I mainly wanted Starfire and Beast Boy out of this line, going back to the convention previews of the prototypes... I think these look okay, for the most part. But, the QC issues, and the seeming lack of scaling them all complimentary to one another, really is bothersome to me. Unlike a few other figure lines that put a lot more effort into those kind of things. I’d say that I’m mildly disappointed on those levels. But, at the same time, on an individual basis, I’m much more impressed than I thought I’d be by some of the figures in this wave that I hadn’t been looking for.
I would still want them to complete the Teen Titans shelf that I'm planning on getting, any ideas on which Raven figure I use? I think the DC Universe Classics one but idk
Was really hoping Mattel would give it their all and go out with a bang. The prototype for Starfire was gorgeous. Instead seem to be going out with the same whimper they been giving all along sadly. More than ready to see what McFarlane has for us.
Once the final wave of Multiverse is released I will do a big fat look-back video showing the good and the bad. As much as Mattel has done some great things over the years it really does seem like it’s time to pass the torch.

I don’t even get to see these waves the last wave of figures I saw was the lex Luther cnc wave and that was back in December that was the last time I saw that wave never again the only new things I’ve seen is the Shazam wave

Not at all. I don't mind taking suggestions. Some people can be a little rude or smug sometimes. I don't appreciate that sort of thing but I'm always pen to Super Friends making suggestions.As for the measure, I was planning on it months ago actually because it was suggested. And then I lost my ruler. I just need to get one handy to my review area so I can remember. :-)

Okay, for me, most of these are a must, like I really want any of the titans. Black Lightning, Ninja Batman, and John Stewart, a bit less so, but still pretty nice. Beast Boy being large is a little odd, but I'll probably have him in a crouching pose, anyhow.
I remember getting a Black Lightning toy when I was a teenager in the 90s Has to be the only time he was wearing a red and black shirt with a collar. I'm surprised you don't have a copy. You've got every DC toy I could imagine.

Pretty surprised to see a BAF Batman. With the countless Batman versions and variants we've seen over the decades, you'd think Mattel wouldn't hesitate to make a Ninja Batman readily available on its own.

These are really disappointing. They don’t even go together... the sizes of the heads are all over the place. The paint work is meh I love all of these characters and I MIGHT get Starfire and I’m a Wally fan so I might get him but despite being a DC fan I will stick to Marvel Legends
I sold my dcuc starfire for this multiverse version so I hope i get to see her in stores... the scale is bothering but I can make things work with poses...also held of on getting the dcuc beast boy for this multiverse smh...still trying to get this wave I’m a huge titans and teen titans fan

From what I observed, there are no physical retail storw that stocks Mattel DC Multiverse anymore. At least the closest stores to me in Washington. However, last month I saw the Lex Luthor wave at Target......
The Beast boy and Flash Multiverse heads would fit perfectly with the small figures (DC Universe extra young versions) if they would be smaller ones. And the Beast boy and Kid flash Universe heads would fit perfectly in the multiverse figures if they would be a little bigger. Correct?. Or correct?. Yeah. Its correct.
FYI hey do pay homage to the comicbook version of black lightning in 2 S1 flashbacks. that starfire .... not as good as the icon one I got for her Redhoos & Outlaws look. Nightwing always seems to come out great.

Might get Nightwing because of that sick head sculpt. Definitely getting the Batman Ninja just because it's Batman! And it will look great with all the other versions of Batman on the shelf. All the investment in the wave went into the black lightning, the first season was really good, just can't get down with that silly costume. The best figure of the wave is the most slept on and cheap to pick up and that's beast boy. I airbrushed him with testers dullcoat because shiny figures look cheap and it's a testament to what's possible for mattel(same with their cnc figures). Anyone collects dc figures should go and buy it while people are stupid because you know how it goes, reviewers give bad or lackluster reviews, idiots pass on the figures, then realize you actually dig it and then the price shoots up to astronomical prices.
Ninja Batman is proof Mattel can do better articulation on their figures but instead reuses outdated molds. Batman beyond would have been so much better if they just gave him double jointed elbows and his own accessories.
Jamie Humphrey lets not forget to mention that their past 3-4 cnc figures have been regular sized characters that we could’ve gotten in their own package ...the last big cnc figure we got was clay face smh

Wrongly scaled. But figures are better in person. No cheap plastic. Its ok. And proportions arent so bad. The principal fail are the scales.

That's the plan. After filming I tend to clean the figures up but I leave things as-is for the review so as to be transparent.
Starfire looks the best and really accurate to the comics.

They don't use brushes, it's all factory painted.
