I think that was one of the most satisfying and euphoric steps in the guitar making process what whittling down the bracing. It made me feel like a real life Luthier or woodworker hahaha
You are a real woodworker and I enjoy that as well. You just need to take your time to get it right.
I run the braces right through the sides , then cover the ends with the bindings ; but love your stuff Sir . More please !

I'm sure John could teach you all about the building of a guitar and what goes in to making it sound amazing. He obviously has the talent and the knowledge.
Good idea, Monty! I went a little too tall with the brace inlets on my last build. I just bent one of the sides on my third and will definitely make one of these jigs soon so that I don’t repeat the previous mistake.
