Hi , brother you are very very welcome to Pakistan and I'm sure you would be welcomed warmly by your Pakistani brothers/ neighbours , we need more people like you to spread love not hate ❤️❤️❤️
I see the comments here and I am happy to see Punjabis from both sides of the border so united and proud of their combined heritage, and especially us whose ancestors lived in Pakistani Punjab and moved to India. The language spoken by our elders still resembles that of Pakistani Punjab. I will visit Lahore, Multan and Jhang one day. My ancestory is from the last two mentioned cities. Love from India to all Punjabis
Chakwal group should get more acknowledgement, fame and opportunities to perform in Pakistan and internationally as they have such talent to sing together without much fanfare. Love all their performances.
The male chorus is amazing, can´t stop listening to this chant.Sung with so much devotion.Congrats and blessings to all Pakistan artists involved in this project.

welcome back Mr. Cordeaca, 6 years reflecting on your appearance, actually more graceful...and of course this song has some magic in it, it won't allown you to remain away from it..
For the benefit of my Indian Punjab listeners , Chakwal is in northern Punjab ( potohar region) and around 90km from Islamabad and 280km from Lahore. Hence their Punjabi language is different from central Punjab and Lahore. you may find some words unfamiliar ..moving upwards Punjabi dialects changes.
Greetings from Portugal! Wonderful music! I will listen to Coke Studio for the entire summer. Amazing voices and instrumental. A shame I can't understand a word.
Oh my goodness..This is real punjabi folk music.I can listen old punjabi words that are even spoken in malwa..in my region of punjab. Love you chakwal brthrs.Pakistan has saved this culture.Rabb khush rakhe..eda hi vadaude raho folk music nu.Respect
I don't think this Punjabi isn't spoken anywhere in Indian Punjab now. I wonder if the average Pakistani punjabi still understnds this. If so, thanks for keeping this alive. !!!!!!!!!!! 10000 salutes
The singing on these Coke Studio sessions is unbelievably good. I'm a 60 yr old white guy in California and I feel god's presence so strongly. God loves music, but how could he not love Sufi music the most? And the woman singer must be one of the most beautiful women to ever walk the planet. Respect to Coke for making these.
The first time I listened to this particular recording, it just sent shivers up my spine. How Rohail Hyatt did combine Chakwal quartet raw and natural voices along with Meesha´s voice in a whole so consistent I don´t sincerely know. I just love it! I just love Meesha. Impossible not to get contamined with Chakwal´s bliss. Salutations from Brazil to all Pakistani people!
Pakistani musicians are just amazing. I've been listening to these great artists for years now, but never lost that blissful feeling that this music offers. How I wish I could see them live. Keep playing. Peace.
sanjeev jindal baijaan thanks for sharing your true experience with us same here and i am listening every day with headphones and awsome. Meaning of this song is so real and mysterious thats why it giving sufi touch .
+adi ansari what do you mean ? their is a state named punjab in India and a province named punjab in Pakistan. Punjab is a historical land of Jutt (like me), rajpoots, Gujar, arians, and other castes. and is composed of land between five rivers, and hence the name Punj-ab many different accents are spoken across Punjab, like the accent used is chakwali. but the standard punjabi accent is Majhi spoken across india and Pakistan, around Amritsar, Lahore, Sialkot, Nankana, sahiwal areas.
Excellent chords , superb lyrics , after a hard day's work the farming community gets together at twilight in the cold weather , warm fire and such a folk song and more of these binds the community together , inspiring'em to wake up the next morning and take on the day as it comes!! Salud to all the artists
Splendid..Marvelous... The talent has no language, no religion , no caste , no nationality, doesn't know any borders ....only thing it knows is winning admirers, winning heats, spreading love, inner peace . No doubt each country's culture , folk music is unique in its own. I love the core identity that the folk music and culture carries & showcase it to the world. Indian and Pakistani music , culture are too rich. There is so much depth and great things to feel about. These two nations has lot to give to this world and already doing so in many areas. There is a whole lot of great talents in shadows. Sometimes Our local talents go unsung, but they do not need to get commercialized all they need is recognized so that it can be brought forward to outer world.
Amazing feeling and romance when listening to Pakistani Coke Studio, big fan, and have a big heart to welcome and appreciate such talent Love you Guys!!
Very Good attempt. Keep the heritage of both sides of Pb alive. Coke Studio ( Pak ) has made excellent efforts towards this end in the last few years.Encourage talent like that of Chakwal Group. Must not allow the same to get drowned by the trash being churned out in the name of folk now-a-days. Wadali Brothers ( India) is another example of near similar talent.
its pakistani tradistional music .. this song is coming to these guys from thier elders and coke studio has given life to the music industry in pakistan and truly a lot of hidden talent came out ..
