What Jamie Redknapp wants us to know is why is Ange doing what he wants in 6 months time while ETH has been there for a season and a half and there is nothing to show us for. Even the style of play. I get Keane’s overall point to a certain extent, but he’s frequently unable to see past results when he analyses games. He doesn’t seem to be able to credit teams that play well if they don’t get the win. Similarly, he doesn’t seem to critique teams that play poorly if they don’t lose.
This level of copium is ridiculous. You think the world revolves around United. They are not being unfair to United. If you were a true fan you'll be outraged by what you are seeing.
Nobody is getting excited Roy, Spurs played quite well despite missing key players. Just like you provided context for United saying they’re ‘not at their best’ and it’s ‘just about surviving’ you should do the same for spurs. They’re missing several key players and only a few months into a new project and still played United off the park. They also have a style of play which ten hag hasn’t managed to implement despite being in the job for 18 months. So yeah it’s only a point but that’s why you consider context, not just in favour of your beloved United.
Bruno is honestly cruising the criticism this season because others are noticeably worse. But his defensive work rate has cost us multiple goals this season. Bentancur was his man for the second equaliser and he stopped tracking him and he ran into open space on the D where he was defending absolutely nothing. He was tracking Bentancur all the way until Bentancur came short and then Bruno just decided not to bother continuing to track him or put himself between Bentancur and the goal.

I don’t mind if we let in goals as long as we score more goals than we let in. We dominated second half, but our attackers and midfielders ain’t it. Johnson was very poor today. When Tottenham are fully fit it's a top 3 side in the League now. Ange starting at Tottenham reminds me of early days of Klopp at Liverpool. Picking up the pieces and building a side to compete. With Ange it's happened in the first 6 months. Not many or none would of said that.
When he drops a player it's an issue when he plays a player it's an issue. How does anyone know if verane Casemiro, Antony and Martinez were his signing with the evidence from past transfer windows.
I just hope the Top 4 at the end of the season includes these 4 teams.... City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs. Would really want to see these teams and how they would perform in the UCL next season
It’s sad to see how far united have fallen. The days of United being competitive in Europe is something everyone wants to dream of returning, except for Liverpool and Man City fans obviously
Utd played pretty well tbf, they created some good chances, but I never expected them to win snd a draw was fair. Utd’s defence is simply not good enough to be challenging.
I disagree, he’s always been consistent I think the issue is all attention on ten hag again when there’s other managers like Arteta and poch who walk away Scott free after losing a game and especially Arteta who takes no accountability for his team dropping points. When United lose, ten hag takes all the blame and abuse from the media. Threatened with the sack every other week by the media. It’s the club Keane captained of course when there’s a witch-hunt to get the manager out, the player in Keane wouldn’t be having it and that’s what he’s doing here. If only we had that leadership on and off the pitch. Not keanes fault everyone gets so worked up about United results. If spurs were that good they’d have won the game. Otherwise why didn’t they?
What Ten Hag did with Ajax is irrelevant. Mourinho won the CL with Porto in 2004. I think Mourinho should not had been fired. He won the EL in 2017 and finished second the year after. With City at this level, that was the maximum achievement.
That's what I've been saying for years. Mourinho couldn't have done any better with that squad against that City side. But because of past achievments, the only measure of success for him was to win the league. That was not fair.
Keane is right, that's where United are at the moment. Did they expect anything any different ? United were easily beaten by Bournemouth at Old Trafford. What are Neville and Redknapp expecting ? Same problem we've had for years now and that's no proven Premiership goal scorers in that striking position. Lacking fire power.

And yet we, (Spurs) played more like a cohesive team. @@jimmyf1446 well of course Spurs were knackered, I'm not debating that. But you can't refute the impact of Martinez, you clearly saw the difference in play style when he came in to play. And United didn't have a lot of players to bring in either, Mctominay and Antony aren't really much better than Bryan Gil.
Under Ole they did okay vs high line defense by counter attacking, Maguire for example was a good player when they're playing in their own box. He could just knock balls away. But vs teams that UTD was expected to win against, they did horribly. Maguire was slow and clumsy with the ball, the attackers lacked teamwork and creativity. Maguire wasn't on the pitch now, and Ole is gone yet we're back to the same dilemma as back then lol. Getting dominated by Spurs B squad, but have a chance at winning because of the counter attacks

I am from Holland. Ten Hag said in Dutch at Viaplay that they dont have the right winger and left back to play like he did at Ajax. That is the interview Neville refers to. For me that is nonsense. Cause Antony played at Ajax also 4-3-3 and Malacia at Feyenoord also. And if those players are not good enough. He should had bought other players himself. Everybody can play like Ajax. Wim Jonk, who was coach in Holland, also played like that with an other team in the Dutch League.
Man U & Chelsea are the same. Go over pay for a bunch of talent that has no identity or cohesion on the pitch but individuals with great highlight vids. Both good value teams to bet against.
man united were only missing 1 player shaw. If they wanted they could of started martinez and casemiro but that was down to the mamager. Where was spurs where missing son, kulu, sarr, bissouma, maddison. So technically yeah man u did miss A PLAYER, but its no way near as bad as spurs missing 5 come on
Starting Martinez and Casemiro when they're unsure they are 100% fit is a risk at the end of the day. You're not putting in a player who you're not 100% sure is going to perform for 90min
I love nothing more than ETH to be given a new 3 year deal and another 400m to waste. Secondly LFC to win the league title & Manchester United to finish the season 12th. As this was the league position they were in when we won our last first division title. ETH has spent 400m and is playing Oleball.
Ange is doing what ETH did last year. Stop giving these half season coaches this praise love ETH for doing what he's already done. His style of play went out the window when the players he brought in to improve that style of play were injured or the players who were there last season went out injured or in a couple players haven't performed. His style falters when his lead CB is out and he's stuck with a guy he tried to sell and a 35yr old he brought in for back up. When he's relying on an unproven 18yr old in CM. This is going to be like Liverpool season last year, where they had so many missing they just couldn't cope.
So by your logic then once ten hag gets some of his players like mount malacia back they will push on and challenge at the top ?? If you compare utd to Liverpool who have been at the top with city for 3 years you've already lost .. utd after 1 season and a few injuries and your comparing them to Liverpool from last season who dipped after 3 or 4 years of great football and winning the major trophies? Logic ?
ETH has a style. MU don’t . That’s the problem. The fact that he has bought players in and still can’t implement his style….and never will , because the players are t good enough to play the way he wants.
I hate to say it but aside from Mainoo and possibly Bruno, United need a whole new midfield. Right now they have 2 types of midfielders, 1) Athletic with bad technical ability 2) good technical ability but old and slow. United need some young, up and coming midfielders who have pace and athleticism and who can read the game and make a pass on a consistent basis. Also aside from Martinez, Dalot, and possibly Varane and Shaw, the back line needs a major overhaul.
And the players, they are apparently, unable to play in the style that the manager wants. Are we really expected to believe that Utd can't play out from the back because the player's are physically/mentally unable to play that way? I simply have no idea what Ten Hag is doing?

It’s always always the deeper problems with Manchester United. We all know that it’s there. What Jamie Redknapp wants us to know is why is Ange doing what he wants in 6 months time while ETH has been there for a season and a half and there is nothing to show us for. Even the style of play. That’s what he meant. He’s comparing managers. Both teams suffers setback, injuries. So why does Ange has a style of play in 6 months while the other has none for a season and half. That’s it.
Ange would win United the league?
@@crazyshit2966 what? No. What Jamie Redknapp mean is Ange is at Tottenham for 6 monthd and he has shown his style of play or he has the identity. While ETH has been there for a season and a half and he still has ni clear style or identity.
ange was allowed to get rid of players like dier and lloris? you cant do that at united
Roy Keane is brilliant 👍👍😄
Don’t worry everyone is very relaxed about Man United, their season is effectively over with still no signs of any playing direction
I get Keane’s overall point to a certain extent, but he’s frequently unable to see past results when he analyses games. He doesn’t seem to be able to credit teams that play well if they don’t get the win. Similarly, he doesn’t seem to critique teams that play poorly if they don’t lose.
30% possession at home Roy, what you saying about that boy?

Man Utd draw - Talk about United

Roy Keane was bang on I don’t remember onana making a save
Nobody is getting excited Roy, Spurs played quite well despite missing key players. Just like you provided context for United saying they’re ‘not at their best’ and it’s ‘just about surviving’ you should do the same for spurs. They’re missing several key players and only a few months into a new project and still played United off the park. They also have a style of play which ten hag hasn’t managed to implement despite being in the job for 18 months. So yeah it’s only a point but that’s why you consider context, not just in favour of your beloved United.
With all that, they still didn't win the game!!
Mate. We thought the same about united last season! And now look at us!
Exactly.....
United have also got plenty of injuries.. weird how nobody mentions that

@@omgwerockhard Impossible, Rashford has proven year in year out, he can't do much when he can't run like a headless chicken
The bus driver got praise😂😂😂
Keane a little harsh spurs had c.backs only back from injury missing there midfield and 3or4 down with flu all week so a point was good...but spurs should have won if been better with the final ball
He's a secret Spurs fan since childhood, so he's hard on them because he's frustrated and wants them to win
I don’t mind if we let in goals as long as we score more goals than we let in. We dominated second half, but our attackers and midfielders ain’t it. Johnson was very poor today. Richalison scored, but overall he wasn’t good. Werner will improve for sure, he just need confidence. Happy for his assist tho. Defense is good, but we let in goals too easy at times.

No one seems to mention the players as usual. 3/4 of the team today were not his signing.

But because 1. we managed to dominate Man United in the 2nd half, 2. draw against Man United without our star players being available or that have gone out to represent their country, and lastly with Van der Ven and Romero, that has been missing in action for over 6 weeks, we manage to get a result. Cause Antony played at Ajax also 4-3-3 and Malacia at Feyenoord also. And if those players are not good enough. He should had bought other players himself. Everybody can play like Ajax. Wim Jonk, who was coach in Holland, also played like that with an other team in the Dutch League.

Spurs first 11 is now as good as anyone's except for City. Ange is a brilliant manager.
They was saying the same thing about ETH when we was flying last feb , short term memory
