Me too. After a family tragedy a couple of weeks ago, I have sworn myself to try and be a better person beginning with me and extending out. Good luck to both of us to succeed.
You are always an inspiration for me, and I really enjoy your floss tubes. My goal for 2025 is mainly to reorganize my cross stitch charts and fabric. My floss is in good order, but I’m revamping the rest. I’m also a quilter, but I feel good about that area. Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us. ❤🎉
I did not make a resolution but I have picked a word for the year. HEALTH is my word, I want to work on, be aware, make changes on my personal physical health, and on my mental & emotional health also. This also extends to my relationships, I want those relationships with my family and friends to be healthy and vibrant. Happy New Year.
My resolution is to get more organized both with my stash and my home. I need to do a good purge of the house. Love the new Collector’s Heart from Heart and Hand. Have a Happy New Year!
I gave up making resolutions years ago 😂. We spent our New Year's pretty quiet, as we always do. Just made some appetizers, played a board game, watched an old movie, saw the ball drop, and went to bed. I love a cozy, at home New Year's 😊
My word or goal this year is a little different…”Think” using this for a my life habits. Before speaking, eating, stitching or buying fabric. Tks for all you do for our community! 🎉
I usually don’t make New Year’s resolutions but really want to keep up the momentum from 2024 with exercising and staying healthy with better food choices. Exciting news on the retreats!
As an elderly widow I don't do much for New Years anymore but enjoy the day with my puppy and my crafts. I also don't do New Years resolutions anymore, only cause I never kept them. What I have been doing the last few years is deciding what stitching craft I would focus on in the new year. This year is cross stitch which I use to do years ago but had to quit cause of eye problems. Since I can see better now I decided to give it a try again. I have already completed 3 mini projects and do try to work on only smaller things. I'm going to go to your website and check out your monthly minis, they sound like fun.
Happy New Year! I don’t necessarily have a New Year’s resolution, but my desire is to be a blessing to friends and family and even strangers. A smile, a kind deed, a prayer. . . That’s my plan.
My resolution is to get totally organized with my stitchy stuff! I have my stash everywhere and need to get it all in one place! 🙂. For New Years, 3 of my friends and I have a tradition for a girls night. We go out for lunch on the 31st then later go through a Christmas light display then go back home and watch movies until almost midnight when we celebrate with a glass of champagne then watch the new years festivities for a while. We’ve been doing this for over 10 years!!! Happy New Year!!
My resolution is to have more patience with people this year. It was a difficult year selling a second home with many roadblocks. So this year I will have more patience with others.
I always type up my "cross stitch intentions" for the year. Then I check off what I've done (and then some!) I have had a very prolific year in 2024 so my new resolution is not to "cross stitch like it's my job" (as my husband says!). I hope to attend one of the retreats this year--I'll add that to the list! I love the Pioneer Woman! And you are living my dream!
I want to be more accepting this year. There are so many difficult circumstances in the world today that I can’t control. Do what I can and leave the rest. Spread joy and kindness is within my control.
I don’t make New Year Resolutions but I decided to make a list of all the things I want to stitch in 2025. My husband and I are like you and Terry. We spent a quiet evening at home. Happy New Year! I hope to visit your shop again soon.
No resolutions just enjoy retirement staying close to home. Happy New Year! I love how you finished the Love sheep virtues. I’ll have to pull that one out and stitch it.
Not making a resolution but my word of the year is health - so I am trying to be healthier this year. New Years Eve I stayed home with my husband and we had steak, salad, and crab meat stuffed mushrooms.
The retreats sound fun! I have never been to an in person retreat. My resolution is to work less this year. I worked over 300 hours over time in 2024. I work in healthcare so I would like to think I made a difference in someone’s life. However, I want to focus more on myself and my family in 2025.
I don't do New Years resolutions. I am hoping to have a year of "calm" in my life. I want to try to not procrastinate in finishing my projects. I am going to try in January to get many of my quilting, embroidery and cross stitching projects fully finished and not to let this years things pile up. If I don't finish projects I cannot enjoy them. Thanks for all the inspiration with finishing projects.
I don’t generally make New Years Resolutions but one goal for this year is to set up my craft room. I’m recently retired and we moved up to the Adirondacks. I want to get back into cross stitching, sewing, and crafting. I also want to learn how to quilt (with the help of my sister).
Happy New Year! My resolution for this year is to declutter my home. I have already started with my bedroom closet. I have sorted thru clothes and shoes and donating several bags.
My New Year’s resolution is to make better food choices and exercise more. It seems as I get older, it’s harder for me to stay on track! Happy New Year!
Good morning and Happy 2025!!! My New Year’s resolution is to fully finish things I stitch this year … especially trying to get it done right after they are stitched!
Happy New Year and Abundant Blessings to you and your family. No resolutions for me this year. Just going to enjoy my retirement and hopefully get some travel time this year.
I didn't really make any New 🎉 Year 🎊 resolution. But, any more what I generally do is redetermine myself to do my long resolutions. Those goals are to read the Bible and pray more everyday; be neat, tidy and organized so that I never waste time getting back to it; stick to eating a mainly strict keto diet (lost 100 pounds 6 years ago and have kept it off); keep my stitchy book of days without fail and stitch every single day even if it's only a few minutes; and to get at least a couple quilts made during the year.
My New Years Resolution is two fold. One is to do Chair Yoga twice a day for 7 minutes each. The other one is to be able to go down the stairs to the lower level of our home. It should be achievable as I have had some partial practice. I’ve had both knees replaced and have lymphedema in my legs.
Last year my resolution was not to buy any crafts but I did get lots of hammy downs. (Free). This year is to finish lots of UFO’s. I have a few cross stitch finishes to complete and quilts to finish.
My plan is to spend part of my day working on xstitch , quilting or bag making before I spend too much time on the computer. It's been too easy going down the rabbit hole of on-line time.
My resolution this year is to reach my health goals. I made huge progress in 2023 and then 2024 I just sort of maintained without much improvement. Now in 2025, I'm determined to be more focused and hopefully more successful!
Love the reservation system you are implementing, makes perfect sense. I don’t make New Year’s resolutions anymore, nor did we do anything for New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, lol. Pretty boring, right!?! 😝
My resolution is to volunteer long term in some sort of community service so that when I do sit to enjoy my cross stitch, I won't feel that bit of guilt that sometimes arises when I may have spent too much of my days and or nights in my world of cross stitch and all that it entails.
No, I don't because by day 3 I've already broken it. Pawhuska, OK. (Pioneer Women) is going to be so fun. It's a small town but lots to see in it. There is a buffalo reserve just outside of town that is fun to drive through and of course there is always the Drummond Ranch to see.
Until I lost my puppy Stanley at the end of September, we were walking two times a day. He really held me accountable because he loved his walks. As the holidays got closer, and the weather got colder and I got busier, I wasn’t walking a lot. So on January 1st I started my two walks a day routine. It’s been pretty cold and foggy for us and it doesn’t look like that is going to change for awhile, so I’m making myself go out. I’ve been pretty lucky because the fog has cleared and I am getting used to walking in mid to high fifties weather. I live in SoCal and it’s usually in the 60’s so it’s kinda cold for us. I try to walk 2 mikes a day so hopefully I can continue. It’s only the third day but so far so good. I also want to finish some WIPS that are pretty big so I’m trying to take two large WIPS a week and work on them three times. I also decided to stitch a blessing sampler. I’m also trying not to buy new patterns but rather choose ones I have had awhile. We’ll see how that goes when Needlework Market happens in March. I think your idea of letting people place a reservation in advance for fabric is a wonderful idea. I’m not a quilter, although I have quite a lot of finishing fabric, I would definitely take advantage if I was. Happy New Year!
I want to learn how to use my sewing machine. I’ve done nothing with it, it’s still in the box. I’ll look for some tutorials on how to set it up and get started
My New Years Resolution this year is to “Learn to Live”! I know it sounds odd, I lost my husband June 20, 2024. We have been married 45 years. December 23 is our 46th anniversary, for the past 6 months I have felt like my world has stopped. Having to go through the motions for my adult children and my grandchildren has been rough. My family has been there for me, (no one in my family that is living has lost their husband) but I feel so lost and I really want 2025 to be year to can learn to live for ME! I’ve always been there for everyone, now I need to be there for me!
Your background of finishes is fabulous! Can you please tell me the pattern name for that adorable November Turkey & the February lovebirds (& are they your designs or do you sell them) Thank you & Happy Stitching!
I chose a word for this year and it is Time … I need to use my time more wisely … I enjoyed your video this morning and so until next time Happy Stitching 🧵… 😊❤ Dena

My New Year resolutions are to read my Bible more and lots and lots of cross stitch. Happy New Year!
My New Year’s resolution is to be a better person than the year before. Thank you Elayne!

Happy New Year! My New Years resolution is to be positive. Smile at every friend or stranger. Thank you for sharing all the stitchy goodness. 😊

NEW YEAR EVE STAYED HOME WATCH THE BALL DROP IN TIME SQUARE AND HAD VERNORS WITH CHERRY TO BRING NEW YEAR IN. VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.

My 2025 New Year's resolution is to kick the sugar habit. Loved the video, Elayne! Thank you for all you do for stitchers!!!

Happy New Year! On New Year's Day, I always watch the Rose Parade on TV. I love seeing all of those beautiful floats.
I don't make resolutions, instead I pick a focus word. Last year was JOY, this year is Faithful. ❤
I don’t make New Year Resolutions but I decided to make a list of all the things I want to stitch in 2025. My husband and I are like you and Terry. We spent a quiet evening at home. Happy New Year! I hope to visit your shop again soon.

Happy New Year. My New Year’s resolution is to organize things in my home, record keeping and cross stitch supplies, charts and projects!!
Happy New Year Elayne and Terry! My resolution is to walk more! Wish me luck! 🌺🌷❤️💕
I have not made a new year resolution. This year I made it a point to stay up till midnight and wish my kids a happy new year
I don’t do resolutions but pick a “motto” to follow for the year. This year it is intention.
I just want to be mindful in my choices this year, time is going by very quickly and I want to make the most of every minute!
Not making a resolution but my word of the year is health - so I am trying to be healthier this year. New Years Eve I stayed home with my husband and we had steak, salad, and crab meat stuffed mushrooms.

Good morning and Happy New Year! My New Year's resolution is to pay off my credit card debt. Have a fantastic week and see you soon.
As I have just retired I would like to spend more crafting, with my husband and cross stitching my stash!
Happy New Year and Abundant Blessings to you and your family. No resolutions for me this year. Just going to enjoy my retirement and hopefully get some travel time this year.
My New Year's resolution is to my craft room organized and so I have been doing good on that
Mine is more of a goal than a resolution. I'm working on getting things better organized and then I hope to finish more projects this year!
I didn't really make any New 🎉 Year 🎊 resolution. But, any more what I generally do is redetermine myself to do my long resolutions. I am going to try to take better care of myself. Need to stick to this! lol happy new years! Enjoyed your floss tube.

My resolution is to give myself more grace. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect all the time and that’s okay
No resolutions, just working on a better life and getting my husband ready for retirement.❤
Happy New Year! One of my New Year's resolutions is to work on completing items my crafting stash. lol ❤
Last year my resolution was not to buy any crafts but I did get lots of hammy downs. (Free). This year is to finish lots of UFO’s. I have a few cross stitch finishes to complete and quilts to finish.
Happy New Year to you and the Team. I didn’t make any resolutions this year. I am a little behind on my 2025 goals.
I did not make a resolution this year, I just reflected on my life and how to move forward. New years for my husband and I was very quiet.
My plan is to spend part of my day working on xstitch , quilting or bag making before I spend too much time on the computer. It's been too easy going down the rabbit hole of on-line time.
I did not make a resolution this year, as I worked all week. Guess that was the last thing on my mind
Happy New Year
I never do resolutions because I never stick with them. But, I do plan to stitch more this year!!
My resolution this year is to reach my health goals. I made huge progress in 2023 and then 2024 I just sort of maintained without much improvement. Now in 2025, I'm determined to be more focused and hopefully more successful!

I want to find myself and take care of me in this New Year
Until I lost my puppy Stanley at the end of September, we were walking two times a day. He really held me accountable because he loved his walks. No resolutions per se but I did set goals. There are quite a few but several are crafty related, like making one card a week!
My New Years resolution is less cross stitching. My hand hurts. I love all patterns. 😂
Happy New Year!🎆 I didn’t really make a resolution just a goal to read 50 books this year.
I don’t do resolutions but I do set goals and plan to do 12 projects in 12 months in 2025.
Good morning, New Year , I'm don't have a New Year. I'm working stitch New Good Year , and New Year 2025. So finished New Year. 😊
I want to learn how to use my sewing machine. I’ve done nothing with it, it’s still in the box. I’ll look for some tutorials on how to set it up and get started

I don’t make resolutions, New Years Day was watching football and a lot of stitching.

No resolutions, taking more time to be with family and mire quilting and stitching.
No resolutions here, spent new years with the family munching out and playing cards against humanity.
I chose a word for this year and it is Time … I need to use my time more wisely … I enjoyed your video this morning and so until next time Happy Stitching 🧵… 😊❤ Dena
