- I'm Raxxanterax and I make Build Guides, Leveling Guides, Tier Lists and More for Diablo 4, Last Epoch, Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2. The hype for the Necropolis League is in the air, so I wanted to compile some of my highlights from the Affliction League. From the highs to lows, big crafts to insane finds, here was my journey through my first POE League.

He achieved so much in 3 weeks and it literally translates to the insane dopamine levels you see on stream. Best promotion of POE to first time players.

@@dmitrijsmironovs7513 bro played 12+ hours a day for over a month. Last season was my friend's first time playing POE, and he played 200+ hours, dropped (and duped 1) 4x mirrors, several headhunters, and several other tier 0 uniques. Last league was an anomaly
For those couple years i watch Raxx streaming and doing youtube content, he never was happier than playing PoE, nice to see
i stopped asking what's wrong the PoE community eons ago and assimilated. "Scrototem" is one of my chars names.
Love that I've got just over 1k hours in poe, been playing on and off for 6+ years...and you have still gotten further than me in a single league.
This is the most happy I've ever seen Raxx

This video is the reason we are all playing PoE. At the same time it's invoking emtions you will never experiance playing some other new "popular" ARPG :D
Even being unfamiliar with how good or rare these items are, I have fun watching him get excited and see the chat explode.

Yea but keep in mind that Rax is using streamer client like other streamers so... For sure he will have nice drops anyway.
Said this during last nights stream.....as someone who has played since closed beta, I am unsure if watching Raxx's journey in HCSSF will be more enjoyable than actually playing the league myself :D

Glad you enjoyed it. Hope for many more highlights and that POE2 doesn't require an encyclopedia of knowledge so that I can enjoy it too.

New players watching this: last league had a lot of inflated drop rate due to the league mechanic. you probably wont see loot explosions like this in the next league.
You picked the right league to try out POE Raxx. I made more this league than in all my previous 10 years combined. It was insane.
as a long term POE player, I laughed at you laughing at their names. Of course, my last character was called "Lars Bossum" so.. perhaps I am part of the problem. It's a POE tradition though. It's weird running around LE/D4 and seeing normal (ish) names

League was so crazy. I pulled Mageblood, Massive Ring Thread of Hope and Fur in SSF from Voidborne key.
I'm expecting nothing than bad luck in Necropolis for me now
Raxx's first league highlights is 6 mins longer than most peoples career highlights.

He had more "luck" playing 1 season of POE than I have had in over 6 years of playing POE.
I know these are highlights but still I'm not gonna forget how Rax said recently that he's not a very emotional person yet look at how much he's smiling and enjoying himself here xD
Is there a macro or another trick to pick up loot from the ground fast? Cant seem to find anything about it.
This is why poe is the best arpg in existence, the trading is amazing, the drops FEEL amazing, the build diversity is amazing, take notes d4 for god's sake
It's actually pretty interesting that this was his first league. I thought he was a seasoned Poe player. I'm a seasoned Diablo 2 player. Maybe I should start doing content like this

Those loot reactions are EXACTLY what Diablo 4 is missing. There's NEVER a reaction like that to any drop.
They have been doing this with streamers since the early days. Not surprising.

I went into Necropolis w/o using a guide... so far so good... haven't hit any walls yet... but I still think I'm going to mess it up... there's just too many choices

@@shurne1216 Nope, im the type to look at every chest and break every vase etc cause it might have a chaos in it. Plus im using a popular filter which makes these things standout. Just not lucky. My friend played this league, first time, and got 3 divine.

@@shurne1216 prolly a few hours every day after work and like 14 or so hours on weekends
@@krylesangerbeaver That's probably the issue, being that thorough actually slows you down a lot. Do whatever is the most fun, but if you want to see more/better drops its better to blast maps and not worry so much about vases and chests. For how much you played you can make tons of currency.
the new league looks better than affliction tbh we have more ways to do crazy shit xdd
I have tried this game twice. Can't get past the first town. Everything just feels so lame compared to last epoch or Diablo
Hey Raxx, kind of off topic but considering LLM's are taking over I think Maxroll has a window of opportunity to stay relevant. Soon I foresee companies training an agent on their game before release. That agent will become an expert and be able to answer any questions about the game. So, why doesn't Maxroll get ahead of this by training your own agents on various games? That is the future. Thank you for all the time that you and the Maxroll team has put into the website. It has benefited me a lot over the years!

just makes me realize, that I had no fuckin clue really of PoE with my measly 200 hours, 3 years ago sooo incredibly much has changed.....dunno whats going on here....like, at all......hahaha. Fuck, I go back to LE....suits better for my mediocre-ARPG-knowledge...
