Hi Ian, great start buddy. What a cool looking industry, that should be super fun to operate while enjoying the scenery when it's done. Thank you for sharing with us modeler's. Dave B.
This was a interesting update, I like you showing yourself building bits as we normally see the 'after' of the construction etc :D Also the lighting looks great, much better being the yellow / orange light, I think Everard Junction uses tamiya paint / wash to change LED temperatures which might be good to try perhaps?
Thanks Mike - I hope to show more ‘in build’ stuff but sometimes when I only have an hour or two after work it’s not easy. The bank holiday weekend helped a lot! As for paint colours I don’t really know about those theories, I might have to look into it!
At the moment it's a very rough print-out from my PC, mounted on some card. Later I'll do a better-quality version on plastic, along with a range of notices, warning signs, safety announcements etc, to finish off the model (hopefully covered in a future Part 2)
Is the main building the Walthers Cold Storage (the white ribbed building)? Or did you scratch build it? Maybe you covered it in a past video but I could have missed it. NVM, you said Great West Modular building. Missed that.
Yes indeed Great West Models but not following their plans at all, I just threw the components together in a way that suited this location (and of course as a long flat)

Thanks for your comments I’m glad you enjoyed the film!
Cool build Ian, love how you represent the facade of the BASF plant. Beautiful details. Curious to see your progress on this facility. Cheerio
