    Wow! Bus travel has indeed changed so much since I travelled through Peru in 1977 on buses. I remember a 36-hour bus trip [consisting of two whole nights] from Huancayo to Cuzco in the Andes. We were given the back two seats on the bus which were actually wooden seats with no legroom - you could not place your knees out in front of you. Buses then were built for the local Indian population who are shorter than we are! Also, the windows rattled all the time allowing clouds of dust from outside to permeate trough the bus - no tarred roads in the Andes then! The trip was up and down all the time, down into a river valley then up again like a rollercoaster! Looking forward to returning to beautiful Peru and travelling on those Cruz Del Sur buses!

    Those buses are very common in Peru , they are called bus-cama and are made locally by MODASA

    I remember these buses being more like an airline. We got a hot meal and everything. This was 13 years ago.

    Guys, Interesting way to travel a bus/motel and you are there. You should have had a couple beers or wines and you would sleep better and you next to the bathroom. Love the channel Stay safe and happy traveling in Peru. 🍔🍔🍷🍷🕵‍♂

    How long is the intervals between break stops- how many stops in total did they make? How far back in reality did it lean back and did you have to crook your knees when you put yoru feet up + recline?

    • @MaxandJacqueline
      @MaxandJacqueline  3 місяці тому

      Hi thanks for watching, it didn’t make any break stops, just the one stop in the morning where some passengers got off and we were able to run for a coffee. The recline was good probably 150-160° and Max is 6ft and had plenty of leg room. As a shorter person myself I actually wish the leg rest was higher because I slide down it too much so it’s better if you’re a bit taller

    So we are going to take your lead by actually taking the bus from Ica with the stop in Nazca and the morning stop. I see you found coffee but approx how long did the bus stay at the stop?

    • @MaxandJacqueline
      @MaxandJacqueline  2 місяці тому

      So the bus doesn't make any actual stops, this stop was to disembarque passengers, I rushed to find coffee because its my life source 😅 but it ended up being stopped for about 10-15 minutes. Enough time to duck in and grab a coffee, I turned left and went down the stairs when entering the terminal and there was a small cafe right at the bottom of the stairs.

    Welcome to Peru! Here we have excellent buses, there are even 180° buses, which are like a bed with a personal screen, and some of them give you massages. Sometimes I prefer to travel in this modality for the comfort and the landscapes, the bad thing is: the hours of the trip.
    If you are interested in 100% sleeper buses, companies like (Cruz Del Sur, Oltursa, Ittsa and EXCLUCIVA) have it. Greetings and welcome to all❤🇵🇪

      No it didn’t, most buses say they do and then it’s not working
