At 3:44 the reason your Pixel is taking over a minute to capture an image of a lake and dock at night is you have astrophotography set to auto and that's what it's doing. Since you're not capturing stars here, just turn astro off in settings and then you'll get a night sight shot in 6 seconds or less.
@@realmoonknight You probably misunderstood what was mentioned. Pixel night sight auto setting is around 3 seconds as well. What happened in the video was because the astrophotography mode was automatically activated (can be turned off)because it is on a tripod and the location is very dark therefore it's taking very long to snap the photos. So in short, the UA-camr was not very familiar with how the pixel works. But seems like Google made astrophotography manual on Android 15 so this might not happen next time.
At 2:22, the display on the s24 definitely did not have adaptive brightness enabled. Trust me, the screen looks immaculate even with direct sunlight shining over it.
When handheld, the Pixel does the same "quicker" night shots as the other two. However when on a tripod, it engages Astrophotography mode which is the longer capture times you saw @3:40. It assumes that if you're using a tripod, you're probably fine waiting awhile for the best quality photos.

Plus they are using the gpu that apple used to use so that us going to be very interesting to see how that affects camera quality.
Crazy how the Pixel's video selfie camera does the cheap Android thing of washing out the face with this soapy texture. Makes the speaker look unnatural. Iphone does the same, but at least it doesn't look so fake. The Samsung's selfie video is the only one that doesn't make the speaker look like a plastic puppet.
I always see people bashing the pixel 9 pro/XL because of its tensor g4, yet based on benchmarks, tensor g4 is a bit better than the s22 ultra's snapdragon 8 gen 1 and only a little bit slower than the s23 ultra's snapdragon 8 gen 2 but for some reason no one is flaming these phones for their chips. I have a pixel 9 pro xl and a iphone 15 pro max. Pixel for photography all day, iphone still does video way better than the pixel. Not sure about the galaxy I'm sure it's a pretty solid phone as well.
Gone are the days when one flagship was better than another in all departments. Now it's always a mix. One wins in some departments, another wins in others. You just pick what you like...
Recommendation: make small pauses at the end of your videos. Say goodbye or use a memorable phrase, giving viewers time to hit the like button. Otherwise, some users might automatically move to the next video, and some might not come back to give feedback.
If I am purely using one for video what do you suggest? Seems kinda like the iPhone is better for that. I was hoping the Pixel was going to be because I can get a killer deal on it right now with work
The Pixel’s dynamic range in the front camera is the best and the field of view is also the best on the Pixel 9. The iPhone’s video stabilisation (Action Mode) is the best, but the Galaxy’s stabilisation is a close second. Also, The S24 does edit its photos, and a common example of that is the moon shot, and the vibrancy of the Galaxy is increased by editing with AI. Here is my ranking of their cameras : 1. Pixel 9 Pro 2. iPhone 16 Pro 3. Galaxy S24 Ultra
Did you get your phones mixed up when saying the Galaxy crashed the blacks the most? That crown goes to Apple. When looking at trees in the distance, anything in shadow is gone; whereas the Galaxy and Pixel still has clear and obvious detail.
I like realistic photos and videos. I want it to be captured the way my eyes saw it so when I get old and I look back at my pictures I can see the world for how it really was
I don't think it's an advantage having the super wide front camera, it means way more lens distortion. Notice how much more flatting the iPhone is etc in the selfies because of that.
Frankly I'm shocked at the difference in the quality of the zoomed images at 1:30. It's very clear to see which is #1, 2 and 3 here. The Samsung's AI sharpening is a detriment at 3:13. It would be interesting to see how much better it would look in RAW format. Where you point out the difference in screen brightness at 2:16 I think you have the Samsung at a less than ideal screen setting. Normally it can be much brighter. You should have pointed out the very noticeable lack of glare on the Samsung screen during that segment. The difference is not subtle. As you say, the differences are mostly subjective and I would take ANY of them for photos and videos (I do own one of them though 😁).
My man you make all of those videos and you never tell us the battery life on each of those, kind of a important feature to know dont you think? Just a tip.
Despite Pixel 9 Pro XL has less performance than the Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max but surprisingly, the image on the Pixel 9 Pro XL is much nicer than the 2 of them (both of them are too overrated than the Pixel 9 Pro XL).

I have a pixel 9 pro xl and a iphone 15 pro max. Pixel for photography all day, iphone still does video way better than the pixel. Not sure about the galaxy I'm sure it's a pretty solid phone as well.
All of them look pretty amazing. Thank you for making this video
Gone are the days when one flagship was better than another in all departments. Now it's always a mix. One wins in some departments, another wins in others. You just pick what you like...
S24 ultra for me outstands among the two
The pixel is like if the s24u and the iPhone 16 Pro had a baby together
Nice comparison 😂👍🏻
Recommendation: make small pauses at the end of your videos. Say goodbye or use a memorable phrase, giving viewers time to hit the like button. Otherwise, some users might automatically move to the next video, and some might not come back to give feedback.
Sir can i go with iphone 15 pro max or s24 ultra for longterm usage pls reply ?
My God!!! Finally. I was waiting for your comparison.
This is the best product comparison review! This helps me decide which phone to pick.
4:31 galaxy looks the best
If I am purely using one for video what do you suggest? Seems kinda like the iPhone is better for that. I was hoping the Pixel was going to be because I can get a killer deal on it right now with work
Pixel is best value for money. iPhone most reliable quality. S24 Ultra most "full" camera system
8:02 Why the heck is pixel is laggy , Samsung in between and iPhone smooth like butter ?
4:40 great shot 😲
The Pixel’s dynamic range in the front camera is the best and the field of view is also the best on the Pixel 9. The iPhone’s video stabilisation (Action Mode) is the best, but the Galaxy’s stabilisation is a close second. Also, The S24 does edit its photos, and a common example of that is the moon shot, and the vibrancy of the Galaxy is increased by editing with AI.
Here is my ranking of their cameras :
1. Pixel 9 Pro
2. iPhone 16 Pro
3. Galaxy S24 Ultra
samsung colors are pretty terrible, teal sky?
Did you get your phones mixed up when saying the Galaxy crashed the blacks the most? That crown goes to Apple. When looking at trees in the distance, anything in shadow is gone; whereas the Galaxy and Pixel still has clear and obvious detail.
How come you didn't go over Pixel's audio eraser and compare it when you were talking about iPhone's new audio mix?
I like realistic photos and videos. I want it to be captured the way my eyes saw it so when I get old and I look back at my pictures I can see the world for how it really was
It's very distracting to watch this video when you add zoom-in animation to the photos. Plz don't do it next time...
4:56 Does anyone else notice how the iphone always has this slight haze to it? I really dislike that and prefer more clarity honestly.
I don't think it's an advantage having the super wide front camera, it means way more lens distortion. Notice how much more flatting the iPhone is etc in the selfies because of that.
what do you mean why flatting? In a good or bad way?
The Samsung probably overheated and made the screen darker
@@JustSenix Yeah, probably not.
all camera is beautiful....each cellphone is amazing its own right ❤
The fact that iPhone images are a little bit darker for less damaging on the cameras.
My man you make all of those videos and you never tell us the battery life on each of those, kind of a important feature to know dont you think? Just a tip.
Galaxy definitely creates the most amount of fake data. My favorite is the Pixel.
Please tell me which phone i have to buy i want your idea
Despite Pixel 9 Pro XL has less performance than the Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max but surprisingly, the image on the Pixel 9 Pro XL is much nicer than the 2 of them (both of them are too overrated than the Pixel 9 Pro XL).
I bought a pixel 9 pro xl and an s24 ultra. The pixel has a better camera. Now confused about which one to sell. I love the galaxy as I have a good ecosystem at home
Bro you are the Bob Ross of reviewers
iPhone in terms of everything 💯
Pixel takes amazing pictures 📸
Samsung gives best screens 🍿
I feel like people forget that the pixel has since last year Audio Eraser.
Thanks for sharing 👍😊😊
