Wow!Your nails are so pretty,and you do a absolutely beautiful job!(waaay better than alot of nail techs!)I'm a lisenced manicurist,and cannot find a manicurist who does anywhere near the polish job you do.So I do my own.The metal implement you were using is called a cuticle pusher.I suggest you invest in a LED lamp instead of UVB,it's safe,not damaging and alot quicker.So you won't have to worry about skin damage,and won't have to wear your glove! I love your idea of a new videos series on nails! Thank you for making them❤️

@@AmandaBellaa I have a Sun5X from Amazon. It’s a 48W which I think is recommended for most Gel Polishes. But so long as your polish is fully cured, you’re good to go. P.S. I bought a glove but haven’t used it yet … loathe to get fluff in my gel 😆😆😆

I have been seeing my manicurist for a year now and have become so frustrated with the s****y jobs she has been doing! My nails don't cure right, they chip and dull and I'm so over her excuses. Hi Amanda Pretty color on your manicures. I don’t do gel manicures too often except for growing my fingernails out once monthly, but many of my friends from high school and college have done their manicures often.
Yeah true. I usually use the Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails Nail Strengthener brand because its on the cheaper side and a high quality brand as well to grow out my nails every few weeks.

Found you from the Quick Dip power video since I had bought the exact same one from Sally's Beauty Supply. I used the "cream soda" color and so far so good. Just put it on yesterday so we shall see how long they last. I have been a "gel polish" girl up until about a month ago when I got my first dip powder nails done at a salon. I am still on the fence with whether I will stick with it or continue with gel. I agree, that gel seems so less messy than the dip powder, less filing as well as you are doing the layers with dip. I use the ASP brand mostly with maybe one or two Gelish ones. This one that you have is gorgeous, I will have to put it on my list. :) Definitely invest in a LED "blue" light lamp. They are not expensive off of Amazon and cure the nail in 60 seconds!
Please keep me posted on your Quick Dip experience, I'm dying to give it another shot! Do you have a specific LED lamp recommendation? I think that's something I need to invest in. I love coffin, but I can't wear my nails long enough to shape them that way. I flip furniture. I usually use dip manicures just because my nails are abused so much. I wash my hands so much with aggressive soaps to remove chalk paint. I try to remember to wear gloves, but I jump in there and start a project without thinking about gloves. So, I usually go for squoval. I have very short fingers and I don't really like how oval nails look. I've not thought about almond. I need to try that!

And I'm with you - I feel like round/oval nails don't break as easily as square. I honestly don't think mine are long enough to truly consider them "almond" but I always say so haha. I just purchased the jel polish and drying lamp. Looked at several videos but most were doing another person's nails where your's was doing your own nails.
I don't put gel under the nail just because it's so much thicker than regular polish and I imagine I would feel it! I have some other mani videos on my channel with full filing and nail care tips!! Thanks for watching :)

Ahhh I need to get an LED lamp! They supposedly cure the polish faster than UV - however, I don't think all gel brands are compatible. I'd double check, but most likely, you should be ok!

Is there a good starter kit for gel on amazon that you would recommend? I know you swear my Gelish, and I do too. But just looking on amazon to get a lamp and starter kit since it would be quick delivery :)
I think you can! I believe I've done it once before. Sometimes I'll do an acry-gel manicure where I paint the gel base coat, dip it in acrylic, cure it, and then continue with the manicure as normal! Helps make them a little stronger!
I thought before you put your nail polish on your nails supposed to be dry like no oils on your nails.. i put alcohol on my nails then whatever next and after that nail polish then your oil on your cuticles. I heard it keeps your nail polish on longer.. Am i wrong??
No you're right! I just rinse mine after filing/buffing to get rid of any leftover dust. I dry them very well, but sweeping with acetone or alcohol is definitely a great trick!
Nope - just regular snow gloves. Probably not the best, but I figure it's better than nothing. Do they make UV gloves?! May need to look into those!! XO

A good dip powder is Rossi brand. I like your videos.
You should try the kits for converting regular nail polish into gel polish. I get 12 - 15 days out of it.

I think you can! I believe I've done it once before. Sometimes I'll do an acry-gel manicure where I paint the gel base coat, dip it in acrylic, cure it, and then continue with the manicure as normal! Helps make them a little stronger!
I thought before you put your nail polish on your nails supposed to be dry like no oils on your nails.. i put alcohol on my nails then whatever next and after that nail polish then your oil on your cuticles. I heard it keeps your nail polish on longer.. Am i wrong??
No you're right! I just rinse mine after filing/buffing to get rid of any leftover dust. I dry them very well, but sweeping with acetone or alcohol is definitely a great trick!
Does gel polish smell or have an odor?
It has a very light odor when before it's cured - nothing harsh or strong. Zero smell afterwards! :)

Nope - just regular snow gloves. Probably not the best, but I figure it's better than nothing. Do they make UV gloves?! May need to look into those!! XO

You can't :( Gel polishes must be used with a UV or LED light
The story line is good but it gets a bit lame after season 5 but the last last season like is good very good
