and how you drew in a crowd. Good pace to the editing too loved it.
Steven!! I can't wait till you upload again!!
Wow, great video!! It felt like 30 seconds long... I just blinked and it was already over! So much fun to watch!! Great job, Steven! X)
Steven: "I think I'll use the force to take the lid off this cup."
Me: So the legends are true...
This was so so interesting, I also loved the little magic tricks you showed us in between shows!!
Ah thank you very much! Glad you liked it!
Oh also, could you do a second channel vid on your confidence with street performing? Are you scared anymore? Has your confidence grown? Have you always been confident with what you're doing? etc!!
I'm visiting Londen at the beginning of next month and after seeing this I just really really really hope I can see you perform while I'm there!
Thank you. This was very helpful and a good inside look at a street magic show.
Steven of all the magic performers I think I like your personality and presents the most keep up the great vid:D

I love the way you've done this by explaining as you go!
You're very talented, I'm glad you evolve your tricks and try to perform different tricks than the common ones.

I'd LOVE to see you perform...unfortunately I live in Newcastle.
I'm from Newcastle! Maybe I'll perform there one day :)
Awesome!
I even did a video on the accent!
I'm going off track now, I'd love to see you perform up in the toon! :)
I have mad respect for what you do, performing in the street has to be one of the hardest thing anyone could do. Cheers from Perú.
Loved this, I have never seen a video with such insight before on this particular subject so thank you my friend!
Leicester Square is so fab. I was there on the Monday after SitC ended, and it's just got such a great vibe to it. We just chilled for like an hour while waiting to go to the airport. Weh, you're making me miss London so much.

Likewise! I'll let you know about that pint :)
Great behind the scenes video. The que system helps regulate the quantity of acts. What are the factors the determine the quality of acts ?

Lol when you took the lid of the tea I seen the string and that's why you made the led hang off a little so the string could hit it
great insight into your life outside of youtube!! let's get you to 100k Bro, you are so close👍👍👍
it may oversaturate your twitterfeed, but tweeting the times you perform may be a good thing. something like a twitter account for a location might be cool too, that way anyone coming there knows who will perform there if they want to see something like that. who gets access to that account may be a thing to worry about but oh well. maybe have some sort of bot that tweets anything you email to a specific email adress. the heading of the email could be a password that could change weekly or something like that and the body gets tweeted. then the email adress and the pw could be on that timetable and anyone who wants can send in their times.
Very interesting idea. I often snapchat when I'm performing and occasionally tweet when I'm feeling on top form. :)
I'm so happy u did this . I've always wanted to know how the system works .i have a new respect for u man

StevenBridges It reminds me of when my shy, quiet older brother started selling vacuum cleaners door-to-door. I couldn't believe the balls he grew!
Dude, you should tour like this, will be exciting!!!
I've been very very tempted to do a street show tour at some point but it would be a huge risk (the idea I have specifically is pretty crazy)

What does the woman say at around 3:02? In between when she asks if she can keep it and you say that she might not be able to take it on the plane.
"It's coming in France".
Thanks Bart!
So forks are coming in France?!? I'm sooo confused. :)
She was meaning to say 'The fork is coming to France'. I.e she's taking the fork to France. :)
