Starting to play catch up again will be following this Peugeot 4 years standing going to be fun and. Price is it worth the money for parts against value but it’s worth saving
Hi Big Man. 4 years standing. Wow. Glad you got it running and working. As you have said. New tyres and a service, wash, polish and it should be good to go. See you in the next one, 👍👍
Nice video....the coolant in the expansion bottle seemed ok . I owned a 308 diesel and the coolant was exactly the same (color and level). And also the owners handbook of the car was referring that you never change it.
You should be able to put the transit electric window doors on your van with no trouble at all and get them working. They are usually plug and play as the wiring wont change from model to model so the plugs should be hidden in your windy window doors somewhere
Lovely Jubbly, nice find. Spend a little on the dent, door edge and bumper then a really good clean it'll look great, but don't skimp on Chinese tyres.
Looks a half decent car as is even better once serviced and cleaned up.i do like that shade of red pretty good concidering it's been stood I suppose under shelter helped or it could of gone like them cheap faded paint jobbies 👍
I would service it clean it up with a good detail and strip them brakes down and clean up sliders etc and clean off rust off brake discs see how they feel after be a good little car for some one ready for summer
Going by the alloys it’s a sport….. higher spec would be the gt with leather seats. Always keep pliers in the car for the oil cap because it’s always to tight to remove by hand…… mind close the luggage tray for the roof to work
Is the Transit running well and sold now then? You must have a good deal of space, to be able to store all of these "spares or repairs" projects, if the Transit isnt gone?
No I'm keeping it until I have room in the garage to strip down the engine. Luckily enough I have permission off the land owner to keep a few extra cars lol
@Saving salvage - Ay up mate hope your well. I have noticed that you use a Ryobi tool , is that the impact wrench , Have you used it to take off the brake carrier bolts and the hub bearing bolt ? I have to change my bearing hub and I'm not a mechanic but I do know that the brake carrier and the bearing bolts don't come undone easily. It's also the rear drivers of a Audi a3, so limited room and only a trolley Jack and axle stand 😫 . Any tips would also be appreciated . I was looking at the Ryobi wrench in B&Q for £160 and wanted to make sure it would do the job before buying one.
You need the topdon booster start they raise the dead they say there’s going to be a lot of shrinkage with bushes you have got it going well done
13:57 lovely sound when it finally starts up

Sounds good, a camera never makes a diesel sound as it does in real life. I have a _2 door 207 and a 308 with same engine, love the hdi.
Looks a good motor, bit of fun for the summer for someone.
Yeah, I thought the same cheers for watching 👀 👍

@@RevivingSalvage gotta admit i do like a dirty car, so I’m looking forward to the cleaning video on this one ☝️
I got to admit I hate cleaning, especially in the cold, but you do get a sense of satisfaction when they come up clean.
@@RevivingSalvage yeah it’s a great feeling seeing it come up 👍🏻 looking forward to seeing it

We decided that we would split the money when it sells, hopefully 👍
Ah fair enough
Keep the great work up bud
I think head gone on it no water in it was low on compression
Yeah it had water but it wasn't very good antifreeze. It had to build fuel & oil pressure before it would fire up. Runs lovely now
