People have been trying to get “revenge” against Trey Parker and Matt Stone for almost 30 years. I have yet to see anyone really get revenge on them. I’m willing to bet if they didn’t care when the whole Muslim world hated them for Imagination Land and the Mohammed drawing episodes, they REALLY don’t care if KK is pissed.
I'm willing to bet The Powers That Should Not Be allow Parker/Stone to keep doing what they do as sort of a pressure valve, and also as a way to devalue anything they present or think. The franchise was already dead when the "sequels" came out. The Mandalorian, Andor, and the final season of the Clone Wars were the only good thing to come out. Except for those useless diversity episodes in the Clone Wars just to feature Asoka. Those were a waste of resources.

The B story hits me hard. I'm a mechanic, and I am overworked because of it. On the one hand, I do make lots of money, but the downside is I have no downtime. I work 12-14 hours a day, and my vacations are always denied. Not to mention, I have to stop every 3 seconds to check air pressure in tires because no one knows how to.
Yeah... the B story was spot on. We have a terrible time hiring anyone who actually knows how to fix anything. I've been fortunate enough to know a little, and it's usually been EASIER for me to watch UA-cam to learn how to do some electric or plumbing work than actually call someone. I won't do any really dangerous stuff, but little stuff... like Randy's oven door? I'd be fixing that all day, every day. Re-wiring outlets, running new line to the shed or outside, buried safely in PVC, replacing heating coils, replacing sink fixtures, replacing the toilet gasket... it was actually easier for me to learn that stuff than hire a handyman in modern days. No joke.

Great guy... just, didn't have a gift of laying out steps in a clear way or articulating what he was doing. I've learned from some friends as well. I would pay a lot to watch KK and Carano get locked in an octogon fight with no holds barred and see who walks out. That wouldn’t only be entertaining, it would be justice.
The genius of South Park is that the basic issues they point out are correct so can’t be refuted. It’s why no lawsuits against them ever work. It’s called satire and it’s awesome!
I just watched that Panderverse episode to see what all the fuss was about (a little late, I know). I agree and think that they portrayed the 'real' Kathleen Kennedy as quite a sympathetic character that just took a wrong turn and did the lazy way to produce results, instead of putting the work in to udnerstand what she was working with, so when the consequences came to bite her, she learned from it and tried to better herself. Why the actual Kathleen Kennedy is apparently offended by this, I can't really fathom, but it's probably some petty and spiteful reason that lacks any real understanding. 😅
What's worse in all of this is not so much KK's follies but rather the poor, fearful men who followed her for fear of losing their jobs. When she gets fired, or when she resigns, and we see the almost irreparable damage done to everything she touched, those who followed her will, I hope, lose face.
Thanks to Disney's frivolous legal action (attempted) against South Park and Comedy Central, they're making at least 2 more Disney-centric episodes/specials. I'm confident Iger and Feige have theirs coming.

The problem with people like Kennedy is that they don’t know their audience. Women ain’t trying to watch no Star Wars movie, regardless if all the characters are female or not, women enjoy different types of programs and films. They would be better served having “strong” women in those types of films instead of already established franchises. I ain’t a fan of Star Wars but really this is a lose lose for everyone, the studio loses money, the actors get flak, the actual fans lose something they love and the targeted audience and vocal minority don’t watch it. Yeah, I was so surprised by how nice they were to KK, the show ended on such a weak note. Attacking Iger more than KK if I remember correctly in the end sequence. South Park played it like KK would like to change, but it was Iger who would never change, it was lame, as both KK and Iger are nasty pieces of work.

Yes, people had different points were they got off the "Star Wars Train". For me it was around 15 minutes into TFA. It was the way they presented "Rey" as an "independent, strong woman (with no training) who didn't need help from anyone". Also the first time you see Rey's face or Finn's face was when they removed their head covers (almost like a shampoo commercial). It was obviously lazy writing. Then it went on to retell "A New Hope" only badly. What a disaster of a movie.
@@josephupton3601 I agree. I failed to do full due diligence, so I was actually expecting to see the story of Han and Luke and Leia continued. This was presented as advertising bait in a classic bait-and-switch, and I was caught. It wasn't too far into the movie when I realized that Rey was meant to be the new Luke Skywalker replacement, and that Disney's Star Wars would go full-on woke. I'm amazed that it took some other people so long to see it.
I watched the sequels and tried to enjoy them for what they were. I did, but after I'd re-watch the originals and be in 7-9, I grew to really hate them. They didn't feel like Star Wars. I don't necessarily have a problem with Daisy or Rey, but damn, it's just all terrible.

After seeing the last jedi I walked away and haven’t regretted it especially since seeing how badly kk and company keeps driving it into the ground. It’s to the point that not only have they killed the franchise but are repeatedly desecrating its corpse
I walked away after the Farce Awakens hit the screens. I couldn't believe what I had just watched. I was so disheartened and so pissed at the same time thought best to sever ties with anything Disney star wars. I was proven correct by my decision. I haven't spent a single penny on any of their tainted products since. I'm proud of that fact.
Ditto. I never saw the following, third installment (which name I can't even remember now. I just don't care anymore). Only thing good about the sequels is that they made the prequels so much better.
I tried caring about The Mandolorian, but it was just dull most of the time. The only Star Wars thing I've actually sought out and enjoyed since The Last Jedi is Andor. It's a slow burn for some, but I loved that about it. Gave time for me to actually get to know and care about all the flawed, morally grey characters away from the light side/ dark side nonsense, as well as showing how ordinary people on both sides responded to the Empire's strict but sloppy bureaucratic grasp. Only good thing to come out of Lucasfilm in close to a decade.
Girls had Barbie and Sindy, boys had GI Joe and Star Wars, girls had romance comics, magazines, boys had superhero, war comics, (not saying there were no girls that like this stuff, but the majority in early days). Boys comics were successful and Star Wars was, especially the toys. Then man haters come along and think we want what you've got, even though, they were not the ones who bought all these comics and toys in the 60's, 70's, 80's and made them the success that they are. They think they can come along, just because it's popular and take it for themselves and f over the fans that made these things that are the success that they are and if we had not made them the success that they are, these woke, man hating ideologists would have no interest in any of these franchises whatsoever, but because they are so popular, they want to use our platforms, that we have made successful from buying all their stuff to swamp us with their horrible ideologies none of us as fans are interested in and then attack us when we don't watch or buy the garbage they keep trying to force down our throats!

The episode let the wider world see the shroud slipping when it comes to the cancer of wokeness. It's a silly show but in its silliness it has shined a light on the absurdity of modern Hollywood.

I cant escape the thought that Disney despises Star Wars, Marvel and all its back catalogue. Any maroon could have seen how the " Men are morons and women are girl bosses" message was not working. Not one person stopped KK, so their plan must be to tank the entire company. Nobody is that stupid so as far as i am concerned it is a planned and concerted effort. I think the reason they went after Star Wars instead of Marvel is because given their age they have more of a personal connection to the former. I'm around their age and I know it breaks my heart to see what's become of Star Wars, a franchise I grew up with and loved. Star Wars was a huge part of my childhood. Whereas while I've enjoyed some of the Marvel films, I don't really have that much of a vested interest in them. Like Matt and Trey, I was in my 30s when the first Marvel films started coming out. Long past the age to have the toys or be playing Marvel on the school yard. There's just not the personal connection there that I have with Star Wars, so that one hurts more. Star Wars (before it became A New Hope) was literally the first film I ever saw.
The Last Jedi made it so that the universe would've been better off if Han, Luke and Leia had just died and lost... because, the net gain for those heroes by the end of The Last Jedi was that the one kid Han and Leia had, the one surviving Jedi trained by Luke, was the dude who killed Han, murdered TRILLIONS in the biggest on screen genocide in movie history at the end of TFA, and Luke quit and went to depression island before he died of tiredness to 'buy time' for the .01% of rebels that survived the movie. Don't forget, just after the death of trillions, Rian Johnson started The Last Jedi with a prank call to Hux... a prank call, after EVERYONE died.

I like South Park, but I'm not going to pretend that they aren't controlled and biased. Not only have they been a bit weak in making fun of the woke, but they made a bunch of good episodes digging on Trump but they haven't even attempted to dig on the most comedic and laughable political clown ever, Joe Biden.

The episode was funny. Yet a major problem I has was with the cop out ending where they pulled their punches by using Eric as a strawman. It was lame and gay. Edit: Maybe I was nitpicking a little too much. They did have balls for making the jokes they did.

This episode basically guaranteed that Kennedy would never be fired, that she will die as head of LucasFilm and Disney will throw her a Pharaonic funeral because firing her would mean capitulating to the ists and the phobes and South Park.
I have to disagree here.... they did go after Iger, in a huge way, by pointing out that KK has him in her purse. He was afraid of her in the episode. So was the board. That's a huge punch in the gut

I actually think this is kind of a warning shot to Iger and Feige. Even without focusing on them, it still exposes the problems with their philosophies and the damage it caused to a major brand. Going after Kennedy is a safe target, because she's been all but fired from Lucasfilm, and neither Disney nor the press will do much to defend her at this point. However, the uneducated now know what to look for, and Disney knows that South Park can go after them at any time if they keep failing. I think Iger and Feige saw this and gulped, because now they know a blueprint to humiliate them exists.

I tend to like stuff like star wars for feminine reasons though. I find the whole Luke trying to save his father's soul being cute and how this big villain Darth Vader's only weakness is his family. Don't get me wrong I like the other stuff too like the spirituality/ world of star wars and the characters. I also do like feminine things but typically not what's popular. I like old love stories like Jane Eyre for example.

I'd imagine Luke would be much warmer to a baby (Think like an uncle/fatherly. Luke is a hero after all. He's kind to R2. How much more a small child? and how much more touched would he be by a baby that looks like master yoda?) Perhaps blame it on the bad cgi but Luke also should have been visibly touched in the end of Mandalorian season 2 when mando was taking off his mask to look at his 'son' considering the parallels of Luke and Anakin before Anakin's death. But hey star wars has Luke throwing his dad's lightsaber over his shoulder like trash.
I feel that they concentrated on KK because they needed to put in the carvings of the tombstone for SW as to who killed it and to let it be known as the confirmation by all and in the future when people analyze this dark era. Iger and Feige, they will have theirs soon and I think Matt and Trey are just waiting for that opportunity... and I think it will be the end of Disney. Just my guess but would be a kick ass episode to include.
I agree, the problem with trying to expose everyone is that you only have so much time and space to get the creativity across the board. Also I think Andre is forgetting that why attack them just once, when you can create paranoia and come at them again and again at multiple direction. Companies can smell the blood in the water coming from Disney. They are financially strapped, their park attendance is dropping, they are still having legal battles in Florida. They have to come off of Billions to pay for Hulu. The stock is going up and down like a cheap pole dancer. They have people like Nelson Peltz ready to remind stock investors of the financial disaster Disney has suffered under Iger's watch. I think we can look forward to more specials from South Park.

She's effectively getting Yezhov'd, Yagoda'd, Beria'd, Abakumov'd, whichever high ranking Party member that fell from power that you'd want to use as an example. I don't know if I would blame Kevin Feighe 100% for Marvel's failings. The difference to me between KK &KF is this. Phases 1,2, and 3 were not woke under KF, but for KK.it was all about wokeness. Phase 4&5 was when Bob and Disney's board pushed for DEI in all projects. We know KF didn't fight against it, and KK took the ball and ran for the touchdown but got tackled on the 1yrd line. What would phase 4&5 be like if DEI wasn't being pushed down KF's throat. Would the shows and movies be better?
South Park was behind the times, this was relevant a year or two ago when Disney first launched phase 4 and the M she U. But rather late than never and I'm glad this is at least calling attention to the blatant subversion and sexism against men in modern day Disney and Lucasfilm.
Gina Carano's crime is being a VERY strong female character who was both believable and not contemptuous of all men. I absolutely loved her characters, and while I disagreed with some of her covid views (a) that's the actress not the character, and (b) I don't actually KNOW she was wrong about it.
Kennedy deserved this humiliation more than anyone. They can always have Iger as the bad guy of the sequel to this. Honestly I'm not thinking of Disney or Marvel, or Lucasfilm trying to fix anything it is too late as far as I'm concerned. They would have to make multiple new movies and shows on the level of The Lion King, Kim Possible, and Phineas and Ferb to draw me back. I'm just glad for what we had and I'm now I'm focused on all the great Anime and Web Novels from Japan! I've recently been rewatching Studio Ghibli classics I got a good sale on a box set 24 movies for 40 dollars. As for web novels my personal recommendations are Reincarnated as a Sword and Tearmoon Empire those stories changed my life! And many others like them!!! Oh it was so satisfying to see KK get roasted by South Park! LOL 😆 LOL
If they re-made Phineas and Ferb, they'd be two trans-gender black/Hispanic kids with rainbow hair, and there'd be no inventions or imagination, they'd complain about capitalism and the patriarchy the whole show. I watched the South Park episode. I was in a terrible mood. Within a few minutes I was laughing hysterically and was in a much better mood. No other show can do that. This is what I used to pay Disney for. I think Disney forgot this.
I just saw it and found an epic troll by South Park. When you watch it, note the phone numbers on the handyman vehicles and call the numbers. You get a busy signal. Which is perfect and hilarious when you think about it in the context of the B plot of the show. Brilliant!
Best thing all content creators can do is diversify their content across as many platforms as possible, and not despair at the small viewing numbers on some of them. Keep posting content and see what happens over time. YT is at war with its creators and is doing its utmost to choke your reach, while also warring with the viewers by forcing ads or having to pay to remove them, which is driving viewers away. Encourage viewers to view, or at least sub, to your content on other platform because yt is not going to be doing you, or us, any favors.

I'm a mechanic, and I am overworked because of it. On the one hand, I do make lots of money, but the downside is I have no downtime.
I work 12-14 hours a day, and my vacations are always denied. Not to mention, I have to stop every 3 seconds to check air pressure in tires because no one knows how to.
Yeah... the B story was spot on. We have a terrible time hiring anyone who actually knows how to fix anything. I've been fortunate enough to know a little, and it's usually been EASIER for me to watch UA-cam to learn how to do some electric or plumbing work than actually call someone. I won't do any really dangerous stuff, but little stuff... like Randy's oven door? I'd be fixing that all day, every day. Re-wiring outlets, running new line to the shed or outside, buried safely in PVC, replacing heating coils, replacing sink fixtures, replacing the toilet gasket... it was actually easier for me to learn that stuff than hire a handyman in modern days. No joke.

I just watched that Panderverse episode to see what all the fuss was about (a little late, I know).
I agree and think that they portrayed the 'real' Kathleen Kennedy as quite a sympathetic character that just took a wrong turn and did the lazy way to produce results, instead of putting the work in to udnerstand what she was working with, so when the consequences came to bite her, she learned from it and tried to better herself.
Why the actual Kathleen Kennedy is apparently offended by this, I can't really fathom, but it's probably some petty and spiteful reason that lacks any real understanding. 😅
What's worse in all of this is not so much KK's follies but rather the poor, fearful men who followed her for fear of losing their jobs. When she gets fired, or when she resigns, and we see the almost irreparable damage done to everything she touched, those who followed her will, I hope, lose face.
Thanks to Disney's frivolous legal action (attempted) against South Park and Comedy Central, they're making at least 2 more Disney-centric episodes/specials. I'm confident Iger and Feige have theirs coming.

The problem with people like Kennedy is that they don’t know their audience. Women ain’t trying to watch no Star Wars movie, regardless if all the characters are female or not, women enjoy different types of programs and films. They would be better served having “strong” women in those types of films instead of already established franchises.
I ain’t a fan of Star Wars but really this is a lose lose for everyone, the studio loses money, the actors get flak, the actual fans lose something they love and the targeted audience and vocal minority don’t watch it. Yes, people had different points were they got off the "Star Wars Train". For me it was around 15 minutes into TFA. It was the way they presented "Rey" as an "independent, strong woman (with no training) who didn't need help from anyone". Also the first time you see Rey's face or Finn's face was when they removed their head covers (almost like a shampoo commercial). It was obviously lazy writing. Then it went on to retell "A New Hope" only badly. What a disaster of a movie.

This was presented as advertising bait in a classic bait-and-switch, and I was caught. It wasn't too far into the movie when I realized that Rey was meant to be the new Luke Skywalker replacement, and that Disney's Star Wars would go full-on woke. I'm amazed that it took some other people so long to see it.
I watched the sequels and tried to enjoy them for what they were. I did, but after I'd re-watch the originals and be in 7-9, I grew to really hate them. They didn't feel like Star Wars. I don't necessarily have a problem with Daisy or Rey, but damn, it's just all terrible.

I tried caring about The Mandolorian, but it was just dull most of the time. The only Star Wars thing I've actually sought out and enjoyed since The Last Jedi is Andor. It's a slow burn for some, but I loved that about it. Gave time for me to actually get to know and care about all the flawed, morally grey characters away from the light side/ dark side nonsense, as well as showing how ordinary people on both sides responded to the Empire's strict but sloppy bureaucratic grasp. Only good thing to come out of Lucasfilm in close to a decade.
Girls had Barbie and Sindy, boys had GI Joe and Star Wars, girls had romance comics, magazines, boys had superhero, war comics, (not saying there were no girls that like this stuff, but the majority in early days). Boys comics were successful and Star Wars was, especially the toys. Then man haters come along and think we want what you've got, even though, they were not the ones who bought all these comics and toys in the 60's, 70's, 80's and made them the success that they are. I think the reason they went after Star Wars instead of Marvel is because given their age they have more of a personal connection to the former. I'm around their age and I know it breaks my heart to see what's become of Star Wars, a franchise I grew up with and loved. Star Wars was a huge part of my childhood. Whereas while I've enjoyed some of the Marvel films, I don't really have that much of a vested interest in them. Like Matt and Trey, I was in my 30s when the first Marvel films started coming out. Long past the age to have the toys or be playing Marvel on the school yard. There's just not the personal connection there that I have with Star Wars, so that one hurts more. Star Wars (before it became A New Hope) was literally the first film I ever saw.

The episode was funny. Yet a major problem I has was with the cop out ending where they pulled their punches by using Eric as a strawman. It was lame and gay. Edit: Maybe I was nitpicking a little too much. They did have balls for making the jokes they did.

This episode basically guaranteed that Kennedy would never be fired, that she will die as head of LucasFilm and Disney will throw her a Pharaonic funeral because firing her would mean capitulating to the ists and the phobes and South Park.

I have to disagree here.... they did go after Iger, in a huge way, by pointing out that KK has him in her purse. He was afraid of her in the episode. So was the board. That's a huge punch in the gut

I actually think this is kind of a warning shot to Iger and Feige. Even without focusing on them, it still exposes the problems with their philosophies and the damage it caused to a major brand. Going after Kennedy is a safe target, because she's been all but fired from Lucasfilm, and neither Disney nor the press will do much to defend her at this point. However, the uneducated now know what to look for, and Disney knows that South Park can go after them at any time if they keep failing. I think Iger and Feige saw this and gulped, because now they know a blueprint to humiliate them exists.

I tend to like stuff like star wars for feminine reasons though. I find the whole Luke trying to save his father's soul being cute and how this big villain Darth Vader's only weakness is his family. Don't get me wrong I like the other stuff too like the spirituality/ world of star wars and the characters. I also do like feminine things but typically not what's popular. I like old love stories like Jane Eyre for example.

I'd imagine Luke would be much warmer to a baby (Think like an uncle/fatherly. Luke is a hero after all. He's kind to R2. How much more a small child? and how much more touched would he be by a baby that looks like master yoda?) Perhaps blame it on the bad cgi but Luke also should have been visibly touched in the end of Mandalorian season 2 when mando was taking off his mask to look at his 'son' considering the parallels of Luke and Anakin before Anakin's death. But hey star wars has Luke throwing his dad's lightsaber over his shoulder like trash.

I feel that they concentrated on KK because they needed to put in the carvings of the tombstone for SW as to who killed it and to let it be known as the confirmation by all and in the future when people analyze this dark era. Iger and Feige, they will have theirs soon and I think Matt and Trey are just waiting for that opportunity... and I think it will be the end of Disney. Just my guess but would be a kick ass episode to include.

I agree, the problem with trying to expose everyone is that you only have so much time and space to get the creativity across the board. Also I think Andre is forgetting that why attack them just once, when you can create paranoia and come at them again and again at multiple direction. Companies can smell the blood in the water coming from Disney. They are financially strapped, their park attendance is dropping, they are still having legal battles in Florida. They have to come off of Billions to pay for Hulu. The stock is going up and down like a cheap pole dancer. They have people like Nelson Peltz ready to remind stock investors of the financial disaster Disney has suffered under Iger's watch. I think we can look forward to more specials from South Park.

South Park should have went harder. They kinda chickened out to follow a handyman plot. The roast were so soft. Kathleen Kennedy being swapped by an AU Cartman so nothing was her fault. The way it was phrased "only a few months ago" like only now is she making bad calls. Also having a weird moment where Cartman(as the audience) apologies to her was just weird.

It makes more sense for South Park to go after KK than Iger because KK has made it well known what project she has had a hand in and has gone around announcing many projects. It's hard to specifically credit the creations to Iger, even if he is overseeing the entire company. But of course you can't do another Spielberg and Lucas on Indy.

This episode wasn't a roast of Kathleen Kennedy. It was a full-blown flame grilling.
Compared to the way they went after George Lucas and Steven Spielberg in the past, it was a mild tickling.
If anything, they let Kathleen Kennedy off too easy, giving her the excuse that her horrible behavior was driven by Cartman being a toxic fan. She's proving in real life that no woke person can ever take any kind of constructive criticism... because that's truthfully what this was. South Park pointed out EXACTLY why Disney is losing money on their terrible, creatively bankrupt, gender swapping re-makes. If anyone had an ounce of a brain at Disney, they'd fully comprehend that they're the problem here, and make changes to fix it... but woke people are entitled bigots, out to destroy the world, and can't ever learn from a mistake, they only EVER double down.

But it's out in the open in a well received episode of mainstream media, Bob Iger can't pretend it's all a conspiracy between trolls and Ron DeSantis, and the solution is more advertising becauae people have just forgotten about all these totally great Disney productions. Smart move on the South Park guys' part. It's an angled enough shot near to the Supreme Chairmen but not so direct as to force direct retaliation. In fact it's doing them a solid by helping set up the public acceptance of dropping someone they probably (and collectively) want gone by now.
I don't know if I would blame Kevin Feighe 100% for Marvel's failings. The difference to me between KK &KF is this. Phases 1,2, and 3 were not woke under KF, but for KK.it was all about wokeness. Phase 4&5 was when Bob and Disney's board pushed for DEI in all projects. We know KF didn't fight against it, and KK took the ball and ran for the touchdown but got tackled on the 1yrd line. What would phase 4&5 be like if DEI wasn't being pushed down KF's throat. Would the shows and movies be better?

Gina Carano's crime is being a VERY strong female character who was both believable and not contemptuous of all men. I absolutely loved her characters, and while I disagreed with some of her covid views (a) that's the actress not the character, and (b) I don't actually KNOW she was wrong about it.
It's not just disney but politico they show the same movies for yrs and refuse to show anything new.

Kennedy deserved this humiliation more than anyone. They can always have Iger as the bad guy of the sequel to this. Honestly I'm not thinking of Disney or Marvel, or Lucasfilm trying to fix anything it is too late as far as I'm concerned. They would have to make multiple new movies and shows on the level of The Lion King, Kim Possible, and Phineas and Ferb to draw me back. I'm just glad for what we had and I'm now I'm focused on all the great Anime and Web Novels from Japan! I've recently been rewatching Studio Ghibli classics I got a good sale on a box set 24 movies for 40 dollars. As for web novels my personal recommendations are Reincarnated as a Sword and Tearmoon Empire those stories changed my life! And many others like them!!! Oh it was so satisfying to see KK get roasted by South Park! LOL 😆 LOL
If they re-made Phineas and Ferb, they'd be two trans-gender black/Hispanic kids with rainbow hair, and there'd be no inventions or imagination, they'd complain about capitalism and the patriarchy the whole show. I watched the South Park episode. I was in a terrible mood. Within a few minutes I was laughing hysterically and was in a much better mood. No other show can do that. This is what I used to pay Disney for. I think Disney forgot this.

I just saw it and found an epic troll by South Park. When you watch it, note the phone numbers on the handyman vehicles and call the numbers. You get a busy signal. Which is perfect and hilarious when you think about it in the context of the B plot of the show. Brilliant!

Best thing all content creators can do is diversify their content across as many platforms as possible, and not despair at the small viewing numbers on some of them. Keep posting content and see what happens over time. YT is at war with its creators and is doing its utmost to choke your reach, while also warring with the viewers by forcing ads or having to pay to remove them, which is driving viewers away. Encourage viewers to view, or at least sub, to your content on other platform because yt is not going to be doing you, or us, any favors.
