FWIW my California Zephyr ride ran into Denver earlier than scheduled a few years ago 😂 it can happen! To be real, though, the delays are an embarrassment, though it's still a great way to travel :) so relaxing!
@@sorrrbet4923 same name, different motorway. They’re both part of the National Highway, but it isn’t a continuous M1 from QLD to Newcastle, there are a number of different sections with different names.

@@rico-228 i wasn't being specific with my time stamp. I saw the same spot btw too. I was just being general because it reminded me of a spot near Hope BC where I have fished under a bridge.
Interesting fact: train used in this video is based off of the SC-44 charger and the Alstom Bi level coaches used on Amtrak California trains - the Pacific Surfliner, San Joaquin and Capitol Corridor. The station seen at 6:32 is modeled after Santa Barbara, a station on the Pacific Surfliner
This map has the same quality that many great Rockstar games open world maps have. Its physical size is not that impressive, but the way the different regions are made up and most importantly, transitioned, just makes this place feel huge.
Holy shit... this is amazing. I stopped playing Cities Skylines a while ago but watching your videos are like watching art--not just the cities but the video production. Love the continuous long scenes of roadtrips and trains!
I was just thinking about this game again the last week wondering if I'll ever dust off my save files and now i find this gem. Train rides are a guilty pleasure stemming from a childhood fascination. Have to mention too your detailing work is beautiful.
The music should be a light background, and the main sound is the sound of the wheels and the movement of the train. This is the beauty of the railway.
Holy shit, I sat through the whole thing thinking it was Transport Fever 2... and its Cities Skylines?!?! Very realistic. Also, very soothing. I watched this during my break at work after half of my data on excel got wiped. It definitely calmed me down. 10/10
Please, keep doing this ! This is so calming and peaceful, makes me my mind relax for a moment. The details in it are insane. Makes you feel you really were a train operator. Great content !
you can see a guy at the station stepping in front of the train at 6:25 and then after leaving the station you see a hearse driving away from the station on the left XD
Just sitting here thinking. Imagine if two dollars twenty did a NSW build and get a train journey following a regional train through the blue mountains :o
I may not view your videos regularly but i keep subscribed to you bcoz of the beauty and perfection of ur cities that i see in these types of videos...love ur work man.
I'm kind of hoping city skylines does a simcity 4 and allows larger regions to be developed. That would probably keep me occupied until my funeral, this is one of my favourite CS cities, great upload.
Love these videos. I didn't see the video where the line was laid so i was surprised to see these stations which were on one side of the track not both, even the smallest country station in the UK would normally have platforms on both sides :)
This is a great design for how a railroad should be placed for efficiency. Unfortunately in the real US, Cities and residential suburbs were built surrounding the railroads, thus they have alot of railroad crossings with speed restrictions, and many train vehicle collisions. Los Angeles and its suburbs are a prime example of this.
I dream of seeing a new version of Cities Skylines. This is something similar to GTA 5, inside Cities Skylines.. It's like 2 in one bottle, where you can develop and build a magnificent city, with developed infrastructure, transport links, skyscrapers, business centers, beautiful landscapes, green valleys, factories, roads, country houses and so on. Everything goes according to your plan, you build and develop your city, you are the chief architect and part of the town hall of your city.. but one day, you can just flip a switch and you're part of this city. You are a resident of this city. You can come to your home, you can visit the headquarters in a high skyscraper, visit your office, drawings, cranes and construction sites. Get out on the bustling streets of the city, just use the car, public bus, or train and railway that you once built and paved.. You can see streets filled with people, tall buildings, parks and city noise.. It looks as great as day, night and during sunset. This is your city and you are part of it. This should be used as an incentive for construction.. pure, noble deeds and the faith of your city in the future and its well-being.The magnificent setting of the city and awesome music. You should also remember that the switch is always with you, you can always return to the sandbox mode to continue building the city. Then again and again become a part of the city, when you want it... It all starts small.. it all starts with a sandbox, it all starts with a small piece of land...
That sounds totally amazing. However the file size and hardware needed to run that would be...well, I’d be asking For like 10,000 dollar hardware or something, and a TB worth of file size.
Great Journey TDT! This sort of video, both of this game and other IRL train cab journeys in trains make really me want to be a train driver. Watched a number of really good Euro and Japanese trips, but there isn’t really much for Australia.
Love the sounds from the train. The wheels clicking over points, I could really hear myself on the train. Only point I’d raise is speed - why is the train so slow? I know America isn’t known for its train’s speed, but lorries were driving past you 😂
Yeah, a bit more speed is needed, especially considering the locomotive is a Siemens Charger, which are supposed to outdo the 110MPH Genesis series units.
Amazing, it's so beautiful, I'm so Bad to can't Play Cities Skyline because of my study. Great Job, continue. PS: sorry for my Bad english, I'm french.
Unrealistic. The train wasn’t running ten hours late.
Seriously though, I love this project.

Every part of the map feels bigger than it actually is. This is the most well-designed city imo.
Mainly cus it gives the Feel of speed but the train is Just goin 40kmh/25mph or something
Probably uses Speed Slider.
Hey dude check out 'paradox addicts' San ignacio car ride
Check out palms times city based off of Kobe in Japan called Maya. Most realistic imo.
Tbh, the Standard map size is 4 x 9 = 36 km^2. Quite Big. And there is the 81 tiles mod.
These shots make me appreciate the swamp so much more!
