This video shows you that How to make a Vu (Volume Unit) meter at home, its very easy and simple project without any IC or Transistor, just require some minor components listed below.
Ten LED
Two 1N4007 Diode
Nine 1N4148 Zenor Diode
Ten 330 ohm Resistor
Two 470uF 16V Capacitor

I think the capacitors there will cause a bandpass effect on the speaker - not much, because the capacitance is pretty high so only the lowest frequencies will be cut, but still some. Not to mention the impedance, which will be severely affected.
So a series resistor (some 10-20R) would be better.

Why you used zener diode
The only thing i dont like about ameture youtuber's video is, the overwhelming background music.
FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER
A lot of these DIY channels that doesn't have commentary over it 99% of times will have the overwhelming stock techno music. Doesn't help that most of it is the same ones used over and over. I just mute the video itself
can i use pam8403 audio amp to directly give it amplified input without using speaker.
I want to use it with 5+5w amplifier so definitely it will not work properly so i think can i give vu meter its own seperate audio signal input.
@@MREasyMaker pam8403 is a stereo audio amp of about 3+3w output. Maybe I can fed both of its output directly to vu meter input so it gets amplified audio signal for its working.
