That clutch ‘lock-up’ is a Slipper style clutch. This is an older idea, that was being developed in Drag bike Racing community. As for the Aluminum Composit, just means that there is less Tin and more nickel alloy and possibly more titanium, depending on the foundry or cast house who made it and how much they wanted to spend to make. It looks to be an “investment Casting” which is a higher end cast housing. Instead of using the basic sand casting. This entire clutch works purely off centrifugal mass rotation . If you want it to engage faster, use less weights, a slower lockup then you use heavier weights. This is all to maintain a certain RPM range for maximum power band. Everything on a 2T is to dial it into a certain maximum power band. If you do not understand these concepts, the first thing to happen is you’ll burn up a clutch so fast and probably get stranded out in the sand or woods. I would strongly recommend having a PRO do this mod, unless you understand it and are a really good mechanic.

Really enjoying these build videos. I’m doing a compete build on my blaster the same way your doing your banshee. I got a Vito’s crank with a wiseco 68mm piston, trail ported with boyesen dual stage reeds and pro circuit exhaust.

Water pump impeller stock is best cause they have a hard lubricant coat that high volume aftermarket dosnt have and the seal wears the shaft in no time at all then you have a problem of coolant leaking into trans oil plus the high volume one cavatates the air.
Ive run both .ive run stock water pump in my 4mm serval ported by redline 85hp for hundreds of hours no wear at all and cool as with standard rad as well.

I would like to see how the gasket waste from the cylinder heads and cylinders is cleaned. Please!
The head does not use a gasket on this build; it uses o rings to seal. The lower gaskets do have some excess but it's in areas that dont bother me. If I really wanted them cleaned up I'd either do a dry run and mark with an pencil where to cut them and then put it together or trim them with a razor.

@Jared Stevenson I think the banshee is a fun quad to ride in short blasts. But a yfz450 might be better for hitting the trails all day.
As far as the trx250 conversion, does it dramatically help with handling? Jumps, trail riding, track?

They're for dragging racing. You gotta be careful with the way you downshift them. Or you're going to have a problem. 🤦🏾♂

I would like to know your take on a recluse clutch
Recluse is a clutch where you wont a tall out if I'm not mistaken? I've never run one but I can see how it would be a big help in woods or xc riding.
