I still think it's criminal that The Punisher was cancelled. Jon Bernthal is absolutely perfect for this role. He was great in Fury too. Such a great actor.

@@radking9854 he's played countless roles both in theater and cinema/tv, just because you only know of the tough guy roles doesn't mean that's all he does. I've watched nearly everything he's done and there are far more that aren't tough guy than are.

@@tracyhaverstick5672 agreed! I was team Rick and hated Shane. Other actors who were still working their way up and then were killed off an extremely popular show might have let that get them down, but not Jon. I'm looking forward to the HBO series he has with David Simon.
@@gloworm106 I appreciate you speaking up. I expected to get slammed over what I said. I know that looks alone mean little. Though Jon Barenthal is not my type. He might be an ok guy. But honestly, I don't believe that he was that close to a mother bear. He admits to driving at deadly speeds. Other drivers be damned. And as pointed out, his ego was so hurt that he questioned a kids baseball team! As if they would admit it to him. If I was that girl, that would have been our last date. He could have got them both killed in multiple ways (again) for his ego. I did the math. When asked how long he had been married, he answered 11 years qs if that's a long time. Then he said they had been together 20 years. So if you believe how badly he wanted to impress this girl to win her over, he kept her waiting 9 years to marry her! Just saying.... He's no Rick ( Andrew Lincoln)! I love the part in Love Actually where he holds up those cards expressing his true feelings. ❤

This is such a good interview! Finally a celebrity that hasn't done these shows a millions times before, who is genuinely excited to be with Jimmy and has prepared well and who really wants to entertain the audience. The guy is absolutely brilliant.
Anybody else would have been butting in and ruining the flow of the story to compete for laughs. Jimmy let him rip and this interview was fabulous. I love Jimmy Kimball. Lol

I am hoping Marvel brings him back as the Punisher. He was brilliant, on par with Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock/Dare-devil. Jon is a class act and really makes watching his acting enjoyable. This man knows how to use emotions!

He really has range. Wolf of Wallstreet, King Richard, Punisher. His roles were starkly different and he really made himself visible in each project.

@@shoutatthesky Total BS. I have hiked that trail and I have confronted a mama bear and 2 cubs in the wilderness 5 steps away. He can learn and deliver a script...I'll give him that. No water on a 14 mile hike is suicide. Leaving your jeep top off at a trail head is ludicrously stupid. No one "talks" and reasons when they see a bear that close and personal. Nice, totally impossible "city boy" story.

I always liked him in his shows and movies but i had no idea he was such a fun guy and a born storyteller. One of the best interviews i've ever seen!

Jon Bernthal was great on king Richard! That movie was incredible! I always like him on Punisher. Hopefully they could do more of those again!! I also like him on the episodes of walking dead before to!

Bernthal crushed it in this movie. He is one of these actors that's going to get the right project that will have everyone recognize his talents. I see him like JK Simmons, tremendously talented at their respective crafts.
