Your Emotional Support Chicken was a big hit!! And all those wonderful Socks! Now that I have finished my summer sweater I can get on the Sock Train! We have had wicked hot weather, but now cooler after a horrible storm with numerous Tornado warnings!
One actually hit ground, but in Dublin, NH I am on the East side. This is only June! Happy Fourth!

OOOH! I did pull out my AAAAAAH Real Monsters bag. It has my phase 2 sock yarns in it. You will be tagged in my video tomorrow night about all of those.

I have naturally curly hair as well and have not gone to a hairdresser since March, 2020. I cut my own hair. Only need help with the back occasionally.

I was really hoping to knit a sweater for Aug and it is too hot! Our heat index is 100 here in SC... So socks it is. I am loving how the algorithm sent me you and Wyoming Knits recently. I am getting all of the sock inspo!

I turn down the water temperature down for shampooing, and conditioning. That can help with frizz. washing hair in hot water fries hair just like a hot tool.

Nice speckling on those heels Lisa. You sure have that knack for color changing. I was so glad to see that you didn't just knit the same number of rounds on your scrappy socks. I'll have to try that myself and change it up. 10 here, then like 5, maybe 3, and then like back up to 7 or so. Just mixing it up. Well done lady. Saw the podcast today with your friend Amy and the birthday gifts you sent her. A very nice friendly gesture Lisa. She was very happy. Yes, keep away from small talk. Bugs me too. As an extreme introvert as well, small talk just perturbs the heck out of me. Proper conversation: she talks, pause, I talk, pause, he talks, pause. When someone is talking and changes the topic every 10 seconds that's rambling. And most likely their bipolar as well. Ok. Stay cool. Stay inside. And keep up all of your generosity the you give to all of your viewers. Ken😮

I don't think opal is a nice yarn to work with. If you want your socks to be the same, you have to cut out whole pieces of it, with the risk that you won't be comfortable making them entirely with opal. And I don't like how the wire feels in my hand
