So glad you’re plugging the library. I’m a library assistant and libraries are wonderful places. Free books to borrow and free computer use each day. Free WiFi for your own devices and book clubs, activities and more! Please all use your local library or they might close and you’ll lose that wonderful community service! ❤
I grew up in the 70's & 80's when central heating and double glazing wasn't really a thing in most homes and there would be ice on the inside of the metal frames single glazed windows and you could see your breath when you got up of a cold winters morning! 😂
I'm an avid Library user, always have my nose in a book and I can be expensive buying them. I love that you can order particular books and they let you know when they're available. Mine also does coffee mornings, book clubs, knitting clubs etc. I wish more people would support their local library. Glad you've highlighted the advantages 🙂
Not only am I an avid library user(my local library is a mile from my home), I’m a retired librarian. Worked in medical libraries for 41 years. Thank you for encouraging library use.
Great shopping. Our library also has coffee and biscuits at a very reasonable price which is nice as a lot of pensioners pop in and have a chat now.I have also had a cuppa with them..They have so interesting to chat with
Your vlog just came across my feed for the first time. I’m under my heated throw right now in NYC, loving the polka dot cup & saucer. I started a free “ library exchange” in my NYC building that is wildly successful. After the books that I have donated have been on the bookshelf for 6 months to a year I bring them to my local thrift store Goodwill. Fun vlog!
Well done for promoting your local library. I love the library near me. They have so much to offer, not just books as you say but also information on what’s happening in the local borough. Thumbs up to you Mr Carrington.
I used to live next door to a library in London, so used it a lot 😊 I now live in the midlands and many libraries in my town have closed, with community groups taking over to keep the space open. Unfortunately they’re obviously not as well funded so less choice/ not new books. Use your library if you have one!
That is so bad, everyone should have a local library. I only know that my local library offers online audio books and gives access to books via their online portal.
I practically lived in the library as a kid and love reading. Might have helped that my aunt was the librarian there 😂. Also helped out at my school library at lunchtime at secondary school. My daughter also helped run a reading club for kids at our local library where I live now….so it’s in the blood a bit. Hope you enjoy your library! 💚🧡
Love the Emma Bridgewater cup and saucer, never seem to find anything like that in our local charity shops. I thought of Kate as soon as I saw it though. And I have been a member of the library forever, love it.
Glad to hear you’ve joined the library, there’s so much to find out! You asked if any of us are library members - my Mum took me along to join when I was 5 and I have been a member for 76 years! Heavens, I am so old! That staircase basket will be a wonderful playground for the kittens.
Oh love the stairs basket x Can’t wait for the dumpster dive x Can I just say the latest series of “sort your life out” has had me in tears. What a fantastic team you are lots of love to you all xxxx
After a really stressful week, I was so pleased to sit down quietly and enjoy a new video from Mr C. Thankyou Iwan. Sue x PS I'm off to the library this week. 👍
As usual you have done well with charity shop finds! Memory book a good idea, just tear that page out! Cup & Saucer I thought of Kate as soon as you showed it too! Love that you joined the library, They are getting few and far between these days so good you are supporting your local one. Travel book, perfume from Tiffany, the hanging charm for the roof garden I really liked that. The best thing for me though I think has to be the stair basket at only a fiver! I have wanted one of those for the longest time but always a bit pricey just for a want and my little plastic basket with handles that I got for about £2 does the job of sorts, but if I saw that for that price I would nab it quick! Great haul loads of fun as usual so thank you x Have a good week to come x
Great finds Mr C. Thankyou for mentioning the library... I went online and registered, really simple. I haven't been into my local one since moving. 📖📚❤️😊
My down-time video for this morning. Love, love watching Mr Carrington & Company. Thank you for sharing your finds - the cup & saucer suits you. I think you should keep it.
I have had a library card since I was 5 years old. Fabulous memories of my dad reading books to me in the children's section. While in high school I worked in our main branch, loved it! Your items are wonderful, good finds. Cannot wait to see it all in use.
The larger libraries often have a cafe too. For those who WFH libraries are a great place to work from without the expectation to buy anything. My local library is a designated 'warm space' so always lovely and toasty through the winter.
Oh my goodness the kitties are getting so big! Their coats look very healthy and the markings are so beautiful 😻. Watch you and Luke every Sunday while I have my morning coffee
Fab video mr c. Some very nice things from the charity shops. Kate is a very lucky girl getting those lovely finds . We enjoy regular visits to the libraries around and about. Most of our Leeds ones have tea and coffee for free to help yourself to whilst you read or play board games etc there. The stairs basket was very nice and so handy. Bet the kittens are loving jumping in and out of it . 😊
Love 💕 the Starbucks mug and your celebrity kittens! I think the cup & saucer are perfect for Spring & Easter time. I really like the heated blanket, perfect for nights you don’t need the home heat on but want to remain toasty
Hi Mr C! Great haul. I read several books a week and when I go to the library they all greet me by name. I am there several times a week, libraries have so much more to offer than just books!
Hi Mr c .. Great buy with the cup and saucer kittens are realy growing ..that basket is fab never seen one like that before ..you had a lot of good bargains ..kittens will love the throw for sure ....thanks for sharing..see you on x jo ..(johannea)♥️🐈🐈👍
I can't believe how fast the kitten's grew! It seems like just last week that you introduced them. Fav items that you shared were the heated blanket and the step basket. Fun fact, we had a huge Fig Tree in our backyard when I was a child, I love figs to this day. Have a great week Iwan!
I love my local library and it’s right down the street from me. It’s a beautiful building and has won architectural awards - it has two lovely coffee shops as well. I borrow books and lots of DVDs, mostly British TV series. All members have a $5.00 monthly printing allowance as well, if you use up your allowance then it’s 20 cents a page.
I came across both yourself and Luke just before Christmas when you were shopping at Fortnum & Masons. Now hooked! Thank you for raising awareness for libraries. They offer so much and are easily overlooked. Your kittens look a whole lotta fun! Do they go outside at all? Keep up with the vlogs. They are fascinating!🤗
Fab haul Mr. Carrington, I love the stair basket great idea for taking things up and anything to bring down, you may find that the cats will also like the basket. i think they are libel to take a shine to the curtain too. just be aware they could get the nails fast in the material or tassels. some great finds. xx
Great finds. Quite liked the sounds of the City in the background. I previously lived in London now backin Liverpool. The stair basket is something I need. I have just ordered the throw yesterday. Your presentation is always so professional. It was lovely seeing your new kitten 😸
Here's a tip (As i fell into this situation) Library: if your working on the PC, they auto turn OFF 10 MINS Before closing!! So make sure to Save/Print well in advance of then, else your PC WILL just turn off, in front of you, and you'll loose your work/not be able to finish and print, etc. They don't tell you!
I have just started using bathroom and kitchen cleaning products from the Bower Collective. Fantastic products and you get refillable bottles and pouches are returned FOC for refill and reuse. Highly recommended for shower doors. Anyway, love your finds. Pumpkin and Mittens will love the tassels on your cupboard curtain.
Hello Mr Carrington, i really enjoyed your latest video. i'm glad that you found another starbucks cup. I collect costa coffee cups. Two of which i found in a couple of charity shops. I like the colourful, matching cup and saucer. I expect kate will use it as one of her mugs of the day! Have a lovely week and i look forward to seeing your next video.
I am a retired School Librarian and I do miss my Library, however regular visitor to my local one. Great haul Love the cup and saucer. Also really enjoying Sort your Life out. So glad it's back. Big Hugs for Pumpkin and Mittens who are getting so big now.
Happy Sunday Iwan! Love the memory book (Yes, usually found at funerals), I would decorate the front of it with stencils and colourful acrylic paint. Could be made to look very pretty. I bought one of those heated throws last year and now the exact same one has nearly doubled in price, I think its because everyone is now buying them. (They're great, btw) Same as Air Fryers, mine was £42 last October, its now £69. Its wrong how manufacturers are now jumping on the cost of living bandwagon. Great little video as usual. 💕
We live not far from the Emma Bridgewater factory in stoke-on-trent. Her pieces are beautiful & usually expensive so the cup & saucer is a fab find👍🏼I love it when you go shopping in the charity shops, you always find so many amazing things....
Great haul but have to admit that stairs basket is an unbelievable idea as well as an unbelievable find..I have never seen one of these before and I just think what a genius idea..Will definitely be on the lookout for that basket!
Hi Iwan great video, u got some great bargains there, Kate will b jealous she loves Emma bridgewater the cup & saucer r lovely, the heated blanket will definitely keep u & the kitties warm, take care enjoy the rest of your weekend & have a great week lots of love 💕💕💕
Hi Mr C Fantastic vlog again as always my wife is jealous of your Emma Bridgewater cup and saucer she says you always need a saucer for your biscuits we laughed at your memory book 😂also we have a heated blanket and they are brill like you say there’s no need to put the heating on just wrap yourself up in the blanket that’s until your son comes home and says it’s like a fridge in here I got a bargain at our local charity shop a Next coat in there sale for 50p !! what a bargain and love getting CDs and DVDs thay do any 5 for £1 do you ever get any at your charity shop Loving Sort Your Life Out hope there will be a series 3 🤞Take Care Mr C 👋
Oh, about the perfume samples: I always get some of the perfume I intend to buy full size just to actually WEAR the fragrance. A number of times it turned out not to suit me or proved to be very faint; the samples cost very little and you can really test the fragrance on your skin rather than on a strip of paper. The samples I don't particularly like, are used as air fresheners (unless you really can't stand the smell...).
Please Mr Carrington, can we see more of your two babies. The whole always seem to run away quickly lol so adorable I just want to hug them. I guess them being kittens doesn’t help alway running around play.😊
I love my library been a member since I was a child my kids have been members since they were babies. Just love my library they also do a free app where you can listen to audio books and magazines. Mine has a work hub where you can play board games and Do jigsaws

If I remember correctly Kate has that cup but I doubt she has the saucer. She'll love it because you thought of her. The cats are beauties. 🐱❤

I use the Library all the time. Mainly online, audio books. We also can look at magazines on the site and read them.

I really like the cup and saucer.
