Actually just ordered 3 of them. Grabbed one for me and 2 for the kids. Started watching your channel a few days ago and it's great. Truly belive you deserve more views and subs
I've been using the 8BitDo Zero 2 until I got the CRKD ATOM. The buttons have more rattle on the ATOM but has three extra buttons than the Zero 2. It is the best portable controller for its size.
8bitdo Micro is same size, but has 3 modes. Also can swith between Dpad and analog controls. And you can switch the button style between ABXY and BAYX. Lastly it has a very easy to enable turbo button which can enable turbo for each button on the fly.
of course I've watched this AFTER buying it. Now I'm struggling with bluetooth on android, but I'm planning to gift it for some iOS friends with retroarch or PPSSPP
It works really good. I haven't had connection issues. My only issue is I haven't found many games that works with it because so many use joysticks so heavily
I completely agree on what games are available. Mobile games were nearly impossible, but it seems like retro games are probably going to be the best bet.
I would definitely put something like this on my keyring if it wouldn't immediately get scratched up and damaged. Needs a little clear clamshell or something
Liked and Subbed. I've gotten into emulators lately. Started with a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, then an A30 and recently a Miyoo +. I've been eyeballing this controller as it looks really cool for the price. Perfect for just having to lay around or keeping in your bag for a long airplane ride. Thanks for the great review.
Also just got into this with a RP4P. Curious why you went "downgrade" with the A30 and Miyoo. Anyway, I needed two tiny controllers and went with 8bitdo Micro and it's perfect. Seems better than this controller.

I was like "no way" until I saw it was $20! But that sucker is small!!
Yeah it's startlingly small, lol. The thumbnail looks like click bait but it's just a picture of my hand holding it.
This thing would be great for playing retro games with one hand, slow paced stuff like Final Fantasy would be super cozy!

i think it's best with retro games on phone those on screen controllers that retroarch or ppsspp have are unplayable

Looks like a pretty cool portable controller, I wonder how it compares to the 8BitDo Zero 2 or the Micro as those ones are also really tiny.
Reminds me of the 8Bitdo zero2 (same size, 2 fewer shoulder buttons and of course no crkd button)
Would this be good to use for fighting games on the switch like MVC 2 or snk vs Capcom?
Anything that has D-pad controls only is where these will excel. Although the size might be tough to deal with, they function very well.
@freakytechreviews ah...gotcha. thanks for the reply. Will look into it more 🤙
Give it some snes controllers colors and it would be perfect
That thing is ridiculously small lol. Cool tho
what's the input lag on it? has anyone even tested it?
freaky tech huh? I was expecting freakier
I bought one and then i realized it didn't have joysticks and that really limits what it can do
Yeah it's limited to d-pad gaming.
Bro, it's too tiny for your big hands.
It's too tiny for anyone's hands, lol
