I used to ride there, back in the late 80's. Did a little racing also, never won any races, did a lot of crashing......
This looks like fun and is also quite wholesome, no idea why it was recommended to me though

Not sure. Try calling some of the smaller shops they might have something or would know where you could rent a bike. Try Tunedbyten, Tuffcote, or Hawaii rides.
