I’ve been telling people since high school that just cause a style is easier to apply doesn’t make it better or more practical. Quan Fa is hard to learn because you are required to unlearn your natural physical instincts in fighting. But once you get the hang of it, it’s damn there impossible to beat. I was charged with Disorderly Conduct and found guilty for using Tiger Style Kung Fu on a guy when I was 18 years old. The system works
Interesting I guess this is what one. Would call soft and hard attacks. Also it looks like he targeting the pressure points on the body. Now I'm gonna have to watch that fight scene In the first Ip Man movie. Where he takes on like 10 karate guys.
Hi Adam, love your videos on techniques similar to what I teach although demonstrating applications isn't sparring. I would love to see some sparring footage against other arts with yourself using these techniques in real time. Problem we have as teachers is applying them in a sparring atmosphere and that usually makes or breaks a teachers content. Sure sparring isn't street fighting but we can learn from sparring against other arts and not our students. Great traditional applications you show totally similar to what I teach if not the same but sparring will prove that our kung fu works in real time against others not our students or friends showing techniques. Do you have any real time sparring clips if you do I haven't seen them. regards Sifu G
Ultimately "social violence" has a utility in training. Applications against greater resistance is necessary to learn. You can go soft - but you do need to go for real without ripping and tearing your opponent. There needs to be a place between all or nothing in order to learn. You cannot stop people from fighting, but you can teach kungfu. Teachers need to let go of pugilism just as much as the nefarious governments do(who never will.). Or all these arts will be lost and forgotten. As i can attest to the rapture of never having to damage my joints with MMA/boxing/kick boxing footwork. I agree assassination techniques shouldn't be taught over open feeds on the internet. But it is at a point now - where kungfu is seen as fiction. Because no one wants to ever risk anything at all. People go to scrap in places in china for a reason. It is the only eay to get that kind of experience. Might must be tested.
What videos? Cause the UA-cam channel “Fight Commentary Breakdowns” has SEVERAL videos of styles like Wing Chun, Xing Yi, Jeet Kune Do working in real fights

Train for real not for art
The Art is for the REAL.
The handling of reality is supposed to be at such a masterful level that it's an art form
I know Kung fu or martial arts 🥋 🎨, it real ,but we the people, want to know how to protect yourself in the street.???

No , Kung- Fu is real. I've been in China 2x it's real Shaolin Temple in Henan China is real the birthplace of Kung-Fu
Kung-fu always looks great during demonstrations, but not so great in a real life fight. Tons of video's online to providing this.

🤡🤡🤡
Why do people always say "real fight" when what they actually mean is "fight match"? These are not even remotely the same.
@ because they don’t know what they’re talking about
So you are telling China does not have soldiers who dont know how to fight
