great video and results! is it important to have the hook a certain distance from the bottom of the lake?

Hi there and Thanks! i would say yes, the char is usually going in the bottom layers of waters, so for them if you are thinking more passive fishing method, definetly important to keep it close to bottom. half meter up would say, they are really curious fishes tho, comes to look flashing lures ( red ) =D

@@FishingwithJaska You're welcome. It helped me a lot. Best info in about 4 days of reading. I already found the "Landöblinken -vilkkuvalo punainen", looking for the correct "fly" and hook.

@@WVMbe oh nice. And yeah thats the tough one. Bottom you can use mormyska with wings or something and fly would be something what they eat :)

Thank you very much for your instructional video. I've already ordered some led spinners ;) of course red ones :) I'm going to northern Sweden in March 2023 and I'm already very curious if I'll be able to get at least one arctic charr. There are giant (60+) burbots where I'm going, I wonder if the light will help me catch them? Best regards, I will subscribe to your channel. All the best in the 2023 season.

You are very welcome! i hope you will get atleast one! well for burbot fishing light does not usually work, depends on lake ( they might be all blind ) cause parasite. only noise / water movement and smell. One of best things what i have used was jigheads for seafishing and Roach as the " jig " in it, just hammering that thing on bottom and burbots are intrested :) Thanks for sub! Tight lines for 2023 season !

@@FishingwithJaska Thank you for the hint. I will try using rattle sounds jigs or SG no. 57701 for burbots. From what I know, catfish rattles are also quite good. Anyway, I have something to think about until March. :) Kind regards.
