I suspect it only got chucked out due to the fact the dryer heater is probably dead and kept short circuiting. Worth the fix I guess if that’s the problem

You should check how many operating hours this has done. To check this:
1. Switch on the machine
2. Turn the dial to Easy Iron cycle
3. Immediately press&hold the start/pause and delay start button together until the display shows "Hr" (Hour)
4. Release the start/pause and delay start button.
How many hours has it run?
