Korra's wristband is most likely leather and leather is an insulator of electricity. It doesn't allow electrons to flow through it so she wasn't affected by the cage being electrified.
Wouldn’t have mattered much because the box was already on the ground. It was a perfect faraday box just like a car in a thunderstorm. Would be a different story if the box was elevated off the floor
I've seen this series a LOT, but for the first time I realize that Chief Beifong wears metal shoes without socks or something. She's tougher than she already seems. Walking barefoot in metal shoes through the snow - just thinking about it makes me shiver
While I do understand people getting frustrated with the romance, please remember not only are we dealing with teenagers, we’re dealing with teens who are orphans from the street, and a secluded Avatar. Who would have taught them what to do? Poor Asami though, she deserves a W.
Just because there's a storyline reason doesn't mean it wasn't written badly. The writers dropped the ball with writing this (and all of) Korra's romance(s). That doesn't detract from their worldbuilding and storytelling in other aspects. At this point, we can consider Aang and Katara a fluke. Writers aren't perfect. They suck at romance, but that doesn't mean they're bad writers
@@babarjaputak2314if the earth avatar is 9 years old in the show, I kinda like that it’ll force them to not do any romance for them. Because damn they miss the ball so many times.
That emotional combo in this episode. Lin's sacrifice, that scene of Amon taking her bending. The way our perspective slows as if she has been executed. And then the voice reveal of the general, followed by his name drop. This episode's ending was just an emotional rollercoaster !!!
"Twinkle toеs" is forever. At the age of 12, and at 40. And even in the next life. And we can still hear these two words from the one who came up with this nickname. If Katara is still alive, then the little blind girl is even more so.
amon knew where korra was because he must have got information from his hunchmen that Lin, tenzin and the others came searching for korra at the equalist hideout. Now since they didn't find korra , who else has korra, probably someone at a higher place? a councilman on the news everyday?
Why would you try and spoil them? And if your excuse is that they're already past this season, then why did you feel the need to tell them? Terrible comment
@@Usurpationblitzthey say it like one episode from now, it’s not that big of a secret. He says, my grandfather would respect the Avatars wishes. So yeah, I’m sure they know by now, but it’s an episode away, and if you did the math even before that episode, you’d get a pretty good guess from it.
@CarlosDangerPowers yeah, everyone will know what your family is, and noone would care if you are a commoner, but rich people that are not royalty, like the Beifongs or the Satos, need their families to be recognised as important, so they have their surnames for that
I really wanted to be friends with Prez and Cara! It feels like they are fun to hang out with! ANd imagine watching series with them! It must be really entertaining!
Episode 9 is so good. Trust we are ALL team Asami lmaoooo. But I LOVEEE Korra too. She's my favorite Avatar. Lin is my favorite, though she is so awesome, and no matter what, she puts her feelings to the side for what she's fighting for. She's someone you want on your team, no doubt!
Tarlok’s clothing is blue and he’s the water tribes’ representative. He could have hid out anywhere in the north and south poles until enough time had passed and built his way up through the ranks of politician before going to republic city. Plus he’s a politician 😂 even with today, with social media and paparazzi, we still don’t know everything about every politician. As for the yes guys on the council, do you know the names of every politician or just the most influential, outgoing ( sometimes corrupt) politician as rumors spread about them? They’re trying to stay out of Tarlok’s way and are NPCs. 36:44 speaking to that end, this baby saw his family in danger. Hope saw the conquering of ba sing se. babies come out of the womb facing opponents in this world. Geez O.O
I would argue it isn't more tame, it's that Aang has way more experience and conviction than when he was young. What almost consumed him as a child, was no longer a problem.

Love how Cara switched her least favorite character in one episode from Tarlok to Mako 😂

@@babarjaputak2314 Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto) is in the same boat. Trash romances, decent to great writing at times.

Fun Fact: Suki is the woman in the bun and green dress behind Aang. She’s just a little cameo in the background. Not many fans acknowledge that.
Woah didn’t notice

When i first watched this on TV, It was this moment i thought Amon wasn't human.
Robo-Amon theories were all over the internet back then when the "Aang created a split Avatar when he died at Ba Sing Se" theories were proven wrong
I was so sure Amon was just Tarlok in disguise, then they met and that theory went out the window haha
Your just not a Beifong until you've taken down an airship. Or two.
"It's so weird seeing Aang like this."
"Yeah, he's got a beard!"

I wanted Amon to say, ooooRahh, just one time 😂
I think that the only surnames by that time were Beifong and Sato
Kinda weird the fire nation royal family doesn't. But I guess if you go by prince, you don't need one

It's funny how way more tame energybending is in LoK than it was in the ATLA finale

@@KevinDPomeroyagreed, they dont need to show us the inner conflict every single time lol
It's not tame, it just doesn't have a super dramatic internal light show because it's not the centerpiece of a series finale
