You are right about the poverty in Cape Town; but how does the DA stop South Africans coming to the only region which has any economic opportunities? In order to upgrade any informal settlement in Cape Town, the government should start in the Eastern Cape.

What people don't understand the da was previously called the dp and before that called progressive party which always back to 1976 when I first voted was the opposition to the nationalist party which was the old afrikaans boere party standing FOR apartheid. SA has 256 municipalities. 33 have clean audits, 23 of the 33 are in the Western Cape alone. Of the 23, 19 have CONSISTENTLY received clean audits. - Auditor General MFMA Report 2021/2022... It's not a myth that the DA can govern effectively.

Then my ppl always bringing up Khayelisha in these debates to undermine the truly great and proven work the DA has done in Western Cape. While my ppls black government has done nothing to zero in Alexandra past 30yrs. One of the oldest informaal townships. Point in case, DA has succeeded in most areas of government while my black government has succeeded nowhere. Gauteng was supposed to have developed far more than Western Cape but instead regressed over the yrs. Simply put, this new mixed government will be great for South Africa as there will be cross skilling and knowledge transfer. A truly reflection of our diversity put in the right place. We are a nation of sound minded and progressive ppl. Its clearly what our votes are saying. Of course there will always be slow percent of backward ppl.

@@andrewchipo9282 Definitely not , the DA won most coloured areas in the Western Cape and all over South Africa, yes the PA did get coloured votes but clearly the DA won most coloured votes if you look at the breakdown of election results by area or just looking by the fact that DA won the Western Cape with a outright majority.
Their federal council is 90% white, Which is the DA control room.
And add to the coloured vote, the black vote of over 800 000. The majority might even be non whites, go and get the true figures from a reliable source, and check how correct I am.

Well a bit of hock wash from Prince. Right from the ouset, the DA is a white party. Yes many whites vote for the DA, how easy is it to correct him. Whites are the 3rd % demographic that vote for the DA. In 2022 32% of the DA’s total current support comes from black voters, 31% from coloured voters, 30% from white voters and 7% from Indian voters. Not sure what 2024 election statistics were. But the DA is the best representative for the most diverse group in the whole country.

I must say; I find it an ostensible abstract that the ANC represents black people. For the beginners black people reside in decaying villages and township whilst the very ANC cadre they insert into positions of national responsibility leave them behind and move to white affluent suburbs. The very seldom times they visit either a village or a township they come escorted on heavy machine guns. Malema recently confessed to have met Cyril jogging by himself in Sandhurst, whilst Juju himself was driving himself. Can they do that in Soweto? No one is truthfully representing black people Mike.
I was a fan of prince until saga of "allegedly" not acknowledging his co-writer. I tried to listen to his side of the story and couldn't get convinced bi his argument. Today, he clearly sides with the Da at whatever costs. I'm actually disappointed by this.😂

By the way I heard Helen Zille saying that one of DA proposal was for ministers and chairpersons of portfolio committees to not come from the same political party like what was happening in the past 30 years. This will bring accountability and transparency from ministers.

China is the new imperialist, they start by killing our industries and then they come and invest. The is no better devil between the West and the East. I am one of people who asked for Prince. I agree that this ANC and DA is the best option for South Africa. We are tired of corruption. People need jobs. ❤❤❤
When Herman Mashaba was still a mayor of JHB he mentioned that he said NO to Tony Leon who wanted a specific tender. Your DA gave a R1B tender to some American-owned company last year, so I don't know where this notion comes from to think that the DA is above reproach. All these people are thieves. Some know how to do it better than others to not make it too obvious but these are two sides of the same coin.
PLEASE tell Prince Mashele that I agree 100% withh all he said, EXCEPT the bit about China. I have been studying China for the past 4 years and their economy is in serious jeopardy due to the enormous housing bubble and the declining economy. Also, and this is the most serious factor, China's population growth is in decline and no country in history has come back when their population growth was less than 1.8 per couple and theirs are 1.3. The youth also do not want to get married and definitely do not want children. China will never surpass the West and especially the US as a superpower.
