The group broke up after Synchronicity, Sting released a solo album. There was never going to be another Police album. Soz to burst your bubble.

I guess Sing is Sting.. By the way, Copeland is American.

I imagined that the three did not publish anything as soloists between 1983 and 1987 and I selected the songs that in my opinion are closest to the Police sound. In 1986 we know that due to the accident that happened to Copeland nothing more was done about the release of a new album: the only thing that came out was a different version of "Don't stand so close to me" and (released later) a different version of "De do do do de da da da". What would a new Police album have been like? A return to the past? (I doubt it). A copy of Synchronicity? (that's not like them). Maybe they would have released an album with more use of keyboards (maybe calling Jean Alain Roussel already present on "Every little thing she does is magic"?). I imagined that Sting, who in reality according to Summers did not want to write new material for the band after the successful release of his solo work, we left more space to his companions in the composition but that the disagreements already present in the recording of Synchronicity have increased leading to the composition of an album divided into 3 parts: the first with compositions by Copeland: the first track along the lines of "Synchronicity I", the second a reggae-tinged song, the third more jam-like and the fourth more pop rock; the central part with compositions by Sting (chosen from official alternative versions) including "Fortress around your heart" which is said to have been written for the Police and "Be still my beating heart" in which Summers appears on guitar; the final part with compositions by Summers including two instrumentals that complete this imaginative album. It should be noted that in the first track "Love lessons" some people seem to notice Sting's voice in the background in the first verse after the chorus. The fact is that, in my opinion, with the Amnesty International concert in 1986 when Sting in Invisible Sun invited Bono from U2 on stage it seemed like a passing of the baton...
