Good video. I also have small wrists. Seemed to me you had a lot of band left around and the end sticking out a lot, no way to secure the end down? Looks like it could snag on objects...other than that beautiful watch.
No multiband and that boring case back instead of the sick gravity master ones of old is a deal breaker for me. Lack of any sensor feels like a cop out too. All the look of a gravity master but no functionality. I know it's a completely league of watch but the GPW-2000 laughs at this.
The GPW-2000 is in a whole different price category though...2.5 x. To me, the GPW-2000 overlaps into MT-G category, and Casio probably wants more separation between Master of G and the MT-G and MR-G to maximize market share. This Gravity Master will capture more of the entry-level crowd, who, Casio hopes, will later graduate to the more expensive MT-G and MR-G models. Not unlike what Mercedes and BMW started doing a few years back, with some of their more "affordable" entry-level models. Some purists said it cheapened the brand, but, hey, people bought them, and bought into the brand.
Sadly Casio have been downgrading the Gravitymaster ever since the GPW-2000 in my opinion. The GPW-2000 was something special and one of the few G-Shocks with 3 Way Sync.
Great video, i like your vids but can I make one polite suggestion- please turn off your purple/pink lighting because it gives a completely false colour of the watches, there was a close up part of the video when it was normal lighting for a short period and it was so much better as it showed the watch in its true black colour not the purple tinge as in the rest of the video, cheers mate and keep the videos coming (with normal lighting!! Ha ha) 👍🏻 Oh and by the way why the hell have Casio moved the mode button???????? That would drive me crazy 🤪
I am interested in the GR-B300 but after reading the comments below, I would like to get a GPW-2000. Can anyone here tell me what they think of buying an old one? Can the battery be depleted on the aftermarket ones?
Meh... It would be great without those subdials. Just plane black. And no LED light, but plenty of lume layers. I just want a classic simple analog watch, within a G-shock protection case, solar powered and with multiband 6. But I doubt I'll ever see that during my life. The latest MR-G is close, but I'd never waste so much money on a watch.
I got you. Here are some options: 1. MSG-W100CB 2. OCW-T200SB 3. OCW-S100SB Remember, the new MRG is just a start, Casio will recycle that same movement into a lower priced model.
@@gshockhighfashion Thank you for recommendations, but MSG lacks in size, and still has LCD display(s). And Oceanus is rather an elegant watch, without G-shock protection/ruggedness. Of course, the only way is to wait for Casio designers to come to their mind.
I really cant pull the trigger on it even though I want the affordable dials. They will finally give you it but you gotta deal with wierdo mode button placement. lol. I mean, It has its reasons. But, also its huge compared to the mtgb3000. I duno if I would rather have 3 of these or 1 of those. hahaha
I've never had a Gravitymaster, but I love Master of G. This looks like a fantastic watch.

I need to go and get new glasses.
Do you have GA-1100? Master of G

Gpw2000 still the goat 🤟

@@cpl8168 i bought mine for only 130 pound so there are deals to be found out there.
Looks great, definitely keen on getting one of these 👍
Go for it!
How load is the alarm
Are they cheapening out on the Gravity Master?
Does seem like it.
Very nice watch what i do like a lot about it is the think that you can read time very easy and fast from this big white hands on dark blue dial 🔥😍
Agree!
The autofocus is struggling a little there 😁 Still enjoyed your video.
Sorry about that
I was a Gravitymaster fan, heartbroken to see this new model 😢 Thanks for showing us 🙏
😢
Can you explain why?

I'm pretty sure that's a completely different line of gravitymaster. My guess is they'll probably release a successor to that one later.

I made a couple videos of the gpw2000 before and to this day, you can look up in my channel page, that watch is still the best.
@@gshockhighfashion Thanks so much for your reply. I think that I maybe able to buy a boxed one from a UK dealer.
that depth of field effect was very distracting and annoying.
Will work on it

jk i found one 25% off. this is my first buy since the ggb100.
even though it is the mtgb3000 with a cop out battery dial instead of dual 24 hour hands.
