OH? Try an MG midget or any Triumph product. When I was much younger Triumph Spitfire was my passion. Lucas brand electrical parts earned the name Prince of Darkness.
It happened to me I replaced the ground cable and cleaned the others including the positive post and terminal and I have no no problems anymore Thank you for your videos
I had the same problem. It was a pain in the rear to figure it out…. 5 dollar fix… but I couldn’t use my box truck for two weeks until I figured it out.:. Towing a box truck is ridiculously expensive…😢
Fan running when key on usually means the ECM is not booting up. Either is is not getting power on all three pins needed, or the problem is internal to the ECM. ua-cam.com/video/hRmXq4KRHdQ/v-deo.html
@@Ms.Frankenbuilder Patience and persistence will usually get them running. Keep trying the key and at some random point the van will start. Sometimes a jumpstart or few seconds on a battery charger will change the voltage enough to change the boot-up and bring success.
I'm learning wire can fail with age. I have much to learn and don't yet understand how copper wire stops being a good conductor, but apparently it happens after getting too hot too many times.
Never use the clamping side But instead use the terminal post or that nut that tightens the cable clamp to the battery just figure it out and secure it directly to the battery post as close as possible that's what I do now
It has been more than a year since this van left me but I think the start problem was due to a bad ground wire at the battery negative terminal. The connection at firewall was cleaned but problem persisted, eventually finding the wire was not connecting well in the lead battery clamp.
Thank you for your service from Kiel in Germany. Love your Videos.
Keep putting out those videos as we need them I have never owned a vehicle that has so many electrical and mechanical problems.

Good info, going to keep looking thru your channel, van won't start but it sounds like the fan is running.

@@FloridaVanMan Thank you, you are an awesome guy and I love your channel.
@@FloridaVanMan Thanks, I put my Duralast portable jumper on the battery and it started right up. You are the man when it comes to these vans.

Soooo… the fuse had nothing to do with the starting issue
