The book is Keeper of Enchanted Rooms by Charlie N. Holmberg. Oh, and another book where two high school rivals compete on their last day of high school and he confesses via yearbook signing. It was so sweet I think about it every week still, and it's been 2 years since I've read it! The book is Today, Tonight, Tomorrow by Rachel Solomon.
Me too! I want a private intimate moment with the person I love who chose to spend his entire life loving me. It needs to be specially just the two of us. Maybe a little engagement party after a few weeks with close friends and family would be fine.

I just feel like if someone surprised a proposal, being put on the spot with people watching and expecting for you to say yes is so pressuring. Even if you love the person, it doesn't feel as intimate or comfortable.
Number 4 was this place on Rome, a tourist spot (absolutely gorgeous) where people toss a coin in and make a wish, this is a very popular place for ppl to propose (I saw two proposals in an hour)

@ Good point honestly, and I’m not saying people have to if there are good reasons, especially financial. It just feels right if you want a family, yk? Like, why should the baby have the father’s last name before the mother does (if they change the baby’s last name)? And marriage (mostly) keeps people from cheating and having more partners. Dating is more flexible and it’s easier to leave. Not that you can’t leave a marriage, but marriage makes everything more official, that’s my reason 🤷♀️ but that’s also from a Christian’s point of view. Everyone’s different ❤️
