Centrifugal Feeder Bowl to Orient Plastic Bases

Centrifugal (or rotary) feeders use centrifugal force to orient and feed parts. The bowl rotates at high speeds, typically between 50 and 1000 RPM, creating a centrifugal force that causes parts to move along the edge of the bowl where they encounter various mechanisms that help to separate and orient them.
This FT40 Centrifugal Feeder System is orienting plastic bases and features a back pressure relief system and lexan and mesh guarding. The guarding is not shown in this video for testing and demonstration purposes. The system is designed to operate at a rate of 440 parts per minute.
