I LOVE that you zoom in and don’t have filters on. I can actually see the eyeshadow applying to your eye so clearly. THANK YOU! Forever one of my go to favorite channels.
Neons look best over a white base, so you can use a white shadow base or you can put down a white shadow, then pack the neon over it. I love neons to blend the outside edges of the shadow for extra pop.

I've been super tempted to pick up the large Viseart master palette, the ones with all the mattes in columns from light to dark & then just buy beautiful Indie metallics, duo & multichromes & call it done. This palette kind of gives me those vibes but in a paired down way. The first 3 -4? rows are so niiiiice, I mean those deep saturated matte shades are just yummy. I'm not very tempted by the shimmers though & I don't really have a need for "neon" shades either. If they sold a palette of just the first 3-4 rows of mattes, it would definitely be tempting just by the shade selection. I've seen Betty Jean do some really amazing eye looks with this brand ( what can't she make look amazing?)
I picked this up and I love it! I never got the original just because I have so many colorful palettes but the quality is making me rethink it. I love the dark grungy colors mixed with the pastels and neons. The shimmers are beautiful too, Flash is really soft tho! Love the look 🖤

I love both palettes the blend & surge, I definitely recommend the blend as well. Seeing multiple looks would be great! I enjoy watching doing this look and the neon do have a better color payoff with a white base.
... I already ordered both of these, before this video came up. 😅 So apparently, I was already kind of set on trying these. I have a lot of true pastels, pastel brights, and mid-tone brights, but not much as dark as even the 2nd row, so the 2nd and 3rd row are ESPECIALLY why I wanted Surge. Mattes are my love, I plan looks around mattes, I want all of the mattes. I have basically all of the pastel and pastel brights palettes, but basically only blacks to darken up outer corners, so if the mattes are 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻, I will be so, so glad to have this as a companion palette! 😭
Hey Deb 😙. How much did they charge you for shipping? It was $60AU+for Aussies, so i couldn’t justify that. Interested to know what it was for Europeans.

I recently purchased the Giant Wolves palette instead because the shipping was 9$ as opposed to $20 (crazy logic probably😝) and for some reason I still have an urge for this palette! I definitely struggled with the neons in this palette and that first shimmer came totally destroyed. I'm now understanding why after you have explained the texture.
I'm prolly in the minority here, but I think most brands, even drugstore can do decent mattes so I don't really get excited about mattes. I prefer buildable mattes anyway, so them not being extremely pigmented right off the bat isn't a issue. I do like the gradient of colors though.

I don't have the urge to buy it but I do have the urge to make my own grungy rainbow palette. The moment you put your finger into the shimmer and exclaimed "Oh lordy!" was so funny!
The green definitely felt like the weakest of the neons that I tried - the blue, purple and pink were all great! I haven't tried the yellow or orange yet.
I love the surge palette so far, but I have found the neon shades I have used so far are just okay. Not as bright as I would like. Everything else is great.

I love this palette, mine came with the shade "chills" broken... The company sent out a replacement 2 days later. That's excellent customer service 👍

I only want the dark middle row and should probably start on researching good dupes from the various brands doing single shadows.
