I learned the custom is actually just a prostockhockeystick stick (a collab), and that's apparently why it's so much better. Just ordered the p92 red OG from PSHS, pretty stoked on it.
How would you compare the custom to the Nexus League sticks? Ive been using League sticks for the last couple seasons but am down to my last 1. Trying decide between more Nexus League sticks or an OG red from PSHS
My 17 yr old got the pro custom blackout in hossa curve 75 flex and found WAY to wipey. Not sure what flex you used but curious if you found it to wipey and needed the 85 flex? Also is the pro custom a low kick stick? Thanks
I ordered a 75 flex extra lite about a year ago and had to return it bc it felt super stiff like 85. So weird you experienced different. Maybe bc the custom is made by pshs and it's a different manufacturer
I just ordered the pro blackout blue-lite (mid-kick). It comes 64” and the guy I spoke to said I can cut it down to 60” (stock height) and it will still play true to 90 flex 🤞🏻
Shots were coming off way hotter with the custom 😂. I had a buddy that bought a blackout and the weight and balance wasn’t tooooo bad, but the blade feel was not it at all.
I agree with that, the weight balancing isn’t too bad but the weight difference between the 2 isn’t noticeable in hand to be honest, the custom is the better stick of the 3 for sure tho
@@StickTalk8 also, I just bought a Denis Malgin pro stock stock from hockey stock man. Looks like it has a Brayden Point pro curve on it which I’ve been wanting to try. Completely flat blade with no rocker. What are your thoughts on rocker vs no rocker on blades?
I pass by those sticks every day at work and wish they were bigger so I could give one a try lol- honestly I don’t notice too much when I’m out there, would make an interesting video
The shots off the extra lite definitely looked better than the pro blackout. The pro hossa is deadly. Did you find the custom flex to feel softer than the other two that are the same flex rating? Also, you guys gonna get the pro hossa in 70?
Hi , I just subscribed to yo6ur channel - thanks for the videos here. I wanted to ask you if you had a version of the p88 curve on the pro blackout, and if you are able to tell me which lie it is. the Bauer p88 says it is a 6, but feels lower, and the warrior version says 5 , and the sherwood version says 6 - thanks!
I have the pro blackout extra lite and its really just meh. Paid $170 shipped. Save ur money and hold off for 50% off sales from box store sticks. I was able to grab 2 ft4 pros last year for $180 a piece! They’re still going strong and wayyyyyy better sticks. Just my 2 cents!
I agree with choosing an older top of the line model over it but in comparison to retail offerings at $160 CAD it blows them out of the water in my opinion!
the only issue i have of this. is you were rating all 3 like they were just different levels of the same stick from the same company.... the first 2 are made a different way from the 3rd, cause its from different manufactuers and different companies. prostock hockey sticks has some non customs you could get too. but its like comparing an ft7 and ft7 pro, and a tracer as if they were all the same line of sticks. other than that, was a great review. just need a seperate video for pro stock hockey sticks. unless you do a video specifically versus-ing the 2 brands.
i guess to calrify as well. im not a fan of hockeystickmans sticks. they feel as cheap as they cost, and just are okay sticks at best. where as PRO sticks feel higher quality than the price you pay, on top of all the customizations as well.
I agree with the prostockhockeysticks quality being higher, I’ve featured his sticks on my channel before and I love them- my dad even uses them as his game sticks lol. The reason why I chose to format the video the way I did was more a showcase style while also giving my thoughts as to what was worth the money considering they’re all within $40 of eachother. They are 2 separate brands but are advertised as the same so figured I might as well showcase it as the general consumer would see it!
@StickTalk8 ahhhh i see. That's not a terrible way to format the video tbh, maybe just needed to talk on the fact that it's a different brand a lil more than the quick mention you gave it. Also you didn't link the pro stick in description, but it says you can buy all these sticks at the link below... and u can't get the pro on hockey stick man Don't wanna beat ya down either, i mean for all of this to be constructive feed back. U do good, and i wanna see ya grow and get better
You can get the same model pro I used on the hockeystickman website- they sell his sticks as their own, they’re the custom blackout and I absolutely appreciate the constructive feedback, I’m definitely still learning so it really helps!
Is the Blackout custom the exact same thing as the PSHS OG Red? If not, what’s the difference between the two?
Not quite the same, it was manufactured to feel closer to the pro blackout extra lite rather than the og red line
Congrats on getting over 500 subs! On to 1K!
Thank you! I’m going to keep working towards it!

Yes that’s definitely why it’s better and I’ve been meaning to try his new line of sticks!

The custom is a much better stick for sure, definitely go with the og red from Gepetto
@@StickTalk8thanks for the input man!
keep killin' it brotha the world needs more people to review this shit before we drop $100+
Thanks man I appreciate it and ya I hope to become that guy!
grats on passing the 500 bud!
Thanks I appreciate it- checked out your channel, what’s the best way to get in to warhammer?
what curve option did you have on the custom
nvm i heard pro hossa
Ya I’m using the pro81 lol
good stuff brother, keep it going!
Thanks man I appreciate it!

I’m using an 85 in the video! If he finds the 75 too whippy definitely give the 85 a shot and yes it’s a low kick stick!

They pro blackout and pro blackout extra lite feel stiffer than the advertised flex but the custom feels like the advertised flex!

I haven’t been able to try one of those yet and yes it should feel like the advertised 90 flex at 60”
i want you to succeed. no music. and mic a little louder.
Next one should be the best then.
Love this guy
Leafs blow but love the content dude keep it up 🔥💯
I’m a fan by default lol but the gloves are from Colorado! Thanks man I appreciate it!

What about the blackout value?
Don't waste your time
Ya I’m right there with you, didn’t really think it was worth my money

I love the hossa curve and yes it definitely felt softer at the same flex. I’m not sure if we’re going to get any

@StickTalk8 :o i stand corrected then! I was unaware of that!

nvm its probably a senior i got a intermediate
I’m using a senior and it’s a great stick for the price!
@@StickTalk8 yeah i ordered one and got a intermediate 55 flex was too whippy for me and im also gonna cut it down abit
Great video, I think you should have me out to play goalie? Would be awesome content.
Lol no thanks I don’t want you to get hurt, who knows maybe I buy you a set of goalie gear for Christmas lol
