I know some people are allergic to long winded videos but I can't thank you enough for taking your time to walk through every small detail of configuring addons for this game. Just started playing yesterday and this'll be a huge help getting used to some of the commonly used addons while also getting a hang of the game.
Have watched a few of your videos, but only found out on this one you're actually on my server. So thanks for the work you put in and hope to thank you in game eventually

I got the GearSwap addon to work then I tried to go back and follow the Make FFXI Beautiful in 2020 and that worked, but it removed my GearSwap on screen. Now I'm troubleshooting going back to watch both videos and I'm currently at no HD and no GearSwap lol...still working on it...
Ok, apparently my scripts folder was duplicated and I had an init file that didn't have all the changes made. Now I finally got GearSwap, HD, and now just troubleshooting the ninja.lua. I can't thank you enough for all the work you put into this! You ROCK!!!

I hate where it is by default because it covers up my TP bar and I hate guessing if it's ready or not.
Nice work! Would like to add that if you're using GearSwap it's highly recommended to use Notepad++ for editing the lua's. (Settings>Style configurator>theme; Obsidian is pretty neat and makes it alot easier to see if there's something wrong in your lua.)

I’ve gotten some addons just not all since I just got windower this week. My question is in regards to the minimap addon. I’m playing on a 32in tv monitor. I know you can use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in/out the map. Any way I can shrink the overall map itself in any specific setting? Map is just a tab too big.
Just did a bit of research and I'm sorry to say that it looks like you CANNOT change the size of the minimap. I find this odd but just found same answer in three different places so it's looking to be accurate. Sorry bud.
It is tied to the size of the UI. Change the size of the UI in ffxi config or in windower and it will change the size of the map, but also of everything else.
@@meriredetripsandclicks3153 Good to know thanks. I always leave mine on the same UI setting so I guess I didn't notice. Will be sure to suggest this for people in future who think minimap is too small... with the cavet of everything will get bigger.

Thank you for the video, it was very helpful. If I may I do have two questions as I'm not skilled when it comes to luas, addons, etc. One, for the Frame Rate DIvisor, my game does uncap from the 30FPS, but i notice that if i zone into somewhere new it recaps to 30 FPS and I have to use the config command to uncap it again. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
Second, is there a Skillchains addon that you use? I found and tried to install one with the instructions but whenever I tried to load it in game it would say that it doesn't exist even though I put the addon into my addons folder of Windower4. Any advice?
I have heard of a few others having the issue you describe as well. It's normally caused by another plugin or addon that is set to change it each time you zone. I don't recommend any that do this but I know there are a few out there. Additionally, make sure you have tried putting the wait 30 command at the end of the init.txt and put the framerate line after it as some other plugins reset this upon login. If the wait doesn't fix it, i would try disabling all your plugins and addons and seeing if it still happens. If that confirms that it does stop them then re-add them one at a time until you find the one that is messing with it.
I do not use any skillchain addon's so sadly I can't help with that one.
Great job as always ! I load Dress Up mostly for the blinking function and it's working but it give a lua error on the command display (insert) about line 57 of the helper function. For what I see on the helper function text , think is something about load profile. Any idea or experience with that ?
Sadly no, I have never had an issue with DU. I assume it's the most up to date version? the Windower4 support forums are about the only place I think you could probably get this answered.
Heres a PC repair tech tip for you. Use Ninite for 7zip and everything else that you use thats listed there.
Love your show, I have a question about what is the data for the "Judge's Shiedl" model, can you help me? I really like the look and utilized Dressup to achieve it.
I'm sorry I'm not understanding the question. Are you asking for which file holds the texture for Judge's Shiedl?
For whatever reason I cannot get DressUp to perform commands such as '//du blinking self always off' or '//du blinking self always on' after I implemented this equipviewer. Any reason why? It actually style locks my gear so much so, that I have to do '//lua unload dressup' just to see my gear change. Previously I liked it so I could just use the dressup commands to lock and unlock my gearsets.
Hii, thank you for all your hard work. I am currently struggling with gearinfo. I didn't like the overbearing logo from the orginal and downloaded arislans. However, it seems to display random stat boxes. How do I get mine to look neat and tidy like yours!? Also, is it possible to scale the size, like you can with equipviewer?? Thanks again!
Sadly gear info is currently broken so it often won't work. But historically you would type //gi show and //gi hide commands to show and hide the items you want. Such as //gi show dw. Also //gi hide logo I think is the command that hides the logo. If you type in //gi /? it should give you a list of commands I think that will allow you to customize it further.
I've been trying to find a SendAll command when using macro's while dual-boxing tw blm with the exact same setup for macro's but I can only find something like that on Ashita. I personally don't want to relearn something I'm already used to. Please help if you can. Also If you have not tried to use SuperWarp Addon I'm thankful for you manual setup section of this video B/c I'd never would have figured out how to use it otherwise.

Did your controller stop working the way you want it? Looks like it's due to DelayMeNot... it doesn't work so well with a Controller so I suggest you remove it if you play with a controller.

Not sure if its a bug or just because i had this downloaded through steam. The dressup mod im having an issue with gear not displaying for all levels. In your last video to get the graphic mods to work i had to add the graphic mods to ROM 0-9 folders. Would the same be required for dressup? If so which folder should it be added too?
Really shouldn't be needed to manually copy anything for dressup as its an addon. I do know lots of people have had issues with dressup and needed to make changes for there specific setup/addons. Try using some of the enable/disable options... typing //dressup help I think will show you those.

I have a question though: (I play with a controller) -and I liked it when I would push the camera to the floor in third person and it would zoom in a bit on my character but, with windower and some of these addons/plugins, the zoom will stay static when I do the same thing. Is that something that can be changed in an option somewhere? (I hope I explained this well enough, sorry.)
I sadly have no idea as I've never played with a controller before. If I remember there is a place or two where you need to enable the "gamepad" or controller in the configs. Short of activating those I'm not sure what else would need done. My apologies, just no experience on this one, perhaps another viewer who uses a controller can help.

Ahha, I do see what you mean. Mine operates just like yours in windower mode. I am unsure what changes this setting though, my guess is it's not an addon it's something to do with windower itself but Im' really not sure. You may want to ask on the windower forums on FFXIAH.com sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Question: Does Windower still have the bug where changing your race and/or gender will allow you to equip items that you should not be able to equip? Some years ago I noticed that I was capable of equipping items for a different gender and race, which would be visible to others if they inspect my equipment. Things like that would be detectable and are the kind of things that SE might ban.
Never heard of such a thing so no. Everything windower changes is on the client end and only changes the way your system shows things, to change the way you would look to others and equip gear you shouldn't that would be on the server end which would immediately be detected. Now you can make apps for windower that do pretty much anything so it's possible something like that is out there but never heard of such a thing and it definitely doesn't do it in a default deployment.
I can't seem to get ohshi to work with updated content. For example, I tried adding the Bozzetto Bigwig so I can track Phantasm Strike, but can't seem to get it to work. There's not much info I could find in terms of how to update the addon.
It's supposed to autoupdate from WIndower. I'm not noticing any issues with mine. I'd ask on the windower forums on FFXIAH to get support, they are normally pretty helpful there.

Got my game looking amazing thank you. The problem im having is that when i change gear, it doesnt show it. My character looks the same.
This is caused by the Dressup addon. This is what makes it so you don't blink when you change gear. In order to see the change you have to zone. If you want to disable this I can tell you how but it will make it so you blink every time you change gear like you used to.

@@Niobae Sadly no idea, especially if you deactivated dressup and it still happened. You definitely need to zone in order for your appearance to change but if you have done that then it should change. Are you by chance using a lockstyle that is in a leather vest? That would do it as well.

Hey NextGames the most recent update has broken my FFXI install and after spending the time to make it beautiful and utilize this video for addons is there a way I can do a reinstall or repair FFXI without having to go through all the steps in both your "Make FFXI beautiful again" and "Useful Windower 4 Addons and Plugins". Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.
You actually should be able to reinstall ffxi or do a repair without affecting any of this...with the following exceptions.
1. It's possible something will overwrite the files inside of the PoL directory. If so then you will want to reinstall DGVoodoo and Reshader.
2. If you manually installed any addons such as XIView, you will need to reinstall that.
Other then that... should work just fine as the majority of what you do is contained in the Windower4 install which should be unaffected by a ffxi reinstall/repair. Hope this helps.

Hey Logical, hope you don't mind, but ever since this last version update, my GearInfo display got out of order and some don't display at all even though the values are set to true. I've downloaded done multiple removals and "re-installs" to no avail; using your download and the one from Syb666's GH. Deleting the "CharName_setting.xml' file and reloading once logged in does not work as the chat suggests upon login.
Any ideas? Also, if using your GH download, should I change the 'Logical_settings.xml' to 'MyCharName_settings.xml'?

Could you add a copy of your windower4 settings.xml file somewhere? I keep having an issue with it reverting to previous versions and would rather just have yours as a reference to make sure nothing is missing.

It's actually just a normal file... i don't have any changes to it as all changes to that file are made directly from the windower4 gui. Changes made to it manually will be overwritten each time you launch windower 4 if I remember correctly.
nice video, but somehow my thtracker doesnt work, it works only if on THF or canb you be on any job aslong THF is in party? he always says no current mob
You have to be on THF main as in order for it to work it needs to read it from your log and you don't get TH proc messages in your log unless you are on Thief main. Hope this helps.

The ini.txt files aren't showing up for me on your github. I'm not even sure how to toggle the addons/plugins or scripts in the game, so I'll go figure that out before I continue this video...
Confused, what do you mean they are not showing up for you on my github? Should be able to find the init.txt file listed right here for download or copy/paste. If you are saying they are missing from the Windower4 folder, try running the game once first though Pol and they should appear.
Why does my Gearinfo look different from yours? I don't see where in the file system to set the display characteristics. There is a data.lua and a settings.xml in the data folder but those look like they get populated as you play the game.
If I remember correctly I entered some commands to do things like remove the logo and removing / adding some entries. If I remember correctly it's all done through the interface. Type //gerinfo help for a list of commands in game.

any reason why that's happen pls?
even with some addons i have, it doesn't load automatically. so i have to load them again everytime i login in .

The // and space before the entry means that Windower will NOT execute that command so you want to remove the // and space from before those and hit save. When your all finished with both tutorials // and space should be removed from everything under NEXTGames if you installed everything I suggest. Hope this helps.

How do you find the line for the init file for other adding and plugins?
Are you asking how to find where other plugins and addons are loaded or are you asking where you would enter a plugin to be loaded yourself?
What about the buffs with the timer on them??? Top left screen

Can't seem to get equipviewer to work anymore. I got it work before I reformatted, but it downloads FFXI-Equipviewer-master now and when I copy/paste, there is no transferring of any icons at all, and it just won't load up in FFXI.
Make sure that directly under the Equipviewer folder under addons that equipviewer.lua is there. Then make sure the icons subfolder is also there with all the icons below it. If not reorganize things to make it look like this. Make sure you are downloading the entire equipviewer zip and not simply the equipviewer.lua. Lastly, if none of that works maybe try the link in the description to the authors page, maybe you will have more luck with his direct download. HOpe this helps!

Sorry to hear of the troubles. Windower 4 not starting isn't very common. What is the error that windows gives? That may help determine what's going on.
Hi I have downloaded Autocontrol as a windower4 addon for my PUP - my question is regarding the commands - not particularly for this addon but any - one of the commands for example is "//acon saveset 'setname' " this works fine typed into chat line however is it possible to launch this command from within the ffxi game using the default macro setup ? I have tried a few things but haven't found anything to be successful - it may not be something that is doable but just wondered as it would make life a little simpler when in a hurry. Thank you.
Try entering /console before the command in the macro. Synatax in macro's is a little different then through chat log.

Can't get equipviewer to work. I followed exactly every thing in that section of the video, but when I log in, it says that it failed to load because the file does not exist. Also, I don't know if this matters or not, but when I unzip the master file, it doesn't say unzip to equipviewer like yours, it says unzip to equipviewer master, and when I do that, it doesn't automatically start extracting and loading stuff like what is shown in the video. Inside that master folder I did click the 7zip file and it extracted like what was shown, but like I said, in game it says it doesn't exist.
That may be your issue is that equipview master. Unzip it and then drill down in the folders. You want the .lua file to be right under the top folder. My guess is if you look inside your addons folder right now it says something like equipviewer Master/Equipviewer/Equipviwer.lua when it should be equipviewer/equipviewer.lua.
@@NextGamesGuide That fixed it. Had to get rid of the weird master folder and just have EV in the add-ons
how do you change the icons to look like what you are using in your videos.

@@NextGamesGuide i did what it said in the video to install XI pivot and XI viewer and i got the buff icons to change but it nearly turned off all my other addons except equipviewer. my map and buffs or even the health bar isn't showing anymore
@@draketalon1 It will depend on what parts of the other video you followed as to what happened. If you did the part where you download windower and install it fresh then you are probably going from that install now and need to reinstall your previous addon's. If you just took some parts of the video and haven't installed WIndower 4 over again then my guess is you overwrote some settings you had before during the install process for xi pivot and view. If this is the case you will probably need to re-enable all your previous addin's/plugin's similar to when you initially turned them on.
The trusts and skillchain addons are highly recommended, too.

Hi, I have used all the ‘make ffxi beautiful’ set up and it’s transformed the game completely from the drab faded game I’ve been playing on and of since it’s release to it being like a brand new game - excellent work . Now onto a question with the add ons if I may.
Battle mod - I’m a bit stuck as to what to change and how with regards the text in the ini file - atm I’m getting everyone’s synths, if anyone is close when I’m fighting I’m getting all their text as well - the chat log is jammed with junk I don’t want, I’ve tried turning off stuff in the text but I’m not seeing any obvious change and I don’t want to change stuff wholesale and screw it all up altogether, I wonder if it would be possible if you could do a short vid with examples about what does what and where etc, if that’s too much work for you and I appreciate how much time goes into all this for you, a few pointers may help , I’ve tried online for ppl explaining but not getting what they’re saying really.
I've actually not played with those settings yet and just left them all active. Will spend some time today to see if I can figure out some reliable settings to recommend for blocking others chat log spam. Thanks for the suggestion as I'm sure others may find this annoying.

@@NextGamesGuide I have followed your guides and i cant thank you enough. But i am to haveing issues, first of all i dont see my damage, i see everyone elses stuff and my chat log is broken. I dont know if its from this ofcourse but maybe you have some ideas? I lose my chat log once it scrolled through the 8 lines, i cant go back and retrace it. And all the other wondows like tell and such are black

Can you tell me how to resize the actual minimap? Ik how to zoom in and out, I’m talking about the entire whole thing itself. It’s huge on my screen and I can’t figure out how to make it smaller
The minimap is sadly entirely resized from the UI Scale setting in Windower 4. So if your UI scale is high, it will be big, if it's closer to the 1. 0 that the normal game is on, it will be smaller. So the only way to make it smaller is to lower the UI Scale.

just gonna put this here since i made the switch to windower, how are you loading the lua addons? whenever i do the command or tried to autoload it nothing happens so now i'm very lost
Odd, Windower seems to keep resetting my screen settings drawing at double the 1080p resolution. When I load up FFXI normally, it's fine. But when I load Windower, the setting resets and my resolution is all screwed up - everything is off center.
Odd, what resolution are you playing on? Try lowering the UI Scale in Windower, does that help?
@@NextGamesGuide I play in 1920x1080p. But, upon experimentation, even if I play on 1920x1080 and have both settings matched at the same resolution, Windower still extends the game screens. Much of the right side is cutoff regardless. Seems to be a Windower issue - I'm using the latest version, and only the mods your video recommends.

I actually don't need to mess with the settings for that. The location you are seeing it is it's default.
Hey Logical. I came back a few months ago snd followed this video, everything worked fine. However, yesterday i tried to login and when it switches from pol to ffxi (after you hit play) windower 4 jyst crashes.
I first disabled all addons with no change. I then did a fresh W4 download with no change. I switched around fullscteen settings and resolutions in ffxiconfig with no change. Have you ever run into this problem or heard of it? I tried for 5 hours yesterday with no luck
PS: running game without windower 4 works (but now i cant plsy the game after using so many of these QOL’s lol)
Odd, had you played since the update already without issue? Try updating XIView, it's the only thing that normally needs updated when updates occur. github.com/KenshiDRK/XiView
@@NextGamesGuide Yea, I played a day after update with no issues. I also saw that update and did it, with no luck. That’s why i tried a fresh w4 install with no addons.
Sadly it seems like i might need to delete all traces of windower and ffxi and start fully over, just at a chance it works..
@@NextGamesGuide I finally figured it out - in case anyone else ever runs into this. It was a couple windows updates on 1/13/21, two of which were for a Security update on framework 3.5 & 4.8. I uninstalled the 3-4 updates, then disabled auto-updates for windows and now it works again.
I'm having a issue where when using windower I can't alt tab or minimize 11 while the game is running. Any clue where to start with this?

Unsure, my knowledge of Ashita is very limited but I know some of these are available for Ashita but I believe require the "Ashita version".

When I set config to 60 FPS everything speeds up, including animations. It is freaky and I can't select menu items because the movement is at hyperspeed. Any ideas on how to normalize this?
Don't think I've heard of this issue before. Only idea is are you sure you didn't uncap your fps? It's another number like 2 for the frameratedivisior setting. What your describing is not normal.

@@celzolsen8988 It is Ninja and yes by far my favorite job to play in FFXI. Warrior is the best current subjob for it with /DNC, /RUN, /RDM and /BLM all providing other useful options.

i posted on takos hub about a month ago asking for help, maybe you could help me lol. i did what you said to do for your equipviewer install. im getting just a white box with no icons. and its giving me errors as well in the consolebg. i don't think im the only one with issues with this so maybe im not crazy.
From what i can understand this normally happens when it CAN"T find access to the pictures inside of the icons file. So lets make sure that's there. Under the equipviewer folder should be an "icons" subfolder... is it there? Under that should be 16, 32, 48 and 64 as 4 named folders. Do you see those? And then under each of those do you see thousands of small pictures? If any of that does not exist that is your problem and you will want to try unzipping that icons.zip file again into this directory. I hope that helps!

Hey NextGames. I recently installed EquipViewer as shown in the video and even in game if i try to load it, i get "this file does not exist" do you know how to fix it or what may possibly be going wrong?
Odd. So just to be clear you have the Equipviewer folder inside of Addon's under Windower4 and directly under it is a file called Equipviewer.lua ... yes? If so typing //lua load equipviewer

I basically downloaded the folder from your GitHub, then extracted the equipviewer folder, copy and pasted it to addons and fixed the init. However it would tell me the file doesnt exist when i logged in

@@justynburgess2557 The only way this message should be popping up is if that file isn't under addons\Equipviewer. Have you manually checked and made sure Equipviewer.lua is directly under that folder? Some zip programs do things like put a folder within a folder and something like that may be causing this issue. If equipviewer.lua is under Addons\Equipviewer then there is no reason it shouldn't be loading. If you type //lua unload battlemod does it unload? and typing //lua load battlemod make it load? Assuming you use battlemod of course.
@@NextGamesGuide Yeah battlemod unloads/loads perfectly fine. It's extremely weird. I'm gonna try to redownload everything and maybe see if just doing a simple copy paste reload the game will work.

@@NextGamesGuide It something in DGVoodoo, I tried clean install and it happens after I install that, I couldn't modify the WoW64 folder, that might be why?

THtracker doesn't seem to work unless I unload Battlemod, is there a fix for this?
Don't think so, sadly I noticed the same thing about a year ago so unsure if this is a relatively new thing or always been that way.

Abdullah M you actually make it autoload by turning it on in windower 4. You only need to manually set things to load in the init when its not a default windower 4 app or plugin. So by just turning it on in the windower 4 gui it should autoload. Hope this helps! Let me know if it doesnt

That's odd. His Github says specifically that V2 only changed some commented code... In other words code that did nothing to the game and simply told the programmer what each section does. Also when I went to trie to utilize his V2 I had a few instances of it not loading properly so I choose not to use it in my video.
However if you want to give it a try please go to this URL github.com/ProjectTako/ffxi-addons and click on the "Clone or download" button. You then need to unzip this file and take the equipviewerv2 file from the equipviewer2/windower folder and put it in your Windower4/addons/Equipviewer folder. You now need to change your entry in your init.txt file that says lua load equipviewer to lua load equipviewerv2 After that load up the game and now equipviewerv2 should load instead of v1. Will be interested to hear if this makes any difference for you.

Does this only work on private servers?
Actually the other way around. This works on retail server's direct from Square. This normally will NOT work on Private server's due to restrictions.
Hello! After I have installed 7Zip and DLed Github Equipviewer, I am not seeing the WinZip file to extract to Equipviewer. I have restarted my computer twice and shut it down/turned back on once, and it is still not showing up. Any idea why?
Try redownloading the equip viewer file. Then right click unzip it and then you should be able to move the equipviewer folder you have unzipped into the addons folder.
@@NextGamesGuide I'm not being given the unzip option, only extract all on the master. So, only the compressed (zipped) folder shows up, but not the WinZip File after I DL Equipviewer. I've tried redownloading 7Zip a couple times and used both the 2020 and 2019 versions. And redownloaded Equipviewer multiple times. Along with restarting my computer each time. I'm sure it is something small that I am missing, but I can't seem to figure it out.
@@bekkilorton4309 Extract and Unzip are the same thing so Extract is just fine. Once extracted/unzipped you then want to copy the folder inside to it's destination. Note you do NOT want to copy the folder ending in -master if there is one as that is just the top folder from the unzip.

Okay, so that last part is part of the problem, when I DL Equipviewer, I am only being given the master folder, not the EquipViewer.7z WinZip File. When I do extract the master file and go into the same folder again, I have a EquipViewer.7z, but it is a 7z File, but that is not what I want, correct?

Wehn i go to save the init file after adding the text it tells me "you do not have persmission to open this file. see the owner of the file or and administrator to obtain permission" what do i need to do?
Try launching the text editor in administrator mode. If you install notepad++ it will do this for you automatically. Alternatively, you can search for "notepad" right click on it, run as administrator, open the init file, modify it, and then you should be able to save it.

Odd, i've not heard that before. So you can have it unloaded... have no studder... type //lua load equipviewer and stuttering starts to occur? If so very odd, I know there are two versions of it on his website, maybe try V2 and see if it helps.

I hate THTracker, I can't get it to show like you have in the video. I've tried everything I can think of and the best I can get is it will tell me no mob available.
And now when I play with a controller, for some reason (after doing your updates) I have to hold the triggers for macros instead of them toggling like they used to.
That's odd about TH Tracker. What resolution do you play on? I've not had to do anything special, I simply activated it. The other ones I used such as the one with ohShi don't work after Battlemod is installed.
In regards to the controller issues. Not sure, we didn't do anything in this tutorial to do with your controller. What addon's that I suggest did you activate that you didn't have active before?
I play on the same resolution that you had recommended (1920 x 1080). I can see the box for THTracker (and move it's location), but it never shows the TH level of the mob. It always says "No Current Mob," even while fighting a mob. I tried OhShi and there was just too much going on for what I wanted (just TH level).
I followed both tutorials. I think there might be some settings in the .ini file from the first video that might have messed with with controller.
@@WolfeMasters Do you use Battlemod? Curious if maybe it needs Battlemod to work as I always use Battlemod with it.
Oh my first Video... yes lots there could have messed with the controller. Make sure "Always Enable Gamepad" is checked in the Windower Profile settings. That's my best guess as to what happened.
I figured out the controller issue, DelayMeNot causes the controller macros to respond/react differently. It works great for keyboard, not so much if you're using a controller. Unless you want to hold the triggers while selecting your macro. I'm used to playing on PS2, then 360, now controller on PC, I like the toggle option.

Had to mess with antivirus and use the development version to get them to show up.
You should check out a lua called parse imo its cleaner then scoreboard and can be exported to xml

I am conflicted on modding. I am all for getting more clarity, for example, on things like cooldowns [Timers] or combat messages [ohShi and/or Battlemod] that are hindered because the UI is older than the Holy Book, or even pet HP/TP [PetTP] because the information is readily available but I have to mash my pettp macro and /echo spam an already cluttered chat. However I am not sure it's right for me to use addons that provide information the game didn't already like perfect distance [DistancePlus] or exact debuff duration [Debuffed].
Now I am not shaming or crusading or anything against it. If someone likes to use all this and more more power to them, they should do what's fun for them. I am just concerned come proper endgame I might be expected or demanded to use a laundry list of mods that either play for me or give me info I feel I shouldn't have. Kinda been there in other games...

Started a few days ago and noticed this timer box on the screen in a vid I saw and wondered if it was in-game setting, learned it wasnt, and was looking up how that worked.
The map with lines and distances like you are using some satellite GPS makes me feel dirty just knowing it exists.
The gear swapping stuff and the fact the game even allows that level of gear to be swapped mid cast just sounds broken. Granted the game didnt fix it but they couldnt have balanced anything around this, but its too far gone to fix now both due to games popularity / incentive / culture. A fair way would be you can swap 1 item per X time and never during a spell cast, before and after sure. The level of min/max is off the charts with how its done atm =/ I'm gonna stick with whatever i can macro in-game using their built in system as swapping a dozen items twice during a spell cast isn't right, I dont care if you CAN do it =/

That being said I never really got to the REAL endgame before leaving the game so I never really felt the frustration of "is my selfish decision screwing everyone over now?"

Why even play a game that requires cheating
You must be new to MMO's. This is not cheating, they're add-ons. They don't give you an edge over another player like an actual cheat/hack. All these things do is improve QoL by making things available in game more accessible and less convoluted.

Equipviewer seems different on the page. I'm not sure which of these files to get. Not seeing any 7zip files other than icon one.
Are you talking about my Equipviewer Page or the original programers? All you should need from the original programmers page is that 7zip icon file when it's been updated after monthly updates. @@HeckyLady You want to extract the EquipViewer.7z file that's inside and there you will find the files that your expecting. Github seems to create their own "master" zip above mine so you have to unzip it twice.
