Sheldon has evolved into a better person in the show. You got to mention how he sang to Amy when she’s having a panic attack.
Penny suddenly realizing Amy was her best friend, then telling her so after demanding to be her maid of honor. You could tell by Amy's response that was the first time in her life someone said she was their best friend.
I love Sheldon's reaction to her being in her wedding dress, it really does show how much he loves her

I loved the episode when the food in Howard's refrigerator was in danger of being completely lost and the gang had a giant feast...with some sincere emotions during discovering what was in there, during the feast, and the slow digestion afterwards.
Eating the last food of a beloved person you lost can be very emotional.

I absolutely love Penny and Sheldon's relationship. They have that brother sister love and its wonderful.
The smile on Amy's face when she has had her "birthday gift" is priceless.
Sheldon lost his father at 14, so he was the only one in the group to lose a parent before Howard's mom died. Being the only one who had lost a parent, he knew how it felt and was the one who could have empathy Howard.
Sheldon's speech was very touching as he really grew in this scene
Howard really was so sweet when he sang to bernadette. I teared up when I first saw it.
The scene when Sheldon sees Amy in her wedding dress is my favorite. I cry every time I see that scene, because it's just so authentic, heartfelt and kind. We need more people like Sheldon in this world when he's with Amy.
Penny's gift of Leonard Nimoy's DNA and Amy's gift of Meemaw's cookies deserve more than an honorable mention.

I always felt that as an apology, she should have given the napkin to Leonard for making him feel like trash, and being a slut. Honestly, he had every right to yell at her, and it could have been a learning lesson for her, that she gave up on her and him too soon, and that his comment about “community college”, wasn’t supposed to be an insult to her intelligence. What is wrong with this girl?

#1 will always be hard to watch. i lost both my parents a year apart & hearing this broke me. worst part is that i didn't know the actress actually died in real life so this came out of left field. anyone else cry during this?
At the time, I merely cried bc of the acting and the fact that I DID know the actress had passed away. However, somewhat similar to what you described (altho I would never compare what you went thru!!) my father got ill in 2017 and passed away late 2019. And at this point in time, we already knew that my mother was clearly having problems and as I type this, she is in the middle stages of Alzheimer’s. It’s almost frightening to watch a parent disappear day by day (I’ve lived with her for over a decade now) and watching both of them like that was horrifying.
Rewatching the scene re Howie’s mom turned me into a weeping hysterical mess.
But I would like to send my condolences to you and your family for your losses. Like I said, each person’s experience is unique to them and I don’t know if I would (or could) deal w losing both parents within 12 months. 😭🕊️💔

I loved Amy and Sheldon admiring their love for each other was sweet, as was when they had their first time.
One of the greatest shows ever. It’s even up there with Breaking Bad.

Howard's song to Bernadette while she's in quarantine still makes me teary despite the fact that I've seen it dozens of times.
My favorite is probably "You look like a pile of swans" because Sheldon is the most honest character in the show - brutally, painfully honest, most of the time. Any compliment that one person gives another almost always has the undercurrent of possible insincerity, obligation, or obsequiousness. With Sheldon, compliments were always genuine, which is why some of his compliments are really insults, and others are weird like "She's like the dryer sheets of my heart!" The "pile of swans" simile is such a strange, but very sweet, way of saying "You are beautiful," and it gave Amy the confidence to build her wedding to HER tastes, not her friends'.
I love Raj & Lucy's relationship so much I shed a tear when they broke up.
Sheldon’s speech on final show will always be my favourite, but a close 2nd is when Penny gives Sheldon the Christmas gift!
Penny's box of memories definitely causes a tear every time I see it.
I’d add the time Sheldon and Penny were taking the magazine quiz about relationships. I teased up during that scene.
Even though I'd never wear something so extravagant, I liked Amy's wedding dress. She looked like a Little House character.
Also, hearing Sheldon use a bird simile to describe something/someone as beautiful is kinda strange, due to his ornithophobia.

To be fair, he had actually made progress with that particular phobia, going so far as to actually holding a bird and wanting to keep it as a pet until it flew away. He was at least able to acknowledge their beauty, even if he still feared handling them. So it makes since that he would admire the swan's beauty at least from a distance.
I was iffy about Amy’s wedding dress but then it reminded me of Gone with the Wind and I loved it 😂
The scene where Sheldon tells Howard will be a good father should have been an honourable mention

TBBT was really a moving show. And I'm glad that Howard's space adventure is finally not being overlooked by this channel.
By the way, why is nobody talking about Amy finally becoming attractive at the end of the show? Everyone complains about Raj staying alone or Penny's last name staying secret but forgets that there were other resolutions which were fulfilled, like Amy's styling and the elevator.
Amy has always been beautiful but I think she got more confident and comfortable with herself. Hence, her “makeover” of sorts

That top spot deservedly belongs there. It’s simple, poignant and out of all the characters, it’s best depicted by Sheldon as he’s the heart and soul of this series as he journeys life with his group of friends.
Sheldon might be a jerk, but I always knew deep down he had a heart of gold!

I adore Sheldon’s response to Amy’s dress & his comment to Howard when his mother passed away. The song to Bernadette tho stands out in my mind as one of the sweetest on the show (which is remarkable to me, only bc of my extreme bias towards Shamy.) Two things missing, IMO, were when the guys returned home to hear their GFs arguing abt a comic book. They almost went into shock. And when Sheldon realized Amy would date other guys without a commitment, he went to the movies to ask her to be his GF. Except 1st time w four double negatives. The whole scene was adorable!

I really hope they do a sequel to the big bang theory after young sheldon ends. I would like it to be set several years after the end of the big bang theory when everyone has kids and what not. It would be amazing if Paige Swanson was a series regular on that show. I could imagine that she passed up a life of higher education and science to have a successful marriage and family life. Sheldon could regularly criticize the idea that she gave up her opportunities, yet is continuously frustrated by the fact that despite that she is still smarter than him and often comes out on top during their debates.

Unraveling The Mystery: A Big Bang Farewell
When Penny says she loves Leonard and then realizes what she said; that makes me cry.
They were all great actors because comedy is not easy to pull off and there is no great acting without the ability to manufacture tears. They all did it so very well.
I'd put Sheldon's Nobel speech at #1 Howard's Mother dying at 2, and Sheldon thanking his Dad, after seeing the tape at 3....all based on how much tissue I go through, no matter how often I watch them. The others are all good though.
I can't watch the scene of him offering comforting words to Howard without tearing up.
I clicked this video thinking "if Penny's box of memories isn't on this list, I will unsubscribe" 🤣🤣

My favorite is when Sheldon finally tells Amy, in Season 8, that he loves her without her saying it first.
#7 and #4 should have been way higher on the list I think .... Or was I the only one bawling during those scenes???? But #1 was for sure the NUMBER ONE moment because the actress that played Howie's mom passed away in real life from cancer and this episode and the one where the food is unfreezing are tributes to the actress.
When Howard's mom died it was a really sad moment, but more because of the actress per say, because Howard joked so many times about his mom's death, he mistreated her so much that for me was a bit strange when he got upset with the news.
Just because Howard couldn't stand living with his mother it does not mean he didn't love her.
Did you expect him to jump up for joy and sing Hava Nagila? His Mom died!! I have known people who literally hate their moms break down and cry when they find out about their mother's death. It's a natural reaction.
@Christopher Bingham like I said, a child might literally hate their parents but when they actually die, especially all of a sudden like Howard's mom did, it is but natural for grief to take over.

I didn't have a close relationship with my father, yet one of the most painful things to me was when he passed away last year. I wasn't ready for it yet (I think we never are). So of course you will grief if you lose one of your parents.
Howard's jokes often seemed to cover for the kind of relationship they had. Maybe due to the fact he had grown up without a father. Some were really mean, yes, and there are many moments I didn't like his character or couldn't relate to him but his reaction to his mother's death is probably one I could relate to the most if I'd re-watch the series.
I never understood why penny and Bernadette didn't like Amy's dress, it really was beautiful, like ingals family with a dash of happily ever after
