Thanks for video! I appreciate it! Very enlightening! I have just one observation. I love how these two Christian philosophers are in dialogue! I'm not sure however if the premise/induction propounded by the Lady is valid nor could it be. I say this because missing from this entire conversation is the Advent of Christ who was sent by The Father during that specific time knowing that Rome, Greece and Jerusalem were tethered to one another. Plainly put the cultural "context," was specifically chosen by God-Father Son and Holy Spirit for the purpose of using the symbols exclusive to those cultures to mediate Truth about Reality as it pertains to God, Creation and Man.
It is a logical contradiction or at least would be to have a Christian Ethos somehow conflate with confucianism.
One requires subjection to God's Character and Morality whereas the other?
But then again it is easy to see within the church that thought has made it's way in...gnosticism in some of its various forms looks like an attempt. Liberal Christianity today looks a lot like it too. But a look back at Tradition curtails the movement!

I wonder how one's pneumatology (especially the Spirit's role in the historical unfolding of revelation) plays a role in this debate.

Isa 55:8,9 "My thoughts says the Lord are not like yours. And my ways are different to your ways. As high as the heavens are above the earth so my ways and thoughts are above yours". Its a great shame that men chose "men's thoughts" ( ie greek philosophy e.t.c) above "God's thoughts and adopted creeds & beliefs contrary to the word of God!

My conclusion? Supernaturalism is a pseudo-philosophy. It's like astrology, compared with astronomy.
