Forte Seal Conditioner vs. BMW Doctor

- If you want to try Forte Seal Conditioner in your engine, read the instructions and be wary of the amount that your engine requires. In my case, I risked putting double the amount because I know how to fix engines if anything were to happen. My engine requires 2 bottles, and I put 4 because 2 didn’t seem to be working for me after 250 miles. After 4 bottles, my car runs the same as it was running before. I can’t really see too much improvement in the smoke after using Forte Seal, maybe a little bit but nothing drastic. But for sure, my engine is not worse than before.
I wouldn’t recommend doing what I did. Probably if the required amount doesn’t work for you, your valve stem seals are too far gone. As long as you don’t use an excessive amount of product (i.e. 8-12 bottles), I doubt that your engine will get worse from this.
I know that using these products is not the right way to fix this problem. The right and the best way is to replace the valve stem seals. - Авто та транспорт

Guys first check crankcase ventilation aka ccv pcv valves and hoses. Sometimes it looks like valve seals, and ticker oil from additives may help also.
Crap this doc has helped me out big time ive got a 22yr old bmw cabby it used oil blew smoke he recommended forte 2 bottles no oil use no smoke runs like new also car changed auto gears erratic the advice he gave me cost nothing that was 2 yrs ago no probs now doc knows his stuff

Change oil use 2 bottles of forte takes about a wk to start working i got a 22 yr old bmw it runs like new now no smoke no oil use

So currently I have the N62 engine with a lot of miles, like 291k miles. My car has been well maintained. I'm actually about to change the valve cover gasket and timing cover gasket, but the valve stem seal job is to big of a job for my experience. I've been using Barr Seal Conditioner and it seems to help reduce the idle smoke a lot. What is your opinion, and would dropping anything directly on the valve make any difference. I'm in the US just so you know. Thanks
Try to use thicker oil like 10w40 and try that Liqui Moly oil smoke stop. Your engine has already too many miles. I don’t recommend you to use any of these Seal Conditioner. I think you can put maximum 3 bottles of Liqui Moly, I would try first to put only 2. This is my opinion, probably i am wrong. Good luck
Bill Richardson sorry, I meant 5w40, you can also try 0w40 or 5w50. First grade is for winter, I would not recommend to go higher than 5w, second grade is when you engine is hot, the higher the number the thicker the oil is. Your engine smokes and you need thicker oil to reduce the oil consumption and hence the smoke. I would not use any additive if I go with thicker oil! Good luck!

Did u use it? What happened?
His advise is bad. One bottle of that stuff is fine via the crankcase. Adding 8 bottles is terrible advise. I have use AT 205 Reseal from the USA and had it shipped over and that has sorted my oil leaks on my BMW, much cheaper than stripping the engine down (if I had space and time I would)

So howd you fix the smoke, i used bars valve stem seal fix and it seemed to have fixed my little bit of oil consumption i had on my n62
How many miles did you do per quart of oil before and after?
Around 1000 miles before and after around 2000 miles

Have you done an oil change since adding the two bottles of liquid moly stop? if you did an oil change, is it just regular oil in it now? Does the engine still smoke?
I sold the car last month, it was not smoking that bad.

If you see the Videos of BMW Doctor in begining he say use Shell oil for N52 Motor and that oil is really good but je recomend 5-40w that After i Found it is so good recomandition as 0-30w or 5-30w.
After sometime he change the recomandition for Shell to another oil and so.
I Think for the replacement Videos are helpful but for adattives is all comercial.
It is better to use a Brand company as you mendon Liqui moly and maybe other.
