this has helped you to undertsand because you have done previous 1 hour, which has set some prime knowledge already. Keep up the reading along side these, reading gives more indept understanding.
Yeah i totally agree, you can't teach someone a topic using terminology from deeper knowledge of the subject. Teachers forget this too much!, Not CertBros!

Studying for my ccna 200-301 exam with virtually zero prior i.t / computer experience and even though I am passed this portion in my studies I wanted a quick refresher course to reaffirm what I had previously learned since I wanted some clarification or a general overview of the topics to jog my memory a bit so thank you very much for providing such valuable and easily understandable content for free!
@@Certbros I actually ended up smashing it, Unfortunately, In my job search it hasn't seemed to make much of a difference working on the SAA-C01 in the mean time but feeling a bit demotivated.
One thing I'd add is once the port channel is up, if you need to make configuration changes don't do them on just a single physical interface at a time or the port channel will come down due to things not matching. Instead make changes on the logical port channel interface and the Cisco device will automatically copy those changes to the physical interface configurations so that you don't take the whole interface down.
Good video and good explanation of LACP from the switch side. I work on rack servers and dealt with an issue of a port-channel being down that was causing unreachability issues for a server. We aren't sure what caused the configuration to go down but once we determined the issue was on the switch side and not the host side, we got the networking team to fix the issue. It was boggling my mind, the on-site technician, and their manager.
This video just helped me troubleshoot my packettracer issue. I was not able to get etherchannel working because the speed mismatch. I was using fastethernet for one port, and gigabit for the other! THANK YOU
i watch all your ccna videos, really like how u explain and visualize on how things work. really helps with my understanding. thanks so much for your services!!
CERTBROS, clear, simple, awesome! love the way you present the concepts specially when there are examples in the CLI, 2 things I would recommend 1. please use the correct names on the CLI modes so people start getting used to the correct cisco naming Exec mode, privilege Exec, Global config etc... and 2. Please a video about trunks, switch trunks. Thank you!!!!
Amazing superb explanation, some people are just born with the ability to explain things and you definitely are one of them. Look forward to more CCNA related vids and thank you very much.
Thank you. Your OSPF video helped a lot. I was able to configure the routing protocol pretty seamlessly after watching your video a few times. I’m going to do the same after this video. I see I’ll have to go back over STP first
Good video. Suggestions though, 1. Do a shut command after int range. 2. Default port command after shut, and config all ports at one time. 3. Do the same on switch 2. Do a no shut on switch 2, then on switch 1.
Do nowadays NIC's not automatically recognize whether the connection needs to be crossover or straight through, and then apply whatever is needed? I'm pretty sure they do
PAgP -> cisco LAC-> vender neutral. just remember that Pag is spanish for "pay up", which makes sense that it is cisco's standard. and according to cisco, it's desirable to pay up // *desirable / desirable* OR *desirable* / auto
Thanks Eric. I cover this in the full course. Load balancing can be done using a number of options. For example, based on dst IP, src IP or dst and src IP. This might help: www.ciscopress.com/articles/article.asp?p=2348266&seqNum=3

Quick question:
Is it possible, that only 1 side uses EtherChannel, thus it would lead to strange problems?
This is very helpful, as a Nigerian cyber security student. Thank you and keep d videos coming

What is MLPPP? Difference between port/ether channel and multilink PPP? Please explain and make Video on it
you could have updated the subtitle as well for the explanation.
If we add 1 more switch and set to etherchannel also, will it be blocked by stp too?
Depending on where you position the switch but yes, STP will block any loops.
