A more balanced view than I've heard.before; and agree with a lot on the analysis of what.we have been and are going thru as a country, continent, and the world. However, I do feel that her loyalty to the ANC is making her blind to the forces at work within the party (specifically how to respond to them). Remember Holomisa, Malema, COPE, and now MKP? Divisive forces will always meddle with the agenda that ANC leaders should be united towards.

Dr. Sizwe, WELL DONE. Mme Thandi Modise is a solid lady, but her loyalty to the ANC blinds her reality, and the Northwest she once led is a mess! I am nonetheless glad that she is at peace and gets to rest, after her vigorous struggle for our freedom
The real conversation for me started at 12:09 when Mme Modise opened up on her stance on the land question. To say that her fellow stalwarts have not done enough to return the land to the dispossessed natives in 30 years is an understatement and this single failure is what each and every one of us must remember about this generation of ANC leaders. Forget the unequal wealth distribution and all that. The consolidation of white minority control of the land of South Africa by the ANC leaders who inherited the State in 1994 is their legacy and is the only thing ourselves and our next generations must remember them for.
