Somehow United are finding a way to win, they get outplayed most games but the most important stat is who wins
They fight harder than any other team and the chances we do get are usually clear cut unlike most other clubs
That logic is relevant for champions, winning titles. United don't even have a 1% chance of winning the title. So these scrappy, pathetic wins are weak.
@@tankourito5419 No not at all they help the chance of qualifying for Europe , how's that weak?
@@tankourito5419getting top 4 after the season we had would be an overachievement to say the least. so these wins are massive
Not recently, last 3 wins have been completely deserved.
We need to win ugly tho due to having no Martinez, we have been mediocre and getting slammed by the English press for months this season so the fact that we did the league double over the best Villa side in recent years who have beaten City and Arsenal in their turf deserves credit.
@@TheOne-po8bn exactly and these injuries don’t help either. At least our forwards are pitching in with the goal involvements.

Slow as it gets
Martinez injury last week is such a big deal...United would be a decent team if Martinez and Shaw were ok but the next weeks (maybe months). We will see United in shambles with the defense.
so if de bruyne and haaaland were out of the team would that automatically make city a mid table ? man u dont have depth of squad
I agree with jay morgan.
Your shambles with them in the team
Stop the cap they were shitty with the both of them on the pitch United fans are delusional plain and simple
we do have maguire and lindelof and evans who are alright, but martinez is so crucial to our defence, nobody can do what he does to our defence alongside varane@@Blobby192
We did well first half, once shaw was substituted it changed into a completely different game. it becomes sit back play defensively and wait to counter.
Thought RK said it was about the wins for them from this point, now we’re back to picking them part when they do?
I agree, keano is been inconsistent with his rants
it's part of his job, lol
Mark Goldbridge says it best,we have to win when we play badly, thats the difference between good and bad teams and this becoming a habit for us
That's a cliché it's said so often. And "Goldbridge" complains that his PlayStation experience hasn't landed him a punditry role on Super Sunday. 😂
Goldbridge said to back and support the team when they were up 1-0. As soon as they drew, he started showing his true colours and then back to his fake persona when they were up 2-1 😂 Dont always trust goldbridge
Hojlund helps a lot
He can play
Its a big issue the way we either hace our midfield bypassed in 1 or 2 passes or we lose the ball and the other team has 5 plauers running at the 2 players on defense.

Need a good few out and some players in right back left back central defence and central midfield .. shaw and Martinez great players but injured a lot of late and I don’t think varane and casimero have the legs to see games out
We played about as well as we can, every player was solid and yet we were clearly second best most of the game after goal. How villa couldn't finish several great chances. I don't see any scope for improvement like the end of last season, this is a good as it gets.
Man U can lose against anyone. Times have changed. I would t feel so confident for the matches coming up. As Roy Keane said, they need to look only at the next game.
I'm confident. Look at the run in, the only tough game is City 👍
Absolutely agree. This season has been one step forward, two steps back where we play amazing for one game, then make an absolute mess of the following match. United really need to treat each upcoming game like a cup final that will dictate how this season ends.
Keane still live in the past. United is just a mid table/top 4 team at best now
💯 Twerking for Man Utd
Garry Neville doesn't see Man United's patterns of play?...and he's supposed to be a coach

We dominated Chelsea
We literally dominated West Ham last week
@@ueuehdsuhdh4543 my nephews under 10 team would dominate west ham
We love you mr Keane
I think Roy Keane is being harsh. All teams give up chances, but it is vital we are scoring. Garnacho needs to improve his shooting, too.
The defence looking shaky and worrying whenever the opponent attack.
Man Utd should finish with 65 points. Whether it's enough for Champions League spot is another question
3:37 - the moment Keane turns and Neville bricks it 😂
I mean, losing the entire starting left-side of our defence by half-time, against a side that primarily threaten down that flank via Bailey, might have something to do with it
No doubt they where a bit lucky, but sometimes its those moments that turn things around. You get that bit of wind in your sail and you can capitalize and build momentum, the important thing is that the players start to believe and gain confidence
Villa played well and kept United under pressure. Massive three points for Man Utd at a tough place to visit.
It is all about the win Roy Keane. Good.
Maguire is poor with the ball at his feet, this is always going to be a problem and his ability to recover from mistakes is practically none.
PROBLEMATIC . FOOTBALL .

@@ChronicTheHempHog-mf3nhworst
They didn't miss any chances if the keeper saves it or a defender blocks it then it's good goalkeeping and defending simple as that
Oh behave sausage. Ye teams shite ye get lucky everyweek without fail
Exactly
Man Utd priority has to be a quality centre back, maybe even two. Varane's contract runs out this summer, and Maguire turns 31 next month.
Yeah, United can’t keep buying attackers. They need defenders. Especially ones that don’t make Harry Maguire-esque mistakes.
I thought varane deal runs out in 2025?
@@robertnapier624man of the match btw
Need at least 2 brilliant midfielders. No offence to Casemiro but his passing is getting more risky and his speed is going. Bruno is a disgrace in some matches and brilliant in others, but he doesn’t have any holding game nor does he go inside the box for headers like Mctominay. Mount being absent is hurting the midfield that gets run over far too easily. Centrebacks are good, Onana is decent in premier league but they look shaky all the time.
Moving forward and upwards
United have made this mistake in the transfer market over and over. Concentrating on buying attacking players instead of getting cover for the back four and marking down a proper defense. Once you bring in quality defenders it takes the pressure off your midfield and you concede less chances. It's not rocket science.
Maybe I was watching a different game but it was a lot closer than these lot are making it out to be. We had chances too, and we took the most important ones to win the game. Considering the opposition and their form at home, it's a great result.
A team that are awful, poorly coached, play in moments, cannot keep the ball, cannot defend are a few points off 4th. A decent coach with these players would not put out a team that is so easy to get at. How do they give up so much space around their goal?
How can we be consistent when we constantly have to rotate the squad due to injuries, we lose a player a game.
Sometimes best teams play bad football just to win, that's what make them champions, we have seen that with Martinez and Shaw the team improves massively. So we need to focus on winning not at playing good football
Hojlund summarising everything wrong with United with that celebration in the SM goal. Shushing the crowd? Too much focus on their image and not enough on playing football.
a win is a win
Keane spot on.
Very baffling how maguire got motm. He was an absolute liability for United today. On another day he would have conceded 3-4 goals if villa were more clinical.
Who decides these awards haha
Don't know what game you were watching!
@@polaris7122 I watched the game with a group of United fans who had nothing but bad things to say about maguire, he was poor
Being without Martinez is like Liverpool being without Van Dyk or arsenal without Saliba. Difference is we don’t have depth. Of course they’re going to conceded chances.
Villa we without konsa and Torres... Utd didn't create that many chances against villas 2nd choice defence. Utd were awful today.
Villa could have scored 4 or 5 easily. Poor finishing from them. Very poor result against a team on a fake run.
roy cant even get away with that trim and hes got the audacity to comment on maguire
They've been getting away with it...
The teams Keane played in were average at best nothing close to Guardiola or The New Arsenal style.
Steve Bruce would make maguire look like a league 2 player
Agree totally we got away with it somehow. Great 3 points
Roy just always keeps it real 💯
I think we need to sign a good ball playing cb and create spaces in midfield to relieve pressure otherwise we would get smashed
He will never say that to Arsenal’s games
This game could have been 5-2 and i doubt anyone can argue but for all we said about Onana we have to give him credit he came up with some huge saves today. Villa will be kicking themselves
Who are they on about at the start ?
Maguire
Story of our season tbh. The amount of chances we give the opposition per game is shocking & thata we we need to control the game better. Martinez & Shaw are so pivotal to how we play when they aren't on the pitch it clearly shows. Their ball playing is badly missed. Somehow we found a way to win & that's all that matters really
Roy claiming Spurs are afraid of United behind them, pfffttt. Played twice already, home win, away draw with a bench with 2 goalies and 3 U20s. Newport County didn't fear United Roy.
Its true we conceded loads of chances. One that sticks out is Luizs chance after a poor clearance by Dalot. Easily couldve scored if he connected but then we had a good chance with Garnacho hitting it just wide. Draw wouldve been fair but Man Utds subs made the difference
yeah, house of cards in defence.
There is clearly patterns of play at utd. Why do people say that?
That's it gary believe 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Correct Gary, City away is a freak in that everybody loses to them. And it's destroying the game.
Especially now De Bruyne & Haaland are back. They just take city to a different level attacking wise. You’ve got the best assister in the league feeding balls into a guy who can score all type of goals once he’s in the final third.
@@caseyfalconer7347 we didn't need the glazing
Ever seen a City player get substituted because they were looking tired? 💉💉
Yeah but a win is a win
Got away with it alright but hit the target to seal it
United need a creative player who can find the strikers.. there is a certain Turkish player playing for benfica who could be a boss signing
I agree United let Villa far too many occasions. I have the feeling our defenders aren't the worst, there must be something to change tactically at training
Keane spot on as usual. Neville just talking for talkings sake as usual! You don't know what you get from United from week to week.
Pretty obvious for 60 minutes that we needed another midfielder or that Bruno would come down and play alot nearer Casemiro and Mainoo because they where overrun with Aston villas 4 midfielders
Goldbridge 2 favourites help them Scott mctominay and Andre Onana
Gary Gary Gary come on guys give us a moment
We got dominated by Villa. Onana saved us!

Yeaah it happened under Fergie too,its not always perfect Roy
Villa could have scored 4 or 5 easily. Poor finishing from them. Very poor result against a team on a fake run.
@ReelRewindRetro They were the home team, so you expect them to make some chances ,United are improving 😉
The difference in enthusiasm between Paul Merson and Roy Keane talking about the same thing is astounding. Why do they give air time to these former players who just seem to hate football. Your former team won, Roy, get over yourself.
Roy Keane bashing neville like he would've in the dressing room for underestimating an opponent
Keano got that right. Martinez is United's best defender, unfortunately it's likely he'll be missing for a couple of months. But one player shouldn't make the team. They're still way behind City, Liverpool and Arsenal, that's a fact, and well behind Spurs also.
when maguire and rashford are in the team, you won't see "patterns and styles of play", yet lets keep patting maguire on the back for being mediocre, good job sky lol
So true, they try to big up the English lads but both are very poor ball players.
Keane and Neville would make incredible managers wouldn't they. Oh wait...
Onana made 3 excellent saves. Should've mentioned that when he's always trashed otherwise.
Maguire and Onana take too long on the ball even when there's a clear pass to a teammate, Bruno offers nothing to the team. The Mctominay effect could also work for Bruno if he comes off the bench late in games
Thats Their Job
Keane secretly adores Maguire.
Thats a great result for united, people have to be realistic, they arent the united of old.
Bodies on the line win. Needed
You can concede 1 chance, and he won't be happy. This guy has a mentality that's unmatched
Roy always Positive lol
"He's a threat in both boxes" - best way to describe Maguire LOL
"If i was playing next to him id want him in my team"
Only Merse could make that work!!😂
They lose, you criticise, they win, you criticise. Why not look at the positives?
It sounds like Keane is being harsh or pessimistic, but as if to prove his point the table comes up and shows a goal differential of ZERO. That is wild to me for a club challenging for European spots.
he need reality check how many times under SAF we had scrappy away wins ?
This is the Liverpool way of winning; give the opposition lots of chances and hope they miss them. 👍
Keano is right. This football is not only dreadful but it’s unsustainable especially when trying to compete in the long term. We keep getting away with it when we win. We’re due a proper drumming soon. A team is going to take their chances against us and the level of ball retention is shocking. Minus Mainoo, Martinez (injured) and Casemiro its a dreadful side in terms of keeping the ball. It pains when you see the likes of Aston Villa who have less quality but are a much better organised unit that create chance after chance. Imagine what they would do if they had a tad more quality.
Bunch of negative minded people. Always looking for reasons to complain when clearly the good is outweighing the bad.
You conveniently forget the chances United wasted,United took 2 Villa 1+that is all that matters,do you think United scoring late goals pretty regularly is a fluke or an "upping" of their game?
