What an incredible story about JohannaBonger. I can’t help but have complete admiration for not only the fact that she had 250 some odd paintings to sell eventually but that she did it in complete solitude, on her own. I admire people in solitude that come up with incredible decisions
Don’t think anyone back then would think of destroying someone’s art. Those at his funeral didn’t think so. They seemed to gobble it afterwards. Do you have a deseased relative artist with 1,000 plus examples of outsider art and a lot of letters/text messages describing each piece? Voila! You may have hit it rich. Just may sure you can out do whatever’s out there to whatever’s considered the replacement. Please let us know. Just want to keep up.
Yes this was fascinating. I have over 300 paintings of my fathers works who was a friend of Francis Bacon and was given a grant by Winston Churchill and showed at the Tate . Long after his death in 2003 I still maintain that he will be great once I get him discovered. Google Harold Arthur Drury

Wonderful documentary.
*Best exhibition I have ever seen was in 2015: 'Van Gogh in Nature', at the Clark Art Institue, Williamstown, MA. US.*
Thank you, as I live close to the Art at Clark here in Massachusetts.
@@lynnmanning2795, I was really lucky as a kid and went to boarding school in the Berkshires. The Clark was a weekly pilgrimage.
@lynnmanning2795 I have tried to visit the Clark art museum several times, and sadly, I have been there when they are closed.
MARAVILHOSO UM DOS MELHORES DOCUMENTARIOS QUE ASSISTI NA MINHA VIDA
This was a fantastic breakdown, I appreciate it!
The last Sunflowers to sell went for 40 million in 1987. Would probably sell for 100 million today.
Two people in comments had Van Goghs. They dont say if they were original or not. it's sad that he was broke when he died. Now he is all about money
Thanks 💕
I was here to see Van Gogh. Not Van Goff! 😕

I've got a van gogh in my living room
People don't realize we're reincarnating. It's easy to understand why someone would say. "No one will like this until 25 years after I'm dead"
You're blessed to have it. 👍
C’est très vrai?
A nice print..!
You have squirrels in your beard.🙃
I read the book Sunflowers which is fiction but had many nonfiction facts in it.
Too upsetting to watch.!!!!
Your video claims Vincent died at 33 yrs old. Actually he was 37.
I had a van gogh, it was stolen

where did vincent get the gun from to shoot himself ?
To many sad hardships for this dedicated love story🩵🩷🩵
This has got to be an AI narration

In history we encountered only two allround artists: Michelangelo and Da Vinci. Not Theo
