In lost Jakob had a list of people to take over him in protecting the island, each had a number associated with them and the last 6 candidates to take over were numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42... Seems answered to me
Two unanswered questions from My Name Is Earl : 1) Did Earl Hickey ever finish the " list "? 2 ) Who is the father of Earl Jr. if it's not Darnell? Joy gets a look of shock then knowledge after learning DNA eliminates Darnell as the father!
Here's some I'm really curious about: Who is Earl Jrs dad? Did Earl ever finish the list? (My name is Earl) What started the virus? (The Walking dead) Maybe you didn't do these because they're cartoons but these are some pretty big ones that I wonder Who REALLY was Red X? (Teen Titans) What is under Edds hat? (You know what show.) Did Zim ever win? (Invader Zim) Did Sheen ever go back to earth? (Planet Sheen/Jimmy Neutron) Did Flapjack ever find candy island? (The marvelous misadventures of Flapjack) Did Timmy find a way to keep cosmo and wanda (Fairly oddparents) Is Jack still immortal? (Samurai Jack) Will Bill return? (Gravity Falls) Ongoing: Who is evil Morty (Rick and Morty) Who is Archers father (Archer) So you think they should do a seperate list for cartoons?
The answers are there, you just have to think about them a little... There is more than enough information in the series to answer every "unanswered" question... try me =)
Yeah, I've always thought that the real Syrio was dead before he ever met Arya. His whole, "what do we tell the god of Death- not today" thing seemed way too on the nose and Benioff and Weiss have said that Syrio is dead, without giving it much consideration. If Syrio was dead before he went from Bravos to King's Landing, the producers' statement(s) makes perfect sense (and we've seen that Joffrey's king's guard was kinda shit...). I REALLY doubt they killed him when he had the wooden sword and Sir Meryn Trant would have NEVER admitted that he was bested by "some Bravosi fool with a wooden sword." With Arya on her way out of King's Landing, the faceless man had kickstarted her adventure to Bravos (a city where her ambition, being a great sword fighter, was promised and it was away from the chaos in Westeros).
Lost always talk about faith and destiny, in the lighthouse episode they explain that each number is one character, the use of this numbers made the characters end up on that island , at the end of lost you see all the characters in the purgatory and all of them are together because it was their destiny to end there
IrishInFl the creator actually answered this in an ama: We never really got the chance to fully figure it out but the talk in the writers room was that Earl Jr.'s Dad was going to be someone famous. Like Dave Chappelle or Lil Jon. Someone that came to town on tour and Joy slept with. But when we got canceled we never got the chance to figure it out. I was worried about doing a cliffhanger but I asked NBC if it was safe to do one at the end of the season and they told me it was. I guess it wasn't. I had always had an ending to Earl and I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to see it happen. You've got a show about a guy with a list so not seeing him finish it is a bummer. But the truth is, he wasn't ever going to finish the list. The basic idea of the ending was that while he was stuck on a really hard list item he was going to start to get frustrated that he was never going to finish it. Then he runs into someone who had a list of their own and Earl was on it. They needed to make up for something bad they had done to Earl. He asks them where they got the idea of making a list and they tell him that someone came to them with a list and that person got the idea from someone else. Earl eventually realizes that his list started a chain reaction of people with lists and that he's finally put more good into the world than bad. So at that point he was going to tear up his list and go live his life. Walk into the sunset a free man. With good karma.
big unanswered questions that bug me: What happened with the international case Bulk & Skull got hired for? ( Power Rangers Zeo ) What was Black Bolt protecting Attilan from? ( Inhumans ) ( yes, I liked Inhumans and want the cliffhanger resolved ) Who killed Alec Ryback? ( The Lying Game ) wtf happened in general ( 9 Lives of Chloe King ) who stole Peggy's file and why? ( Agent Carter ) What happened to Blizzard? ( Agents of SHIELD ) who is the father? ( Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life ) did Max & Logan ever find a cure so they could be together? ( Dark Angel ) where is the REAL Mary Jane? ( Spider-Man 90's cartoon ) does Nolan find a way back? ( Defiance )
How did the ending of Terra Nova not end up on here? We never learn why the Pheonix Group went out to the badlands, or what that ship was doing in the container, or what happened to Lucas. Such a great show with no answers!
For the record, the meaning of the numbers on Lost was answered, just not on the TV show. Look up "the Valenzetti Equation" on Google. It might not satisfy you, but it satisfied me. :)
I always thought it was quite clear in Six Feet Under that the brother in law killed Lisa, never considered it a mystery after the episode when Nate confronts him.
Personally, I was not aware of what the finale of "Mork & Mindy" was like, but still, I miss the show because it was a great sitcom, and in my opinion, just better than NBC's "Third Rock from the Sun."
I know that GOT is still yet to end so probably it doesn't belong here....BUT one big mystry i'm pretty sure will forever remain unsolved.... WHAT DID PODRICK DO TO THOSE DAMN PROSTITUTES?????
The Leftovers??? Maybe? Twin Peaks????? Lost had more serious questions unanswered than the numbers... but the finale is a 10/10 and I couldn't bother. Just finished it today.
Agent Crater's ending : What was on Peggy's file that so mysterious and dangerous ? Who was the men in the black suit who wanted said file ? How did Zola escape prison and join Shield?
Just wanna add emerald city only having one season having to find out Dorothy's mom was actually in the land of Oz and having to go back Oz at the end of the series aired in 2017 on NBC
The numbers from Lost are actually explained, but never in the show itself. They represent the six factors of the Valenzetti Equation, which is what the Dharma Initiative was funded to do research into. That's a ridiculously disappointing answer, I know.
Jesse pinkmans story will be revisited in the Breaking bad spinoff “Better call Saul”, he uses part of his cut of the money to buy a new identity like Saul did, gets a college degree and eventually becomes a chemistry teacher in Alaska. Setting up for a future continuation of the original series.
The show Kyle XY ended on a huge cliff hanger...I was angry for awhile ...it was like making love and you get close to the top of the mountain but never peak! That was the only show that ended in a way that annoyed me for awhile.
I like to think that even if Jesse Pinkman goes to prison I like to think he doesn't go for that long maybe 5 years. And then after that hangs out with skinny Pete and Badger. Maybe reconnects with his family.
The biggest unanswered question in ALL OF TV is in "The Night of" in Episode 5. The cliffhanger. Where John Turturro goes into the alley to chase after DUANE REEDE and it IS NEVER BROUGHT UP AGAIN!!!
Terminator: Sarah Connor chronicles season 3 finale that became the series finale. If you havent seen the show, consider yourselves lucky you didnt have to go through the emotional torture of not getting to see what happened next
Even though we don't really know what each number MEANS, each one seems to represent each of the most important characters on the show. A name was next to each number on the stone wall in that cave when Ford was in there. There were other numbers, too, scratched off. Maybe failed characters. Still don't know why the specific numerical value for each character. They didn't seem to be in particular order.
My #1: whatever happened to Peter's Irish girlfriend who got stuck in the alternate dystopian timeline in "Heroes" season 2? I know this storyline got screwed up because of the writer's strike, but it always annoyed me that it was never referenced again, not even by Peter.
JAG's series ending coin toss was answered in NCIS: Los Angeles. We now know that Mac won the toss, but they never got married. The NCIS: LA episode revealed that they never got past the engagement stage. BUT a new question has emerged. Mac mentioned her "sham of a marriage", since Harm and Mac never got past the engagement stage, who did she marry? She ended up working for the State Department. Wondering if Mac and Clayton Webb got married and that was the sham marriage.
I grew up watching TGIF which included Family Matters. It always bugged me that the character of Judy disappeared. They could have at least gave some explanation. Poor Judy....
Lisa got killed by her brother in law in Six Feet Under with whom she WAS having an affair, but stopped since she started seeing Nate. The brother in law didnt like that and killed her. It was all revealed... We know for sure. Just because we don't see it, doesn't mean that wasn't the outcome.
#1 was answered half way through Lost's runtime :D The misconceptions about this show are incredible. But to be fair, the answer was given as a part of viral promotion so you might have missed it.
they explained the meaning of the numbers in lost but not in the show, Here's the story with numbers. The Hanso Foundation that started the DHARMA Initiative hired this guy Valenzetti to basically work on this equation to determine what was the probability of the world ending in the wake of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Valenzetti basically deduced that it was 100 percent within the next 27 years, so the Hanso Foundation started the Dharma Initiative in an effort to try to change the variables in the equation so that mankind wouldn't wipe it itself out. So why couldn't Jacob leave the Island on Lost? What exactly was the smoke monster? We saw Ethan leave Charlie behind and only took Clair. So who hung Charlie on Lost?
Actually the numbers were given an explanation. They were called The Venziletti Equation. A group of numbers that calculated the precise moment humanity was destroyed. The purpose of the Dharma Initiative was to change them.
I miss Lost
In lost Jakob had a list of people to take over him in protecting the island, each had a number associated with them and the last 6 candidates to take over were numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42... Seems answered to me
Yes it is answered by this
Genius.
My thoughts exactly. They wrapped it up pretty nicely
Exactly how people just ignore this is beyond me
Good way to sum up all of this, even more, the sum of those numbers is 108, which is the time to press the button
We all know Jessie went on to create the drugs that unleashed the Zombie Apocalypse in the Walking Dead 😜😎
Doomy McDoomerson It was the chilli P!!!!!

randy
mk6rfc1 ...how would it be Randy? Earl Jr. is black.
+LadyAmadala t’was a joke
Here's some I'm really curious about:
Who is Earl Jrs dad? Did Earl ever finish the list? (My name is Earl)
What started the virus? (The Walking dead)
Maybe you didn't do these because they're cartoons but these are some pretty big ones that I wonder
Who REALLY was Red X? (Teen Titans)

Did Zim ever win? (Invader Zim)
Did Sheen ever go back to earth? (Planet Sheen/Jimmy Neutron)

Is Jack still immortal? (Samurai Jack)
Will Bill return? (Gravity Falls)
Ongoing:
Who is evil Morty (Rick and Morty)
Who is Archers father (Archer)
So you think they should do a seperate list for cartoons?
Lost ended 8 years ago and still don't have the answers
The answers are there, you just have to think about them a little... There is more than enough information in the series to answer every "unanswered" question... try me =)
Bullshit, they had no answers to give, and we fell for iiiiit!!
Adam Watson like what
They had all the answers there if you knew where to look... seriously, ask me anything
krorks what do the numbers mean?
What happened to Syrio in Game of Thrones? It wasn't determined if he died back in Season 1, but Arya thinks he's dead.
Wait a minute, Many-Faced God is God of Death, and Syrio does say to the God of Death "Not today." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
he is dead
game of thrones fans think that if they didnt die on screen they are alive lmao
Yeah, I've always thought that the real Syrio was dead before he ever met Arya. His whole, "what do we tell the god of Death- not today" thing seemed way too on the nose and Benioff and Weiss have said that Syrio is dead, without giving it much consideration. Who is Earl Jr's real father? Did Earl ever finish the list? My Name is Earl.
IrishInFl I was going to comment this
IrishInFl the creator actually answered this in an ama:

It was never answered who was Red X on Teen Titans. It pisses me of to this day.
vladimir krejci And what happened to Beast Boy and the other Titans in the ending of Things Change?
It was Jason Todd
Jason was more of a mercyless vigilante. Red X was a thief who didnt care about justice
Lost ending is awesome
Thank you!
koloto47 yes, yes it is! 👍
Said no one ever
What was under Edd’s hat?
Mr. X that's something I've always wanted to know....

i'm re-watching Lost right now! it's season 3 yesterday,today and tomorrow.
How did the ending of Terra Nova not end up on here? We never learn why the Pheonix Group went out to the badlands, or what that ship was doing in the container, or what happened to Lucas. Such a great show with no answers!
"They never added up to a satisfying whole"
Yeah, they did… 108 :)
and a pentagon has five angles each of 108 degrees.
Who killed agent Thompson in agent Carter?
bifa her brother. There was foreshadowing of it.
they also stole Peggy's file...what was so important about her file that they'd steal it & kill Thompson?
For the record, the meaning of the numbers on Lost was answered, just not on the TV show. Look up "the Valenzetti Equation" on Google. It might not satisfy you, but it satisfied me. :)
What about what was under double dees hat in ed edd eddy???
My theory on Losts numbers. They were important precisely because they represented the final candidates.
10: Jesse's license plate gave you the answer. "Live Free or Die." Walt died. Jesse lived free.
I always thought it was quite clear in Six Feet Under that the brother in law killed Lisa, never considered it a mystery after the episode when Nate confronts him.
Where that ship with the maiden n the front at the end of season 1 in TerraNova is one of the greatest mysteries that will never be solved
PRIMEVAL!? YES! FINALLY! I LOVE THAT SHOW!
The final answer to top 1 is as you mentioned yourself, it represented all the candidates
ikr, they mention it themselves :l
Personally, I was not aware of what the finale of "Mork & Mindy" was like, but still, I miss the show because it was a great sitcom, and in my opinion, just better than NBC's "Third Rock from the Sun."
Is it me or do they need to do a cartoon version of this?
WHAT THE HECK?! NUMBER ONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WHAT DID JIM WRITE ON THE LETTER FROM THE OFFICE! love your channel, btw.

WHAT DO THE NUMBERS MEAN MASON?
Agent Crater's ending : What was on Peggy's file that so mysterious and dangerous ? Who was the men in the black suit who wanted said file ? How did Zola escape prison and join Shield?
What is the background music called? It's awesome.
Just wanna add emerald city only having one season having to find out Dorothy's mom was actually in the land of Oz and having to go back Oz at the end of the series aired in 2017 on NBC
Please make a top 10 list on movies loosely based on true stories 🙏🙏🙏 I mean like wolf of wall street, war dogs, pain and gain etc.
Always bring a new concept 😉😉

What happened to House after Wilson died?
Back to Prison lol
He accepted the psychopath in him and became a serial killer who kills women around the whole world who looking like his ex girlfriend/ex boss

I think the most important question is... What did the note in the blue teapot that Jim gave to Pam say in the Office???
This whole list could have been Lost mysteries.
With the release of El Camino in 2019, we now know what happened to Jesse after the events of Breaking Bad.
In the finale of Soap, everyone was about to die. But alas, no next season to see what happened next.
the valenzetti equation, duh
next stop? top 10 unanswered questions from Twin Peaks seasons 1 to 3 + Fire walk with me! :)
Judy? heck, i'm still wondering where Chuck from Happy Days went.
I like to think that even if Jesse Pinkman goes to prison I like to think he doesn't go for that long maybe 5 years. And then after that hangs out with skinny Pete and Badger. Maybe reconnects with his family.
Even y'all are forgetting about Adam Winchester lmao
#10 We all know what happened to Jesse, he fucking joined Need For Speed.
That is why it is called Lost. Lol
WatchMojo (Happy Mother’s Day)
Jesse spinoff where he starts cooking again!!
Add recently cancelled "Last man on Earth". And I'd like to know what Dexter's up to also.
Hey love the channel another channel I have watched so long and my personal favorite top 10 channle

"Where is my mother?" - Zuko
What happend to jar jar binks from star wars
Who Cares? lol
He became a sith lord
maybe he died when Alderaan was blown up. i guess Tarkin wasn't all bad after all: he was doing it for the greater good.
Why hasn"t Primeval returned for a sixth series???
Sharkdiver345 idk it was the best

The numbers from lost actually ended up being winning mega millions numbers
My #1: whatever happened to Peter's Irish girlfriend who got stuck in the alternate dystopian timeline in "Heroes" season 2? I know this storyline got screwed up because of the writer's strike, but it always annoyed me that it was never referenced again, not even by Peter.
Matt Gillette the whole show got screwed up by that strike, it was never the same
What about what was in the Teapot Letter given to Pam by Jim?
Half the Game of Thrones lore could fit in this
I was so disappointed by the ending of Dexter! It just seemed like several unrealistic and irrational things happened that could’ve been ended better
JAG's series ending coin toss was answered in NCIS: Los Angeles. We now know that Mac won the toss, but they never got married. What pisses me off more about Primeval is they did do a spin-off...which completely ignored the ending of Primeval
Edmund Graham the spin off was tragic. Primeval should’ve just continued on because it was getting so good.
You could do an entire list of unsolved mysteries in LOST
And then you could make an entire reply of how those "unsolved" mysteries are actually all solved if only you think a little
I grew up watching TGIF which included Family Matters. It always bugged me that the character of Judy disappeared. They could have at least gave some explanation. Poor Judy....
The numbers are the favorites candidates to take jacob's place as the guardian of the islan
4 8 15 16 23 42
Yooo y'all petty for bringing up Judy in Family Matters 😂😂
Lisa got killed by her brother in law in Six Feet Under with whom she WAS having an affair, but stopped since she started seeing Nate. The brother in law didnt like that and killed her. It was all revealed... We know for sure. Just because we don't see it, doesn't mean that wasn't the outcome.
#1 was answered half way through Lost's runtime :D The misconceptions about this show are incredible. But to be fair, the answer was given as a part of viral promotion so you might have missed it.
The numbers are the coordinates of where the island is supposed to be in real life
my so called life, that was a perfect ending
they explained the meaning of the numbers in lost but not in the show, Here's the story with numbers. The date is the numbers
What happened to Betty after she jumped into the guy's lights in Dead Like Me?
So why couldn't Jacob leave the Island on Lost? What exactly was the smoke monster? We saw Ethan leave Charlie behind and only took Clair. So who hung Charlie on Lost?
Lost is my favourite show fully addictive
How about an actual important question that needs an answer... "Who was Earl Jr's real dad if not Crabman?!"
Las Vegas TV Show- How did DB survive the plane crash?
What happened to peters Irish girlfriend in heroes
she got stuck in an alternate future
What about SOAP? Almost everyone in the cast was left in mortal danger and then....NOTHING!!!!!!!😡
Jericho - The second American Civil War.
I still wanna know if Remy from "Sliders" made it to his home world.
"Kate! We have to go back!" was one of the most unintentionally funniest lines of the show. This show was a disaster.
What happened to Tony and his fam in Sopranos??? What happened to Sylar between Season 1 and Season 2???
The ending to the Sopranos was left deliberately ambiguous. Tony living or dying is up to the viewer to decide.
And what about Deadwood?
Actually the numbers were given an explanation. They were called The Venziletti Equation. A group of numbers that calculated the precise moment humanity was destroyed. The purpose of the Dharma Initiative was to change them.
Is frank Charlie's dad , is Dennis a serial killer, and is uncle jack the nightman
