I never saw a Chevy 350 with a 3 on the tree before. I've seen Chevy pickups either with the 250 straight 6, 305, and 307 V8 with the 3 on the tree. Very sharp truck....and a time machine, too.
That's what the standard equipment trans was on most American-made vehicles that offered it - a 3 speed with column shift, as most American-made vehicles had a bench seat, and a column shift made it much more comfortable for the middle passenger.
Sweet lookin ride. 1973 was the first year for those generation Chevy & GMC fullsize pickups, SUVs, & medium dutys. They were produced up through 1991 except for the regular cab pickups & regular cab medium dutys. The half ton & three quarter ton regular cabs were the first models to be discontinued which was in 1987, & second the one ton regular cabs & regular cab medium dutys were discontinued in 1989.
What I thought. Last thing with the age of truck, regardless of miles, don't want to be feeding corroded gas(varnish) from the bottom of that old tank. And it's not good for the tank either over the years, inhibits rust and corrosion of the tank.
Wow! Now that’s a nice truck! All original 1973 Chevy C10 Cheyenne with a 350 Big Block V8! Count me in! I would love to drive one of those someday if I ever had a chance to. But anyways, awesome truck!
Bill from Curious Cars might be looking for a truck like this for his next video. Maybe he'll get lucky and have Peter's goats in the pickup bed. Definitely worth watching his channel, btw.
My 1st truck.❤❤❤c30.❤❤❤❤❤❤.
Such a beautiful truck. My favorite Chevy body-style truck!
True beauty. Loved these trucks when they came out, still have one today!

Beautiful.
I had a blue one ! I miss it so!😞
Strange how younger people don't like column shift. It is so much more convenient. And safer.
Better get some gas! Very nice '73

The 350 is a small-block. The old 348 is a Big Block.

To me, the tailgate doesn't look 1973 original, though. IMO looks more like a 78-80 tailgate.
The rest of the truck definitely 1973 original.
I noticed that too.
@@michaelbenardo5695Also, the temperature gauge is from 1980-84.
Does $26.5 buy it?
It sold for $75,000 just recently.
@@akcb3983 you can buy a new GMC 2500 for that,

That doesn't look like a 10,000 mile engine, and the breather tube is off at the air cleaner. Nothing like sucking dirty air into the engine!
