Thanks for the response. All of this you tube interaction is very new to me, so forgive me if awkward . 2 ways I reward kids for doing a good job. #1 have a piece of candy 🍬 or gum or so ( small) that they get unless we have problems.
#2 I catch them behaving well trying/ or showing positive anishative and I let them know that they have a point and swipe my finger in the air. And when it come time to pick a leader or 1st to take a turn I will choose them. I hope that helps. Clint

Great stuff Coach. I think putting the natural role models on a pedestal is super important. @@clintstorey3600

I just started coaching professionally and love when I come across something creative like this. After my own heart. Love this game. Will be doing it for my next class.

I have a similar tracking game that I made up years ago. "Mouse in the house"
I place the students along the baseline with their racquets behind them facing me at the net..
° start by saying students name and roll a ball slowly at first gradually more challenging. The student moves to catch the mouse(ball) before it travels outside the lines of the court. If they catch the mouse in time they place it on their racquet and get ready to be called again. If they don't get it in time they send it back to the pro.
° same idea underhand toss so the ball bounces "rabbits"
    ° high bounces "kangaroo "
    Hope the information helps....

This is a great concept! Thanks for sharing. I’m a coach from Western and Australia and with my students I play a similar game called the Bridge of Doom. Only difference is that it uses a rope ladder and the kids have to line up on it and dodge the balls coming their way. There’s all sorts of danger that comes their way, from the “beehives” (which is basically the raindrops) and the “swooping magpie”, which drops down from above.
    Cheers again for sharing!

It’s the most difficult thing in my opinion to make a kid 5 years old train alone and have fun and laugh during train.
Today the same I watched your video we went for training.
The rabbit 🐇 didn’t manage to hit him.
The snake 🐍 didn’t manage to hit him.The rain 🌧 drops tried and were almost there but didn’t manage to hit him.
      He was so focused.
It was so important for him that nothing would hit him.
He was laughing. He was having fun.
      Thank you coach.
I can’t wait for more great ideas like this one.

Love this idea! How about an "angry bird" that is a ball right at the feet.

Great idea! I’ve totally been using the egg that they have to catch before it bounces twice or everyone has to jump the river!

How about a sloth, roll the ball really slow at them and watch them try to get real close to it. They probably will mess up because of it.
